You normally have fabulous customer service in the Oil Change department, However- I am not sure if the team was overwhelmed or lack of staff but it took longer than normal for someone to come out and greet me, then the lady was not as friendly just rushed through, and normally someone comes and recommends service to vehicle, that didnt happen. It was nice that it was only about a 35-40 minute wait- but I wonder if my inspection was done half fast. I am hoping my next experience will be what makes your dealership different, but if service is not improved I will definitely need to look elsewhere. Thank you!

Several things always standout at Don Hewlett Services: 1) Unbelievable promptness. The car went in within 5 minutes of my arrival. 2) The Senior Technician kept me in the loop constantly on nature of work required with good counsel. 3) I had asked for an annual auto inspection and scheduled service. This was an extensive service - and it took 1-1/2 hours to complete. 4) They returned the car to the front door - completely washed. Really the best in the business from my perspective.

We have used Don Hewlett Chevrolet twice in the past five years.Once for fender vendor and again recently when the alternator went out on my sweethearts Chevy truck.No complaints here, professional friendly service and they got us in and out very quickly and the truck was fixed in a very timely manner considering, with even a printout of everything that was done including explanations on why it was acting the way it was and not running right.For a dealership this is definitely a place to go if you want a knowledgeable staff that really knows their business, like to get you in and out and has friendly professional service and they seem to genuinely want to help you with answering all of your questions and getting your car worked on and back and working order. Great place!

I had my Silverado in for an air bag recall and alignment. They did a great job with the alignment and a decent job with my air bag recall. I had some electrical tape hanging down under my glove box from the air bag recall service but no big deal. What I was not impressed with was the Multi-Point Inspection. They tried to sell me almost $1,000 in parts and services that I did not need.I am a truck guy myself and had just changed all the fluids recently and knew they were good to go. My service advisor had text me and said they checked and I needed front and rear differential fluid changed along with a transmission flush and both cabin/engine air filters, and a throttle body cleaning. I knew they did not even check these fluids as if they did, it would not have been suggested and my truck is old enough to not even have a cabin air filter! I had also just done my throttle body cleaning last week and am confident its not dirty yet a week later.Overall the techs seem to do decent work but are pushed to sell parts based on mileage, not vehicle condition. Having worked in a few dealerships myself, I know they do this to save time on the line with inspections and make more money. All that taking the short cut did was make me not want to come back and trust them. Probably a good shop otherwise.

At first we bought a used 2018 truck. Off the lot the truck did not smell, however after bringing it home for a day, a smell of cigarette was present in the truck. Being non smokers this was unacceptable as this is going to be the family vehicle. The dealership recognized this and took the vehicle back, and searched for a sufficient replacement for me. They found a brand new Silverado 1500 LT that we loved and ending up taking home. So all in all, the dealership corrected the issue. I highly recommend Don Hewlett. Chase Bass our salesman always kept in contact with me, as we were waiting an extra 2 weeks or so for the new vehicle to arrive.

Shawn Wilson our main sales person was great to deal with. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a pressure free buying experience. Although we didnt get the price of the car we were hoping for thats not a reflection on her since she tried her best to work with management to help us with price negotiations. The management team I felt was not very flexible on price negotiations, which was a disappointment. Would have given it a 5 star review if we got the car for the price we wanted but such is life.

Everyone at Don Hewlett was very friendly and helpful in this car buying experience. When I called into see if the truck was still on the lot, Ronnie Bradford helped me out immensely. And although he wasnt able to help me at the moment, he made sure I was well taken care of when I came in to meet with Phillip Davis. Phil was awesome, personable and great to work with. It was unlike any other car buying experience Ive had. It is especially tough these days finding/buying a vehicle. Phil went out of his way to make sure I was well taken car of and got into the truck that I wanted. He was helping me like he was buying the truck for himself. I will definitely be back for future purchases with Phil, and any one that I can push his way.

