My 3 year old IPhone 8 battery wouldn’t hold a charge. I checked and found that I could get it replaced at the Apple Store (Austin) for $50. Found A1 Smartphone and Tablet here in Georgetown, who did the replacement quickly and professionally for the same price. No driving to Austin? Yes, please. Totally pleased with the experience.

I was at a work conference out of town when my wife texted me that one of the kids iPhone screens was totally fouled up. From OUT OF TOWN, I tried to setup a repair at a big box store, only to find their hours were inconsistent and very high.I looked for alternate solutions and came across A-1. They could do the repair the next day, first thing in the morning. I setup the repair and left them to it.During the process, I was kept informed via text, and when an issue arose (the necessary screen was available), was given the option to proceed or wait. I opted to continue, and now my kiddo has a black screened iphone, with a white button. Which they love.Would DEFINITELY return for future service if needed!

I left a radio/ cassette player with them as it did not work. They found out that the power cord was loose and fixed it. No charge! Great folks.

Wonderful!! My cat who is up for adoption haha knocked my phone off the table broke not only my glass screen saver but the screen itself A1 to the rescue Chris took the time to repair both while I waited!! My husband damaged his brand new trolling motor, and the owner was able to repair it quickly and with little notice. He stopped what he was working on to take care of the motor and did a great job. They use a status reporting system that enabled me to track on-line the phone’s repair status Their detailed guidance on properly charging my phone’s battery should improve its life, and I no longer leave the phone on the charger overnight or if there is more than 20% capacity remaining.They are honest and reliable, and highly recommended.

I had a cracked screen on my iPhone took it in to them in the morning they quoted me a price so that they would have it done that afternoon and they did screen looks great so looks great very pleased with them they also emailed me their progress during the day.

This company is the best! The customer is over the top! My iPhone was not working, the touch screen was no longer responding and it would lock up when I was able to access the front page. Amanda and her team did their very best to fix it, unfortunately it was not to be. The phone was too jacked up to retrieve anything. The staff at A-1 are incredibly friendly and helpful. I had the screen replaced on my sons IPhone. I brought it in a few mi s after they opened and within an hour and a half they had it finished. I am incredibly pleased with A-1 and will bring and all electronics that need repaired to them. I highly recommend A-1 and will tell everyone I know about them.

Ive had the pleasure of doing business with A-1 twice now due to my 2 young boys being rough with their tablets. I went to a different store to begin with & wish I knew about A-1 beforehand. Went in to have the screen on my iPhone replaced. They took one look at it and told me it wasn’t the screen but the screen saver. Took maybe two minutes to replace. While I was there another guy walks in with an iPhone with no sound. They took a look and with the aid of some tiny tweezers they had his sound back on and didn’t charge him.Totally would recommend.

I thought the issues with my iPhone were going to require a new phone purchase. They performed very affordable repairs within a couple of hours and all is good. I would definitely see A-1 Smartphone Repairs before considering having to purchase a replacement new phone.

There were able to fix my phone in a timely manner despite a FEDEX shipping issue outside their control. A-1 put a new battery in my aging iPhone 6S Plus. Very reasonable price, good advice on getting the most out of the new battery, and very friendly people. Plus a quick turnaround. Id use them again without reservation.

I needed to replace the battery in my phone and was leaving town in 2 days. I phoned late one afternoon and Yes, they could replace the battery, they had one in stock, and if I could come in the next morning, they could replace it in about 30 minutes! Mission accomplished the next day & I could depart on my travels as scheduled.

They repaired the screen in my iPhone about a year ago and I was only without my phone for a few hours. They recently repaired an Android tablet it was done sooner and cheaper than they quoted! I will go back again and have recommended to friends!

These specialists are absolutely the best. I was enamored at how they paid so close attention to me, my phone, did their best to fix, and finally, conclusively (and I swear it, after many avenues at attempts and failures) told me I probably should get a new phone - it was dead. Yet still, I was offered one last option of sending it to one of their associates, but I said no. And while waiting, Amanda at the front desk gave me so many tips on keeping up with my iphone. Truly free information. I paid no fee as they are a no fix, no fee basis. They do accept tips which I failed to do and I dont not feel right about it. They gave me so much. This is the place to go, but go between Monday and Thursday; they are quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays.

I am an officer stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, about an hours drive from A-1 Smartphone and Tablet Repair. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 1st Gen. I needed to fix the cracked screen but did not want to spend too much on the repair. So, I took it to a place near the base. They did a botched job replacing the screen to where the iPad did not work anymore. They gave me a lame excuse, saying it was a risk fixing it. I then took it to A-1, driving the hours distance and thinking it was going to be a waste of time. I did not want to give up on my iPad because of all the material I have on it. Hank at A-1 looked at it and told me no problem...well fix it. He didnt mention anything about a risk or the likes. The price for the repair was also great. A week later, I had my iPad Pro working like new. These guys know their stuff. Like having a good mechanic and a good lawyer, A-1 are my go to guys for any future computer repairs. To such an extent that when I leave Fort Hood, Texas for my home in New Orleans, I will rather mail them any and all computers/iPhone/iPad, etc., when I need repairs. These guys are that good.

I called in with a boot loop issue on my iPhone 7 and Amanda knew immediately what the issue was and the steps I needed to take to get it repaired/replaced under warranty through Apple, even though my warranty ended 2 months ago. These guys are incredible. So down to earth, honest. And good at what they do. They fixed my cracked screen in under an hour. Chris even gave me a screen protector for no charge. Chris and Amanda are the absolute best in the biz. Ive never worked with a service company that stands more behind their work than A-1 Smartphone and Tablet Repair. For the past month or so, theyve worked diligently to fix my iPhone 6 Plus. As it turned out, the main board was essentially fried/ not fixable. Chris was able to get it close to fixed, and he even sent the phone to experts in California and Florida to have it evaluated as part of his diagnosis. His goal was to find a solution no matter what it took. Once he discovered it was not fixable, Chris and Amanda refunded me 100% for all repairs that I had paid for. They did not have to do that, but they did. They could have easily handled it differently because they invested a lot of time and effort/resources into repairing my phone - and they got it close but since they couldnt deliver all the way, they refunded ALL the repairs. They are a class act. They are honest. They are doing it right as a small business, and I will send anyone in Central Texas to them for cell phone repairs.

I was really impressed with the knowledge and care for the repair of the cell phone I brought to them. I am only giving 4 stars because I wasnt prepared for the 2 days it took. I feel it might have been a miscommunication. But once I called to check on it they were quick to get the phone completed. The service was great and very friendly. I will continue using them.
