Shop owner is arrogant. Purposely charged me $60 for windshield wiper blades, did not ask for that service was just in a hurry and not paying attention, dont go here!!! Ive spent over 10k watching this guy because I knew he was up to something, may report to news if I hear any more victims

Took my car in for a leaking power steering pump but they wanted to replace the rack and pinion and charge me $3000. I ended up going to another mechanic and spent around $250 to get it repaired. Problem solved and no issues. Dont fall for their scam.

Did my charcoal canister NO more engine light due overfill the gas tank when fully up that no no it will cost you money run and change on my front strut and a few bushing have to replace because theyre worn out on my van which is original 2003 Caravan ride like new van. I have been taking my vehicles to Chris for years. I only have positive comments! Most recently, my son totalled his vehicle. We found a used car and took it to Napa to check it out before buying it. They did a thorough inspection which put my son and I at ease in purchasing a used car. The vehicle needed rear brake pads, a new battery, and rear shocks.. they were able to do the job the same day and in less than 2 hours so that my son could get to work on time. No charge for the full vehicle inspection! Great Place and the only place I will take my vehicles! Thanks Chris!!!

NOT A HONEST MECHANIC. Ive been taking my truck in to jack for several years for oil changes recently he had told me my truck needed some major work done it was estimated to be around 1,200 dollars which i didnt have the money at the time. So i had to pull out a little loan to get it done. But i had went to a different mechanic shop that friend recommended to see if i can get job done maybe a little cheaper. And come to find out there was nothing wrong with my truck it just needed a couple of hoses and clamps tighten. It was simple as that. So watch out this guy is out for money.. RAPID REPAIR FAIR AND VERY HONEST MECHANIC

Had a leaking water pump. Was quoted $1560 at another shop. I called NAPA and jack quoted me $970 for the exact job after he went over their estimate line by line with me. Dropped my car off on Friday afternoon and picked it up Saturday. The total was $963 on pickup. I will definitely be using this shop against the next time either of my cars need work.

This place was probably one of the most ridiculous mechanic shops I have been to. I went in for a alignment and the owner recommended me replacing the front struts. I told him I am a full time mechanic and that I could replace the shocks on my own. He told me “if your a mechanic why don’t you do your wheel alignment?” Well maybe I don’t have a $20,000 machine to do alignments. So I told him I would replace them and come back for the alignment. He mentioned that he would not do a alignment on someone else’s work if it wasn’t his. I said “excuse me?”. And he said “it’s like a surgeon starting a surgery and having another doctor coming in the middle of the surgery to finish the job” I told him so your telling me you only do alignments on struts that are only original ?? So for 95% of cars out there that has done front struts you won’t do the alignments because another shop has done it ? You should of saw the look on his face. The owner is a complete moron. No customer service or people skills whatsoever. Probably why he has another name on google instead of his franchise Napa name.

Worst experience I have ever had! Jacj was beyond rude and disrespectful. My car continues to need work after going here for the same issue and now has additional problems after they work on it and after confronting him about it today, he said “I don’t need your business, go somewhere else” after being a customer for over 10 years (yes I should have learned, but they are a block from my house) I can’t even fathom how much Money Jack has made off of me but that will no longer be the case!

I called to get prices and clarification on materials, the guy who answered the phone was rude, didnt listen to my questions and thus became upset because he didnt understand---> do you charge more $ for an oil change that requires 16 qts of oil!? He quoted me $39.95. Im pretty sure your cost for 16 qts of Diesel oil is AT LEAST $32, so... If he had taken 2 seconds to listen he would have earned my business. I used to use JCs for service, Ive referred family and friends there, sent him a lot of money over the years, but this guy on the phone, he just didnt get it. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe he had an irate snowbird yelling at him, but Im in the need of a couple grand in service work, but need an oil change and trans flush first. get it? Just take a moment and listen, pause, ask a question if you dont understand, then be courteous.

You can get an oil change, tire rotation, fluids filled for $18 (with discount card, which is easily obtained).The bad is you have to be subjected to Fox News while waiting. I got to listen to pundits talk about John Edwards haircut, which was 3 weeks ago.

