Had to come to Dallas for Dr appointments and my son didnt load my oxygen machine. Went into a panic but, the office in Garland were wonderful!! So nice and polite! This is why I will continue to use Lincare in San Angelo and here in Dallas because I receive the same courtesy and wonderful customer service from their employees!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Attempted to place an order with them to no avail. Rude customer service. Almost seemed as they didnt want any new customers. Will be contacting my insurance provider to let them know of the situation and refusal to take my order. Will avoid and will find another provider.

At best this company has a good scam going. They promise to verify your insurance and promise you only owe x amount. Later you find out you were sent to collections for 1000s of dollars. The staff in the Garland office was very unprofessional and the respiratory therapist really didnt care to teach me about the machine or the fact that he was late and unprepared fod my appointment.

On 12/2/2020 our pulmonary Dr. order a concentrator for the home E1390 - Oxygen Concentrator, and E0431 - Portable Oxygen Concentrator had been ordered. At no time did they ever contact us we had no way of knowing they had been assigned or approve. It was not until 12/20/2020 when we got a copy of the approval letter from our insurance company did we know they had been assigned. When we finally got in contact with them it was more important for them to blame covid, the hospital, the Dr., the insurance company and us for there being no contact at all from them and there being over a month delay in getting the Oxygen. Now our deductibles have started over - there is a 4 day hospital stay that will eat up the deductible so while it does not show at this moment due to the bills not hitting the insurance company, it will.American Homepatient has held us hostage with the portable Concentrator, they said that they need to process an internal approval to purchase the concentrator, they expect us to put a credit card on file, and want to wait several months to get payments from the insurance company under their belt before they even start this internal approval process. This is a scam - these guys are willing to endanger your life while they line their pockets, they have chosen not to follow the Drs orders and withhold the portable concentrator needed for work. So they will make you jump thru hoops and then set them on fire for their amusement!STAY FAR AWAY FROM LINCARE AND AMERICAN HOMEPATIENT

Terrible Customer ServiceTried to verify insurance information. First person I spoke with looked it up and saw one division was but had to look up the other. We were disconnected so I called back. The next rep who answered refused to look it up saying they cant see who they are in-network with. (Not true since I was just on the line with a rep who was looking it up). When I asked to be forwarded to someone else their reply was, Im not going to do that. Very rude. Not worth working with if they cant provide any customer service.

You should be able to give negative stars in the review process! This company is one surely to stay away from. All I needed was for them to fulfill my CPAP script from my doctor and they somehow turned that into me needing nocturnal oxygen...somebody seriously needs to look deep into the practices of Lincare. RUN FAST!

I started with this company in April (a few weeks before my surgery). I stressed that I had to have the CPAP for the surgery and was assured that it wasn’t a problem. I sent sleep study documents and heard nothing. I called them and after they found my account, they said the data wasn’t sufficient to send to the insurance co. I asked what was missing and I got the ‘cow looking at the new gate look’. They finally came back saying they needed my Dr.’s notes showing we had the conversation regarding the benefits of cpap therapy. The Dr provided information and Lincare decided it wasn’t good enough. My Dr wrote another not, on a prescription pad and that was just stupid according to Lincare and there’s no way they would submit that. Again, the Dr took the time to write a ‘note’ showing our discussions and faxed it over. 1-2 weeks after this! I called because I hadn’t heard any news...good or bad. The inept receptionist said that she didn’t think it would work but would run it by her manager and call me right back. It’s now been 5 days and I have yet to hear anything. I can’t wait to call this group of inept “professionals” and tell them what they can do with my information and account they seem to have such a hard time finding every.single.time I call. If this is our future in business, get ready for working for minimum wage the rest of your life or get the MRS degree and get knocked up by a few rich guys! LMAO.. No kidding, it’s so sad and frustrating, you gotta laugh! I just want to buy a $1500 medical devise. Business must be really good for these folks!

The most sullen respiratory therapist greeted me with all the charm of a wet mop. The two were very concerned that I might not be compliant and they would not get their money from Medicare when I indicated I intended to purchase my own machine when a new one was released. The sales associate was even ruder than the respiratory therapist and clearly needs anger management counseling. The manager cannot manage this out of control and unruly duo.STAY AWAY from this place. THEIR MONEY is all they care about.I believe it is UnAmerican to do business with Lincare. This is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Linde, a gases and engineering company headquartered in Germany. RUN, RUN, RUN.Below are the very recent criminal actions of Lincare, Inc. This is a criminal company that was found in violation of U.S. law with conduct that has / had the potential to exploit clients and services, that would me You and that would be Me.Read this. Do you believe Lincare will not cheat you?On August 16, 2018, the DOJ announced that Lincare, Inc. (Lincare), a durable medical equipment (DME) provider of oxygen and other in-home respiratory therapy services, paid $5.25 million to settle allegations that it violated the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute by offering illegal price reductions to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries. Lincare is headquartered in Florida and has approximately 1,000 locations throughout the United States.Prior unlawful conduct included four investigations. THIS IS NOT A FIRST. DO YOU BELIEVE IT WILL BE THE LAST?IT IS UNAMERICAN TO DO BUSINESS WITH LINCARE.I believe it is important to immediately contact Lincare in writing, keep a copy, and advise them you will purchase your supplies elsewhere. This German company has engaged in unlawful conduct in the United States. In 2018 Lincare, Inc. agreed to pay the United States $5.25 million to settle claims that it violated the federal False Claims Act. This is perhaps the first False Claims Act recovery for claims brought by a whistleblower against a medical provider for misappropriating federal funds under the Medicare Advantage program, where claims are paid by private insurers, whose health insurance plans are funded by the federal government.THIS IS ON TOP OF PRIOR CLAIMS OF UNLAWFUL ACTS.Previously, Lincare Holdings agreed to pay more than $12 million to settle ongoing kickback and reimbursementallegations. FOUR long-standing investigations by the Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the U.S. Department of Justice, federal officials alleged that the company paid illegal kickbacks for patient referrals. Lincare also was accused of violating the physician self-referral (Stark) law.In the first investigation, OIG alleged that from 1993 to 2000 Lincare engaged in a nationwide scheme to pay physicians kickbacks to refer their patients to the company and gave referring physicians items like sporting and entertainment tickets, gift certificates, rounds of golf, golf equipment, fishing trips, meals, advertising expenses, office equipment and medical equipment. The kickbacks were disguised as payments for supposed consulting agreements, such as medical director agreements. The U.S. Office of Inspector General alleged that Lincare violated the physician self-referral law byaccepting referrals from parties to the illegal consulting agreements.Three additional investigations involved allegations that in periods ranging from 1995 through 2004, Lincare inappropriately sought reimbursement under Medicare and other government healthcare programs, or otherwise violated federal health care laws.
