Plumbing is bad at this store!?!?That’s what the manager said when I asked where the restrooms were.Seriously! The manager! Lol What was sad to me was that you could tell he was lying. He says “All the plumbing just blew up and they have people coming in”. Who’s they? What people?Good thing Harbor Freight has good plumbing!

Probably The worst more than tour I have ever experience I called the lady that picked up the phone just says hello I had to confirm it was Northern tool. She said OK wait and transferred me over to a guy that picks up the phone and says “yeah”. Then I tell him that I’m trying to see if somethings in stock so I can go buy it he says well do you have an item number or what do you want………. I’m a contractor I spent a lot of money on Northern tool but most likely I’m going to stick to whitecap or Harbor freight even though they are a bit more expensive it’s worth not getting spoken to as a child

I was in the Garland store a couple of days ago, and it was a great experience. I could not find what I needed on the shelf so Jason let me have the display one. He made sure it was complete and helped me load it. My wife and are seniors and it was nice to find a young person so dedicated and cheerful. Northern Tool of Garland gets 5 stars for a neat, well laid out, well stocked store with great employees. Thanks Jason.

Older location but recently remodeled has open display areas that compel impulse purchases. Cashier was very friendly and helpful and genuinely concerned that none of the other employees had offered assistance to me on this late Saturday evening shopping expedition. I had checked online about stock for a particular item and was pleasantly surprised that the inventory was up to date and accurate

Excellent store except for one thing. When they advertise items at a sale price they NEVER have enough back stock to meet the demand. Their brochures show that sales are good for 30 days but they only keep enough inventory to meet the first few days demand. I live out in the country so I can rarely get to the store when the sale first starts and 90% of the time by the time I come into the store they have already sold out of the items I want to purchase. Ive asked if I can go ahead an pay for the item(s) and just wait for the them to arrive later but Ive always been told that is not an option. If it were not for this on MAJOR issue I would rate them 5 stars.

Called ahead of time as it is a one hour drive to verify engine was in stock they said they had three. Get to the store and they still show three but cant find one for me. Asked to speak to manager and have been waiting

Went to buy a utility wagon.I had an add for $99. It rang up at the register for $149.Ot expired last week...I had another current flyer with the price at $109. There was a disclaimer in the front of the flyer in small print that prices were not valid at all locations....I drove 80 miles just to be disappointed. I left all other items at the register on my way out....

Store had 5 minutes till closed worker were prompt with finding relevant products.

I ordered a chainsaw mill from them over a month ago. I have been lied to about shipment arrival and then told I would receive a call from Norwood which never happened. A reputable company would seek the answer for a customer. I paid for the item upfront. I will never buy another item after this issue is resolved. I would have given them zero stars if was possible.

I have had issues before with this company selling substandard products. I try to avoid them as much as possible. Today I went in to pick up a standard Ironton 100 air hose reel that you wind up by hand. It is item specific to this particular company. There wasnt any on the shelves so I went to the cashier for help and there was no one in line. She refused to help me by looking up the item and brushed me off with a statement that it would take 30+ days to get it from back order. I went out and checked online and it couldve been delivered to the store in a day or two. Lazy workers, lazy management.

It was a sad experience there was only 3 employees on the sales floor one of them was a member of management but no one acknowledged any of us customers, I had to go the cashiers for help or some kind of orientation. After 45 minutes of walking around the store I found what I was looking for, thanks to the cashier that acknowledge me after I went back to the front of the store. Only 2 stars due to bad customer service!

Always more than happy with the quality and price for items from Northern Tool...but their website checkout leaves a bit to be desired. Key codes and other offers advertised on their site are conflicting and appear to be false advertising. Whole experience was frustrating, including the real time chat help that basically was no help at all, other than telling me that the web site offer wasnt really an offer at all.

They moderate reviews they dont like on their website, which is double speak for deleting negative reviews. Powerhorse pressure washers are absolute junk. They sell a product that they know will not last. They push you to buy the extended platinum warranty because they know the unit will stop working inside of 2 years. Spend an extra $100 and go to Home Depot and get a Honda.

Went to price a pole saw and made a purchase, now my male friend has a new toy.

We went into the store looking for a fan and the selection was astounding. We went into store 65 which was Mesquite TX. Justin approached us immediately on Sunday, June 14, 2020 and was the most friendly, helpful and informative weve ever dealt with. He even greeted us and visited with us at the check out. We actually left the store with 2 fans for our livestock and pool area. Will definitely be back!

So to change or add cards, you make it totally hard. I use my account for both business & home. To add a card with different billing address, you have to change it completely. I like your products & your site, but billing part is differently not user friendly.

They would have gotten 5 stars if their selection was better. What sets this store apart from the others, is the customer service from Marcos and Abby. Overall a good store. Northern would do well to allow Marcos and Abby to teach the rest of their team what customer service should be.

Had the most incredible shopping experience here recently. Completely inept in power washers, I was probably looking for a good 5 minutes on what models and pressure rating to buy for my small job when Dani came over to the rescue. Quality customer service is in short supply these days and I was blow away by her knowledge and professionalism. I’ll be back for a power drill, needless to say.

The best place to buy your tool great people

Well cashier #296523 was ok with us but the customer ahead of us was paying their amount due and was trying to hand this cashier a $100 bill. The cashier so rudely said I dont have change for that Now it is 5:06 in the evening so its hard for me to believe that she has no change from an entire day of business. Not sure why she was so rude to this customer. The customer did have nerve to stand up to her by saying thats all I have. Well dont you know she was able to call for change. Oh then her register popped open and dont you know the drawer had enough change for this customer. I wanted so bad to have a $100 to pay with just to have her deny my purchase. Well she got lucky I did not do it to her. It makes me wonder how many customers you have lost because of her welcome warming attitude. In what is going on in the world with as many people who have lost jobs like me would take her position just to have a job and every customer would be welcomed into your store. She never once even said welcome or thanks. Come on manager what is going on with customer service.