I walking home one day when it was about 110 degrees out or so, little did i know it was going to boil me as i walked. Everybody has to learn once i guess. But as my phone had died and i couldnt call for a ride i was suffering from heat exhaustion on the verge of a heat stroke. I stopped in here as i was about to fall and the guy behind the counter could tell right away i wasnt right and brought me to the back where they kept a cooler full of water and gator aid. He told me to grab a couple then have a seat until I was alright. He let me use the phone and i got a ride but what will always stick with me is how nice and helpful they were to me. I looked like hell and couldnt have been good for business but they treated me with courtesy and respect when they could have told me to beat it. GOOD people work here, and its the only place ill ever take my car to be worked on. Much appreciation to all at JC Auto Repair. P.S. If you go in be sure to shut the door behind you AC isnt cheap damn it!

At first contact Jack seemed nice and knowledgeable. I told him I needed a belt repaired and couldnt get there until 5:45 pm, he said no problem, they dont do any work after 5:30 but I could bring it in. I brought my car in Monday night, Jack had given me a $135 estimate, a little high for replacing a belt but, I didnt want to get under car in 110 degrees and was williing to pay it. Tuesday morning Jack calls me and tells my belt drive tensioner was bad and now it was $400. I said let me make some calls and get back to you. I called a shop, they quoted me $290 over the phone if it needed a belt drive tensioner but, said they rarely do. I called Jack and told him I would by Tuesday night to get my car. I arrived at 5:45 Jack said I could not get my car as it was blocked in by other cars and that they close at 5:30, I was so mad I couldnt see straight. Jack said they opened at 8:30 am and I could get my car then. Their web site says there hours are 8 am to 6pm. I go back Wednesday monrning and get my car at 8:20, after I have my car, return to get my truck that I drove in, I went inside and told Jack I didnt apprecaite him holding my car hostage and not honoring the hours he has posted on the website. Lucky I have 2 vehicles and could still get around. Jack thought I knew nothing about cars and thought he had a patsy, I had car fixed for $150, it didnt need the part Jack said it did. Jack is a bold face liar. I live 2 miles from him and have 3 vehicles, I wanted a close shop to do business with. I will never do business with this man. Also , as I was having words with him, you could tell his wife had been through before, she didnt say one word.

I like coming here because Jack will take me out in the shop and show me whats going on with my car. Ive been coming here for about eight years and have never had any problems and felt it has always been fair pricing.

I have been to this shop before and from past experiences it was good but recently my clutch pedal was starting to stick to the floor periodically. I took my vehicle in thinking I either needed a new clutch or it was the hydraulic system. After two hours I was told I needed a new clutch which was going to be $1300 before taxes and I would not get my car back for 5 days. I decided to seek a second opinion on price and contacted Kobars, they told me the out the door price would be $940 and they would have my car back the following afternoon. I took my vehicle there and they diagnosed the problem as a hydraulic issue, not a clutch issue, and it only cost me $375!! The mechanic Brain explained why it was a hydraulic problem and not a clutch problem and told me that NAPA would have still charged me for a clutch and just ate the cost on fixing the hydraulic system. Point being, I saved over $1000 and am now a Kobar customer.

CUSTOMER BEWARE- the supposed owner of this shop, Jack, sold us a personal car of his through the shop and within 2 weeks we had over 50% of the purchase price needed in repairs (after he claimed the car was in perfect condition according to his diagnostic test). This wouldn’t have been the worst if he had honored the ’30 Day Warranty’ that he included on the invoice with Napa Letter Head at time of purchase (which charged $0 tax on a $X,XXX sale); he reneged on the warranty and proceeded to perform unauthorized repairs on the vehicle. Consulting with a third party mechanic revealed that many of his suggested fixes were unnecessary and negligent for any ‘experienced’ mechanic. When I went to retrieve the car the engine was out of the hood, the engine head at an off-site head shop, and a wheel off the axel. He refused to release the car even after we reiterated we had not authorized the repairs as he had not detailed them or quoted the anticipated fixes. The Gilbert Police Dept. had to be contacted and come on scene to resolve the issue. Sleazy shop with low morals and ethics, all on top of subpar, irresponsible service and a condescending owner with no qualms on cheating his customers. Please be vigilant- they will take you for an awful ride.

