The technician was very polite and informative during his inspection at our new house in Oceanview DE.

Charles did a fantastic job. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. It is important that he respected the home he visited, by wearing booties, and putting down a drop cloth for the dirty parts. He found the error the previous tech made and rectified it. He was one of the best service providers Ive had.

We had a leak inside the house due to changeover from propane to gas. Service person Joe came late at night and did an excellent job rectifying the situation that was actually much worst than we thought.

We purchased a new home and Chris came out to check everything over for us. Chris explained everything and showed us where all the turn offs are - just in case. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions. We appreciate him checking everything out and letting us know that everything was as it should be. Thank you!

Gas inspection on a home I was purchasing. Went as expected but the main gas line was turned of for testing but not turned back on. Had to call technician to return. Otherwise as expected.

I just moved to Delaware & was scheduled by Sharp to have a safety check on my current appliances. Joe Guyette was both professional & knowledgeable during the scheduled process. I haven’t had gas appliances before & he was willing to answer all of my questions. Highly recommended!

Service from initial call to completion was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. Service tech Cody explained what he was doing as he went along, polite and efficient.

Not impressed or thrilled with this company. unfortunately, the propane equipment is theirs. Bought existing home that already had equipment and account. Yet I had to pay $95 for an equipment check where the tech was here for about 15 mins (and he was great). What a ripoff. Then instead of being month to month, I was sent a 5 year contract! Told the CSR, I didnt want a 5 year contract so he sent me a 2 year. Basically, I dont like the terms this company operates on and feel like Im stuck with them.

Excellent service. The Sharp co. Inspection revealed a problem with our fireplace that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. Technician Tom, thorough, courteous and informative, fixed it promptly.While inspecting Tom even pointed out to me an inactive wasps’ nest that was blocking an outdoor vent, outside the realm of his responsibility. The gentleman that came to our house was very thorough, checking everything and showed me where my shut-off valves were. Explained best service technics. Answered all my questions with great details without talking down to me.

Chris Stevenson was on time, polite and very knowledgeable of all our gas system’s. He throughly showed us how our appliances worked and where each shut off value was in case we smelled the propane. He also showed us the unit shut down.

Chris did our gas check and took the time to explain clearly everything he was checking, as well as provide us an education on how to detect gas leaks and what to do in the event of a gas leak. Overall, a very positive experience.

Tom was right on time. He was very courteous and inspected our house inside and out and helped with my fireplace on where to put in batteries in case of a power outage as Ryan stuck them twisted and hidden where I could night see them. We then had a brief but nice talk about Delaware, as we are from the Washington DC area. Also anyone, that I have ever talked to from Sharp Energy has been very polite and helpful.Jerry Hurwitz

Sharp Energy HVAC is outstanding. They gave me a great quote that I shopped to a company I usually deal with that has a terrific reputation. Glad I called Sharp, they were substantially cheaper and provided a superior condenser and had it installed in no time, in fact a few days quicker than the other company could get to it. Would definitely recommend you give them a call if in need of hvac repair, installation, etc!

A SHARP technician came out to ensure our new home propane appliances were properly converted. Everything was great and working properly. He showed me where shut off valves were, always a good thing to know. He also adjusted my stove burners so the low settings was better. Now Ill be less likely to burn things when on simmer. He was very professional and courtious. Very pleaseed with our services from Sharp Energy.

I own my own propane tank and had been searching for a company that doesnt just fill it and forget it for years. Sharp is THAT company. They respond quick upon request and their prices can not be matched. If you are in a hunt for a new company I suggest making the switch to Sharp.

Beware this company at all cost! They pad their bills and can not give an explanation as to why usage and what is billed is different. BUYER BEWARE!

Great visit

They filled my supposedly already full propane with 40 gallons.This is a tank that I had shut off and not used since the last time they filled it.So, its their tank, is it leaking? or am I getting charged for nothing? How do I know that 40 gallons actually went into the tank? if so, where did the other gas go?Customer service contacted 2X - no resolution. Said management would call me.I received no followup call.Im done with this outfit. Canceling my tank rental at the end of the contract period and told them not to refill it anymore. Pick it up at the end of the contract.

Sharp installed a tankless water heater for me and they were superb start to finish. Would highly recommend. From my research they also had the best price for the work they did.

So far a great company to deal with. We switched providers recently and have had nothing but great experiences. If you are shopping for a new company, give Sharp a call!

They come out when they feel like it. Called last week said they would pull a ticket to come out. Called today (3-14) and not til next week. Almost out, Def gonna start looking for a better company!

This is the MOST IMPOSSIBLE company to work with. They locked out my parents tank for non-payment while the payment had been made. After locking it out, they would NOT take off the lock without charging $125 if we waited 3 business days in the middle of a freeze. The charge $250 for having the lock removed the same day. Will definitely be removing Sharp Energy from the premises.

Called Tuesday morning after checking my tanks. Prepaid $500+ for delivery. Was asked what my tanks read (15lbs) in each. Put my heat on 60. Called today to see if they were delivering tomorrow and was told they have a ticket but not sure when they would be there. But they could send a truck tomorrow for $225.00 more to pull a truck off its route. Told them they were crazy and hung up and 1 of their trucks drove right by my house.

Exceptional customer service and a team always willing to do whatever it takes to keep us safe &warm! I highly recommend Sharp!

As I read these reviews, I realize that my experience/complaint is not unusual. In January when I ran out of propane, I was told that my account was on a delivery hold because of an outstanding balance of $14.(yes, $14) If I wanted a delivery, I would have to pay the $14 and a $300 delivery fee in advance before they would fill my tank. Since I operate a business at my location, I had no choice but to pay the $300 ransom to keep from having to close my business. I waited 2 weeks and called them again and asked them to reconsider charging me $300 for a $14 balance. They explained that (honestly) they had miscalculated and believed my tank should have had 30% propane remaining. They said they would refund me a portion of the $300 if I pay $100 to have a monitoring device installed on my tank. Otherwise, they would keep the entire $300 and I get nothing. Guess What.. I have a monitoring device!
