I love this place because they carry single origin beans and some great blends. The pour over specialist is incredibly knowledgeable. It is my go to place for great roasted beans, awesome coffee and a good conversation about coffee. I love a good cup of coffee and lamppost delivers.

I stopped in here on a busy Thursday morning. They offer a wide variety of high-quality coffee drinks and other beverages typical of this kind of establishment..they offer baked goods as well. (I enjoyed a generous slice of lemon poppyseed cake.) All fare is prepared properly and with high-quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and pleasant, and the accommodations are very nice. You have a generous amount of space to find a place to relax and enjoy your cup. Overall, its clean, its pleasant and a great place to patronize a local coffee shop.

Amazing coffee shop!! Excellent and friendly service. Must visit this coffee shop and enjoy your coffee and art pieces on the walls. Lots of space inside to sit, relax and have a nice conversation with friends. Coffee was great and served with a nice touch of froth art. Limited food options available, but still sufficient to accompany your coffee with a bagel, pastry or cookie.

This place has gone downhill. I havent been here in awhile, but stopped by for 3 drinks. The tall redhead is rude and not friendly at all. Asking questions got me short, rude responses and I was the only one in line.I got 3 lattes and it was $17 plus, that sounded about average for other places, until they made them and they were in the kid size cups. I asked them if that was actually the size I paid for and she said it was their regular size.These drinks were half the size of similar drinks from Summermoon or Starbucks. Not saying all of their employees are as rude as this girl was, but their drinks sizes and prices are ridiculous. Terrible customer service, will stick with Summermoon from now on.

My original 1-star post is below. They since made masks optional, so that complaint is obsolete. So Im awarding 3 stars for decent coffee and a limited menu. I prefer Just Love Coffee (and Star Coffee in RR before Lamppost took over that location).********************Products are OK, but yall gotta lose the mask requirement. I was told yesterday that you cant serve anyone who is not wearing a mask. As I looked around and saw NONE of the customers wearing masks, I thought to myself Cant, or wont? I didnt make a scene, or use logic to explain how sitting doesnt make one more safe than standing. Likewise, holding a latte doesnt make one more safe. I mean, if your coffee sterilizes your customers, just how hot is that coffee? LOL There was literally NO DIFFERENCE between me and any other unmasked person there except some of them were mid-sip or mid-bite...and that they walked in with a mask only to take it off seconds later, and I just skipped the mask altogether. Other business owners are not living in fear and are allowing customers to make their own choices, and those are the places I will spend my money. My life is normal now, and youre not part of it, until you return to normal too.

Happy we found this spot! The cold brew and pastry were excellent. The drip could have been better, but I could have just gotten the tail end of the batch. Loved the ambiance. There’s art on every wall and a lot of seating inside and out. Staff was swamped but still helpful.

House syrup latte (Lamppost syrup) is a great flavor! Highly recommend getting this drink. The back patio was nice and spacious. We went when there was a long line but they are really fast so it wasn’t much of a wait.

Always a quality beverage to be had here. Super friendly staff, outdoor seating, wheelchair accessible entrance, plenty of space indoors and electrical outlets near most tables to charge your devices. They also sell fresh pastry and have an excellent kombucha selection. Check out Lamppost Coffee

This is one of my favorite coffee shops! Amazing coffee, good prices, lots of open space (indoors and outdoors), and good vibes for being productive or chilling. If you like sweet coffee drinks, you have to try the Lamba Latte, you can only get it here!

My husband and i decided to visit this coffee shop to get some work done and we really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was a bit cold when you first walk in but going into the back rooms to get work done was alot more comfortable. Coffee was really good as well. Im not usually a fan of stronger coffee but this coffee was actually very smooth.

Searched for an easy to get to place, found Lamppost Coffee and decided to give it a try. Im glad we did. The latte I had was awesome. Will be making them our go to place in Georgetown.

Hands down, my favorite coffee shop in G-Town. The Lamba Latte is what I dream that a cloud would taste like. Its just so perfect. Id like to think that one of their employees jumps in a plane every morning and harvests clouds just to squeeze them into this latte.Do yourself a favor and try one. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Good coffee but service is not great. Not even a hello or welcome from either barista. No interaction what so ever. This was the first and last time I will visit this shop.

Extremely disappointed to see several customers refused service this morning, and their medical mask exemption denied. I just moved here and was starting to enjoy regularly but won’t be coming back. It’s sad to see this kind of discrimination in such a beautiful country!

This is the cutest little coffee shop. A great place to sit at a table and work on a computer or read with plenty of room for social distancing. The coffee and espresso drinks are skillfully prepared and top-notch. Lamppost is a great alternative to larger chain coffee shops.