Not even a small star, this place its good to loose money and that it For checking my ac in my car I spent over $100 and whene I asked why ? the explanation was unbelievable 1.5lb of freon plus extra leaks dye to find the leaks .Nobody call me and no question about ,I want to do it or not.My car take not even a 1.0 lb of freon, the system was checked for leaks before I dropped the car in this place . the valve was leaking after i come back to talk about the charges and whene hi try to show me what thay did . he says thay put the valve for free not even showson the recipt,hahha good one this is his job scruing people around .So he took my all freon and velves give me all of the money and no sorry at all.now I have to fix the car .Please dont go thay will charge you for something what is not true thay lie..

The Summary:- AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.- Would give it ZERO stars if I could.- Came in with small brake issue and a check engine light. Diagnosed with 4 days and $1200-$1700 repair- Arrived three times to pick up the car only to find it had another issue.- Left three weeks and $2500 later with the same brake issue, new engine issues, and a worse transmission issue.- Jack seems like a nice guy but hes either maliciously ripping people off or his people are incompetent.The Story:Had a 2002 VW Jetta with engine power issues and a check engine light. My own diagnostic tool showed some cylindar misfires. We brought it to Jacks Napa AutoCare Center on a referral from a body shop. They quoted us $1200 to $1700 for a new water pump (which broke) and possibly new heads and a head gasket. We trusted Jack because he seemed like a geniune guy. It was supposed to be done in 4 days, which turned into a 11 days because of shipping delays from Volkwagen. My girlfriend had them look at the brakes, which they replaced the rear brake pads on.It was supposed to be done on the 11th day so I drove to that side of town just to find out a new issue came up. I shrugged it off and let them work on fixing it. It finally came time to pick it up so I drove across the city and we couldnt even drive it out of the parking lot because the brakes suddenly didnt work. The check engine light also instantly came on with a new code related to the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I went back in severely annoyed after almost two weeks and two attempts to pick it up.Jack assured me that next time I was back the car would be in tip-top shape. He also explained that it needed a new brake booster and unfortunately its the expensive one. We paid for a $300 brake booster and let them get back to work. A few days later it was ready to be picked up. The brakes worked just as they had when I dropped it off (after new pads and a new brake booster, both recommended by Jack). The cylindar misfire codes were gone, but the check engine light came on with yet ANOTHER code related to the Mass Airflow Sensor. Regardless, we wanted to be done with Napa so we left just to find that an existing small transmission leak had ended up as a full blown transmission issue.I later found out that the battery had been disconnected (battery case was re-installed backwards), most likely in an attempt to clear the check engine light in a shady way. We sold the car as a mechanics special.

Was waiting around while my car was being serviced and over heard one the owner disgruntle and rude to his employee and it mad me feel so bad I can tell this owner from this shop is emotionally abusive to his employees and nitpicks them I saw the employee sad and upset but respectful. I was warned not to come here because they will try to sell you stuff that you dont need like in dire but they will make it seem that way and they work too fast which makes me feel like they dont care about doing the job with care rushing is not caring about your car I understand some customers want to rush but at the same time rushing can make the employees feel tense and in return can forget to tighten or add a bolt or something because they are under too much pressure to rush. but anyway I already dont like this owner Jack hes moody rude and NOT PROFESSIONAL.Employees just for your Info:If an employee who has been verbally abused is not adequately aided at the company level, she may hire an attorney to take her case to court. Even without precise laws on the books that address the issue, OSHA standards seem to have enough bite to get the attention of courts. For example, the Indiana Supreme Court in 2008 awarded a nurse $325,000 for her claims of intentional infliction of emotional distress and assault after she was screamed at by a surgeon. Once youve heard a hint of abuse occurring within your business, you become part of the problem. You must either address it head on or be prepared to answer for your failure to do so.