The service department helped explain the tire pressure monitor system and adjusted the camber and alignment to be more comfortable instead of the racing setup it comes with. Close to $4,000.00 dollars for a truck that barely cost Us $9,000.00 didnt make sense. BUT again Kaitlynn was great throughout the process! The car buying experience was so simple at Don Hewlett Chevrolet. Orlando made the process so easy. He was very professional during the whole thing. He explained everything well and would ask questions if we did not. Working with Orlando in sales and Jeff in finance was a wonderful experience. Second visit with our second auto for brakes and general review of car. Brakes were completed and work like new and at competitive pricing compared to auto shops in the neighborhood. Difference is certified mechanics, GM Parts and a Service Rep Jacob Watson who really knows what he is doing. After a bad experience at a dealer closer to us, i reached out to Don Hewlett Chevrolet. After talking with Ronnie on the phone and confirming they had several of the model I was looking for, which is tough during the shortage we decided to make the hour long trek to Georgetown. Ronnie was off the day we came but he referred us to Abraham. Abraham went above and beyond to get us into what we were looking for. The entire staff was respectful, polite, and helpful. They did not try to squeeze in hidden fees or charges, they did not try to push extended warranties. It was quick and smooth process. We will definitely return for any car buying needs.

I purchased a BRAND new 2020 Silverado (only 7 miles) and have had SEVERAL issues since week one!This dealership had been incredibly disappointing in handling the repairs necessary to ensure a safe vehicle which forced me to go to GM legal to address the issues; after 9 months of: wasting my time, attempting repairs, false narratives and a ton of phone calls they eventually corrected the issue.The worst part is they have good local folks working there in various departments whom are limited in their ability to help but all in all, I cannot recommend nor promote this horrible experience to anyone ..........

Our car is valued around 14,000 to 16,000 and they new my pay off was only 9,000 so that’s what they offer us this deal ship is not looking out for anything but a profit please be careful here! The sales manager that was rude and disrespectful and treated us like we didn’t have a brain she just wanted to ack like she knew what she was doing but the real manager was waiting in the background seeing if we would take the bait. The staff were courteous and organized. My appointment went well, but I did need to leave my truck due to the issue being the transmission. The issue was confirmed and the replacement of the transmission fluid was done and appears to have fixed my issue.However, I am concerned the issue is a known problem with the Chevy Colorados (mine being a 2018). I have less than $25k on my truck and did not expect to have any issues, especially with the transmission.I hope GM takes seriously the loyalty of its customers and works to actually resolve the issue instead of hoping the replacement of transmission fluid is going to work...at least for a while.Thank you, Don Hewlett was great.

Will was amazing- He was honest and transparent, and I fully trusted him. I have lived in Austin for 5 years and was previously so frustrated by the quality of other Chevrolet dealerships in the area. I called Don Hewlett and spoke with Will, and he calmly answered my questions and shared all of my options, not just those that would most financially benefit the dealership. I ended up making an appointment to have my car serviced, and my total bill ended up being less than he previously quoted me- This indicated me that he (and the rest of the team) were honest and conservative in their charges. I am a handyman. I bought my now vehicle from Don Hewlett Chevrolet in good faith believing that the extended warranty I purchased from them through General Motors would continue to be in affect and cover what was stated . the first time I had to use the warranty they canceled it, after years of having it they did offer to refund my money or purchase another policy which would exclude all pre-existing conditions. I told them that would not work for me . Its not what I bought it for in good faith I need my truck they did try to fix it.The airbag warning is still on and when you put the brakes on the back up lights come on I had the vehicle safety checked by them and it passed but as I said those two issues were not fixed which would make it not pass the safety test

The salesman went over the different aspects of the vehicle to include the sticker and what each warranty meant. The test drive went great. My salesperson (Shannon Wolf) was fantastic, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Seems like they don’t want my business. First I went to Services to get something installed into my car. They told me to go to accessories because services doesn’t do what I wanted. Then accessories tells me they don’t know why services said that since they do do what I wanted… then they said they can’t order the part and that it could take months… (I ordered and received it on my own online, got it that same week). They also told me it doesn’t require an ECU reflash. The part’s instructions literally says on the first page ECU flash required at authorized dealer.Then I went back and they couldn’t make an appointment because their “scheduling guy” isn’t there; I had talked to the manager. What kind of manager can’t schedule an appointment? They said they would call back multiple times, never did. I called and they would just transfer my calls in circles until it gets to someone that doesn’t pick up. Voicemail.The manager personally told me I would get called the following day, didn’t. So I called, no answer. Transferred calls? Voicemail. How hard is it to schedule an appointment?I’m going to a different dealer even though they can’t get me in for 2 weeks

My truck was at the dealer for 4 weeks, waiting on a wheel speed sensor, and coolant line. Supposedly the sensor is on back order. I had to go pick up my truck because I have to have it to feed cows. On the way home I decided to call henna, they have the part in stock. So for $114 out of pocket and five minutes of work my truck is fixed. I feel embarrassed to have bought my truck from Don Hewlett, in four weeks they couldn’t get done what I did with a phone call and five minutes.

