This place is more of a bar with small menu then it is a meat supplier. Menu is almost all sandwiches. A little bit slow in the making but the dip I had was very tasty. They do sell high quality meat but the selection wasnt as much as youd expect at a meat supply. They also sell a nice selection of BBQ rubs.

I was totally surprised to see this new business off of the square in Georgetown. I walked in not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It is decorated with rustic / modern-farmhouse decor with an area for playing lawn games like corn hole. There is a bar area to order drinks and sandwiches as well as a butcher counter with various cuts of meat available for sale. A unique business concept for the area. We enjoyed grabbing a beer and ordering sandwiches. I tried the Texas dip ( a twist on a traditional French dip) which was tasty. I could tell that the quality of meat was top notch. A great addition to the restaurant scene in Georgetown.

Sorry, I normally don’t write bad reviews. But don’t bother eating here. This is more of a place to buy a glass of beer or wine as you walk around the square. Menu is sparse and beef is expensive. I guess they sell a lot of alcohol cuz they don’t seem to mind making people wait on a sandwich and chips. The staff was friendly, they just don’t have enough people to keep up with food orders.

Ive always brought friends and family including our children to both Mesquite Creek and Tejas Meat Supply. We have always enjoyed it and never had issues in the past. Countless times we have done this. Yesterday, was a slower than normal business volume for yall and we were one of the few people in the building. As I was trying to enjoy my sandwich and a beer, I assume what is the manager came up and said that my kids are being too loud. He said that we ran six patrons off although the entire time I was there I probably saw two. One sat at the bar that I had a good conversation with him. I believe the only person that was annoyed with the kids was the manager himself. Ive been in this place and Mesquite Creek to where the volume was raucous and loud, and it seems to be just part of the environment. Maybe you should put a sign on the door that says children arent allowed so that we know not to bring kids in there anymore. I have spoken with several other people that say they bring their kids there and they have a good time no problems, despite loud kids. Truly made us feel unwelcome there ever again.

Tejas Dip and Turkey BLT were great. Atmosphere was cool. Plenty of beers on tap and in the cooler. Looked at the meat counter and looked better quality than HEB and prices were comparable.

Had the Cuban sandwich and it was every bit as good as any Cuban sandwich Ive ever had in Florida or Miami! Nice restaurant inside and the location is great being right on the square in Georgetown.

My wife and I went there for lunch. Their menu is very limited. I had the Georgetown Melt. It was supposed to have brisket and bacon, but it was sparse. The flavor was lacking. My wife had the smoked turkey sandwich from the kids menu and she said it was one of the worst sandwiches she had ever had. With two teas and bags if chips, the bill was around $25. All I can say is they better sell a lot of beer. I checked out the Meat Market and they had New York Strips for $26/lb..

First of all, I will say the decor was really cool and the quality, and flavor of the of the meat was really good. The portion sizes were REALLY small though and the sandwiches should be half the price. Also, we had to request napkins and forks. I would suggest making it clear where you order too. I would agree with a few of the other reviews that the service is lacking. This was our Fathers day meal. We wanted to like it, but we wont be back.

We had heard good things. Stopped in and spoke with the butcher. Prime beef, some pork and “exotic” all from Texas. Very well cut. Excellent selection of seasonings and other items. Beautiful indoor space. A great use of space that has been empty for too long.

This spot is absolutely incredible and a much needed addition to the square. Combination butcher shop, deli, bar, plus the option for your own game processing! Atmosphere is fantastic and family friendly too. Matt is an attentive, informative, and personable bartender and Tyler’s recommendation of the pork loin from the butcher shop was incredibly tender and (per my family) the best pork they’ve ever had! We’ll be long time patrons for sure and can’t wait to watch this place grow with the community!

Upon first glance, the cuban sandwich looked good. Having worked at a restaurant that was very specific about the way sandwiches were put together, I could tell there was zero love in the sandwich, it was all procedure. That being said, it tasted fine, it was just rushed with no care. There is a difference. As a further example, it appears they make their own pickles but the pickles were hacked up and they were different sizes and again, no love. Also, I wont be going back because no one was wearing masks and no one was friendly. Had the people been masked and friendly, and maybe tried to sell me some of the fresh cut steaks, I probably would have bought enough for our household. I couldnt wait to get out of there.

Staff was friendly and attentive, and I’m very glad they are open late on a Sunday.

Decent pub food, indifferent service. Came in with a group, music was so loud we couldnt here each other talk. We asked if the music could be turned down but were told thats the way we do it here. Go here if you like to shout at your friends, not if you want to have a pleasant time.

Keep walking around the corner to Golden Rule! The service is lackluster. I tried on two separate occasion to purchase a to go drink unsuccessfully. Hey owners in the overpriced Yeti vest when you bartenders are busy step up. Say hello to the customer and grab them a beer then tell the bartender to ring up. You are in the service industry!

Gave this place multiple chances, but service & food is terrible. Last time there we ordered the Tejas dip, mine was supposed to be without cheese. Both came with cheese. The guy making the sandwiches said that he left the cheese off of mine, but clearly it had cheese on it. The waiter agreed with me that there was cheese on it. Nothing was done about it, no money back, nothing. I have a dairy allergy, not lactose intolerance. Horrible place, should not be part of beautiful Georgetown square.