This place used to be good. Lately I’ve had the worst baristas and service. My drink has been wrong the last 2 times I’ve been. On Saturday June 5th, I ordered a hot drink and was given an iced latte. Today I ordered a large espresso milkshake with extra espresso and skim milk. The barista was about to make my drink with regular milk in a 12oz cup until I pointed it out to her. Then she hands me my drink and says “we don’t use espresso anymore so I added some cold brew” so I got charged .85 extra for 2oz of cold brew? When I asked for a refund on the extra charge another employee is telling me that the concentrated cold brew is just as much caffeine as espresso. 2oz of cold brew is NOT the same as 2 shots of espresso. All this for a drink that was filled 80% of the way, and I was charged $7+ for it. I try and support local but this is ridiculous.

Came here for the first time several months ago while visiting Georgetown and had a great experience talking to the owner & trying their lamba latte which he recommended. Came back again for the second time and wanted to get two simple iced coffees with almond milk & sugar free syrup. The next thing I know our bill was almost $14. For two iced coffees! When asking what the breakdown of that price was (if the syrup or almond milk cost extra so I know next time), I was simply told its like paying for rent, you have the base price with all the extras on top. Which is fine! I get it, you have good coffee and price accordingly. I would just like to know when Im being upcharged so I can expect it when I pay for it. $7 for an iced coffee with almondmilk and sugar free syrup is double what youd pay at Starbucks, or many coffee places. Honestly, the reason Im writing this review because we had such a great first experience (hence my 4 stars) and want this place to do well in Georgetown, but I think the customer service could have been improved today.

Lamppost Coffee is a great spot to study! Front porch for people watching, quiet back room and secluded back outdoor area gives you lots of options! I highly recommend the Lamba Latte (I get mine with oat milk)! And their Sweet Slap is a fun and delicious way to get a caffeine fix quick! You wont want to miss this spot if youre passing through, and it will become a weekly staple if youre local!

I love the soda with flavoring such a nice place friendly people and gets your drink quickly if your in a hurry! Great place to sit and drink some coffee maybe work on some homework if you need to.

I had the pumpkin spice latte and a mocha. Both with coconut milk. You can tell the guy making the coffee is totally into it. I felt like he was talking to the coffee as he was pouring the milk in. Lol. Super cool place. Everyone is always so friendly. Great atmosphere.

Love this little coffee house just off the square in Georgetown! Service is always friendly, and they make an excellent hot or cold Chai Latte (among other wonderful coffee drinks). They expanded their seating area, so there are many more places to sit and socialize or study. Pop in and start your holidays off right with a nice coffee and treat!

They make a good cup of coffee. Their pastries are mediocre. Their staff is almost mediocre. When you have someone like Seth (bluish hair) who spends more time chatting with co-workers about how he feels about things as opposed to keeping the hygiene of the place up as he is walking around. He demonstrated that he could walk around and worry about the specifics of how peoples face masks were being wore however he couldnt wipe down tables or make sure the floor was clean. The table I sat at was riddled with crumbs from someone else.

Been here twice. I know this place because I went on a date here with a former Marine turned Cop for Georgetown. There was a male worker on Nov 11th, 20 around 330pm. They seem to be always busy around this time! He was respectful with very good customer service to let us know theyll be with us shortly as we waited in line. I had some questions and he was patient. I love the Sweet slap, I think that was an espresso? But this time I got the the Iced Lamba Latte, today the girl told me its the same syrup from sweet slap. 😍 Theyre building a bunch of locations in the ATX area which Im so excited! The coffee is so addictive here because they are trained well! Good customer service. Customer for life!

My wife has a skin condition and cannot wear a mask, but this business has no exceptions, so she was told to wait outside like a pet dog, though vaccinated. Their absolute policy is discriminatory, insensitive, and offensive.

Consistently tasty & smooth espresso!!!! The most welcoming staff and cozy spot to camp out to get some work done with a nice view of downtown. Awesome outdoor patio seating with cute hanging lights - excited that they are expanding and renovating their space!!!

Pleasant space with well spaced tables and plenty of room so it doesnt feel crowded or unsafe. Service was good and coffee is excellent although the lack of butter for an otherwise delicious toasted bagel was an unfortunate omission.

I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season at Lamppost Coffee and it was the best one Ive ever had--lots of spice and perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. Delicious! And very nice people!

After many years in Austin and only a couple in Georgetown, I think its wonderful to have absolute top notch coffee shop on the square.

There is something unique about walking into Lamppost. The baristas make you feel comfortable and at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming- a great place to study or meet up with friends. I love their traditional cappuccino! Come a few times and they’ll get to know your name and your order by heart. The perfect local craft coffee shop!

Go there often to work mobile and the staff is great, definitely recommend.
