So many empty shelves, a message to the store manager ; i understand it’s weekend , I understand some stock my sell fast but as a store a manger if you can not foresee that before hand then you are doing a bad job ! So disappointed!This is a better Walmart , at least they have hand sanitisers available for customers , but the empty shop drives me crazyNice clean , and the staff is helpful , Yalaki four stars but my message is clear for he manager

Walmarts are normally unfortunately weighed by reputation, and this one managed to live up to that reputation. First theres only one major entrance and exit unlike most Walmarts where you have two, the order pickup is in the back corner of the store, and compounding that problem is that the pick up group only works until 8:00 p.m., even though the rest of the store is open beyond that. Inside, when Im looking through the shelves, often boxes are damaged or pre-opened, which makes me less likely to buy anything even for a cheaper price.Want to get it delivered to your car? Online orders can be picked up from the zone just to the west of the entrance, even though its not well labeled. Calling the number, no one picked up and it went to a voicemail box that wasnt set up. However someone managed to call me back right after I changed parking spots in order to go in to pick up what I was going to pick up, and they eventually got it out to me to the right parking bay. The person who was talking on the phone didnt really talk clearly, but fortunately they brought out the right item. really not my type of style

Soooooo....Walmart is issuing these very sturdy plastic bags to their customers that are willing to pay .20 cents per bag. BUT, if you go through the self checkout/scan and go, whatever you want to call it, you wont find them at the registers. The bag holders are now empty at those registers and the employees are tasked with securing the bags and only issuing them to customers after they view their receipt to verify they paid for the bag(s). BRING YOUR REUSABLE BAGS PEOPLE! You will no longer be able to press 0 and use 15 bags at Walmart! 😆 🤣 😂

I placed an order for pick up with the intention to save time and not wonder through the store. It didn’t go as planned. It took me about 20 minutes to complete this task (I could’ve go in the store get the my stuff in less time). They have an designated area for pick up with a phone number to call. I called couple of times and never answered. I was the only one at that time around 10am. I went to customer service and got them to call somebody in pick up to bring my order.

The most peaceful Walmart Ive been to. Parking galore. Nice customer service. And no crowds to fight. Hope it stays this way.

Really packed at night nowadays and not 24/7 anymore. But still reliable for having everyday needs

They have a large variety of flex seal but I feel like it’s kind of old. I bought one of the small squeeze tubes and it’s very hard to squeeze. Almost like it’s been in the tube for like 2 years

Pickup can really use some work, workers look shocked when we ask them why are all the items loose when they bring out the totes when we pay for bags on every order.You would think that since they make you pay for bags they would bag up the items for you, but no instead of being pick up ready we have to sit there and bag up every single item every time we pick something up. Just have the items ready or don’t make us pay for bags.

I will never go to this Walmart again. Management should be ashamed to represent this store. The shelves were not stocked. They were bare. You had to go to the parking lot for a cart. There were no bags at checkout. What a disappointing visit. I will now have to get the items that were on my list from another store.

Store accosiates were very helpful, but was not able to get a mobile scooter which made shopping impossible.

Has good prices. Shelves not always stocked. Not all employees speak English.

Everything is locked away and no is available to open it. A quick stop turned into a 30 minute wait for some to open locked away items. Ridiculous. Everyone I ask to open it keeps telling me to wait they’ll call someone and no one shows up.

Its fine but it would be better if you restock some items. Im a toy collector and most of the toys are not even there. Every time i go there, some places are kinda empty.

Just tried to buy aspirin and they act like its gold. I stood there as they tried to put it into a plastic container for 10 minutes. I left without the aspirin or anything for that matter. Close this place already they never have full shelves the employees are very disrespectful. A parking lot in its place would be better or a park.

The employee working at the self checkout was EXTREMELY unhelpful!!!I had an item without a bar code, so I couldnt scan it. I mentioned it to the cashier and she said that she was busy and couldnt help me. Why did I have to ask he to call someone for help???? I dont know if she was having a bad day, but Ive worked in cust service for 13 years. When I wasnt able to help a customer, I asked a coworker for help.

I did the Walmart pick up. My fruits were completely rotten. I had to throw them out. & no one picks up the phone. Never coming here again. Teterboro is 1000% better. If you wouldn’t pick it for yourself, Don’t pick it for a customer.

Walmart has so many great things I need like bird food..sparkling ice water...toys..computer stuff ..PS4 and other system games

Bad customer service rude employees. Not helpful or knowledgeable about anything, even plastic bags. Left an entire shopping cart there, and will never shop at this location again.

PLEASE NOTE: Shoes and Clothes are not sold at this store on Sundays. They are either taped off or closed with obstacles.Other wise the employees are courteous and the store is fine.

Very big store, well stocked. They have biodegradable bags that are also reusable for all sorts of different reasons.