Came in for an oil change. I was greeted with a very friendly person. Told where to go wait and asked if I wanted my car washed and vacuumed. I said yes to the vacuuming and almost exactly an hour later my car was ready and vacuumed! For my first experience at this dealership, Id say it was a very impressive experience.

Excellent service! I live in Los Angeles but only Don Hewlett Chevrolet had the exact 2021 Silverado I was looking for. I had the pleasure of talking to Chase. He made the entire transaction a breeze from start to finish. We spoke on the phone and texted frequently. He was very quick to respond to all my annoying questions. Ian Carpenter the XPRESS SERVICE ADVISOR did and outstanding job. I went in for an oil change. There was a concern for a Chance Automatic Transmission Fluid that he took care of for me. He also said that in the tires were good but maybe in the near future I may need some as I had 48,000 + miles on the vehicle. I asked about what the charge would and he gave a printout and also advised me that before I get the tires to let them know so they would be sure to have them in stock. Since I had been receiving many prank calls about my warranty , He told me when mine would be due and how to go about getting an extended warranty. Really a poor practice that has nothing to do with providing convenience or customer service to the consumer. I can plug my VIN into multiple GM Dealer websites and they’ll give me the information or I can call another dealer like I did and they’ll give it to me or I suppose I could come to your parts desk in person and get it from you when you bring the part out 🤷🏽‍♂️. Just means I’m doing my business down the street with the other dealership.

I would like to start this review by saying this is the third brand new vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. I dropped 5k in warranties and 5k on a level kit off-road tires tint and the decked system that holds your tools in the bed of your truck. The decked system was installed wrong and was missing parts it leaked (badly) and ruined 4000$ in tools. The rest of this review will be in the photos I was emailing back and forth with with Mike from the dealership until he decided to stop responding to me. This dealership used to be awesome however it’s run poorly now and that’s coming from a business owner.

John Gonzales, at Don Hewlett, previously sold my son his truck. It was such a smooth and easy experience we immediately thought of him when I decided to buy a new SUV for myself. We shopped the inventory on line then coordinated with John to see the Equinox I was interested in the next day.When we arrived John was pulling around from the car wash with the car. It was great! He gave me a quick walk through of the touch screen and we were off on a test drive. Only one was needed, I wanted this car. While John worked the paperwork Chris, from accessories, dropped by to brief me on future options. We drove the car home that night and returned the next day to finalize the paperwork. Brett in finance was awesome and super friendly but best of all he got me a better interest rate than my bank of 30 years!Overall this was an incredible experience and I’d strongly recommend anyone interested in a new or used purchase to visit John and the whole team at Don Hewlett. Elias Pasos was a really nice guy. he seemed to care about more than just selling us a truck. He took a lot of time with us to make sure we were comfortable with the whole package. He really listened to what we were saying, and got us exactly what we were looking for. We have bought our share of cars in the past and you dont always find a great person helping you with the sale. My wife loves her new truck and we will go back to Don Hewlett for our next vehicle also. hopefully Elias is still there next time

After being a loyal D.H customer for the last 3.5 yrs we will not be returning after our last experience with Alicia in service. Horrible customer service and she never called us to let us know what was going on the 4 days our vehicle was there. I know service depts are crazy busy right now but literally the worst customer service and not satisfied with the repair out come.

Thanks for all your help. I wasnt sure what was wrong with my car but Adam listened to my description, made initial assessments and service recommendations, and ultimately properly diagnosed what needed to be repaired and coordinated it all. I also needed lots of overdue maintenance on the car and they handled that too! There was a chance Id have to leave my car for two days but the team got it done in one day! I really appreciated the speed and quality of the work. And bonus... the covid precautions are still in place, which I also appreciate. Thanks for caring about me and my safety while fixing my car!

Need I say More,, Nope!!! V6 Blazer in DeadPool Red!!! Dealer model so all the bells and some whistles. Got an excellent price on my trade in. Shawn #4 is as honest of a salesmanship as I have ever met and I have met A LOT. Will definitely come back and already told my friends to come here. Way better then the Chevy Dealer in Philadelphia for sure.