They sell expired salad. Their marketplace salad had (Aug 8) as expiration but the leaves were pink and the plastic was puffed. I took a chance and ate some. Threw up. I doubt Id get a refund even if i have most the salad still.

I was expecting to be able to get more than what I got... seems like theyre low in stock or maybe its just not the best Walmart to shop from.

A lot of the shelves i needed were bare. I guess it was a timing thing. Usually my experience is good. Wish they would add more cashiers though....lines get quite long.

The store has a variety of stuff it is super busy but they do try to restock as much as possible. The Walmart website is horrible they deliver half the items/groceries and take all your money

I wont be shopping at this Walmart no time soon. The Walmart at Gar Commons in NJ, had sections roped off. And customers were not allowed to purchase any of the items in ropedoff sections. There was no sign posted that explains why a customer could not purchase certain items on Sunday .Then when the order was made on line, there was nothing telling me that after 4pm. These items could not be picked up until the next day.Walmart needs to do better when customers are ordering items online and make the customer aware that any online orders placed after 4pm that the pick up wont be available until the next day.Those commercials you see same day delivery is false advertising.

This place is very big and they have almost everything. I was able to find all the things I needed to buy.

Some prices are great some are high... Good store..but downside is cousing closing the small businesses. Too crowded!!! Not enough cashiers even automated check out available!

Ive been very satisfied with grocery pickup, until the last 2 orders. The employee packing and getting my order ready is sending me the worst fruits and vegetables, the rotten items. If I am paying for a service and product, I would expect the quality to be great instead I am getting rotten tomatoes, rotten/frozen avocados and fruit that will likely go bad in a day. I wish employees getting the pickup order ready would pack items of great quality as shoppers would want to receive.

A surprising amount of unstocked shelves. Produce did not appear as fresh as the Secaucus Walmart.

I just got surprised about the amazing of customers in this store, there is a lot, but also I have seen some areas are with no products to sell ,the gondolas are empty, I think it is because the abundance of customers taking everything from the specific areas ,yogurts and bread are not found, that is what Ive seen

They rig all the self check out to cash only and on top of that very rude. Not helpful at all. Worst Walmart I’ve ever been too. They just need to start over at this point

The place is nice. However, if you come to this Walmart make sure you bring your own bags. After spending an hour shopping and when I went to check out I found out that they had no bags which I found to be so dissatisfying. They should have a sign by the entrance informing customers. I didnt like my experience shopping today.

I want to give WalMart in general a 1 star because no one ever responds or picks up at the store ever!!! And customer service is even worse. However Tommy at curbside pick up is amazing and hustling all deliveries by himself in 90 degree weather. Give the guy some support and a raise.

Nobody picks up the phone. It’s 9:50 AM and I’ve been trying to reach someone, ANYONE, for over half an hour. I tried different departments. I had to physically flag someone down at the store to communicate with anyone there. The gentleman who helped me, a pickup associate named Nicholas, was great. Maybe he should be promoted to manager of the store, since whoever is currently managing the store is clearly not doing their job.

I have been to this location a total of two times and a total of two times it has been disappointing. Want to get in and out? Not happening at this location. Need to be guided to something in an aisle from an employee? Not happening here I had to go through a total of three workers each time because either one they did not know English or they gave the wrong information. Also lots of people cluttering the aisle by no choice of their own because this location decides to have lots of stocking going on moving heavy equipment around that they can run into people with. They should save that for over night. Social distancing definitely not happening here 😒

WalMart need to set up signs by cash register,for customers not to get on line and expect other customers to have to move back because they were saving spot while family members shop for them whats in there hands should be what there allow to pay for, this would help with the fighting or getting into fights and would definitely would make WalMart 5 stars

Had everything I needed. Lines moved quick and the cashier was a doll. Her packing my groceries in the bag was on point. She took her time, boxes with boxes, soft stuff with soft stuff.

The store didnt have alot of items. It was dark and dinghy. No one spoke English very well. Getting help to find a item was a disaster. The lines went into the departments. I had to leave. I dont recommend the store to anyone who wants items on sale or just regular items. A clean store. People that can help you. Or short lines. I will never go back there.

Everytime I go food shopping here theres a very little to no inventory on a lot of the cold/ dairy food items no matter what time of the month it is.

Nice place for me because l like hand made l buy needle, yarn and fabric for my project, clothes for kids, toys and gluten free food.

Well stocked inventory, polite cashiers, however although parking was adequate there was an overabundance of traffic throughout the parking lot and to/fro the main entrance street. Id be wary with small children.

Love this location; lots of parking and the wide variety of merchandise makes this store is no brainer. I find everything I am looking for.

Vision center staff very helpful

Since I am now boycotting my local #ShopRite #NutleyShopRite because they wouldnt allow me to return a 5.99 childs mask I bought by mistake because it was mixed in with the adult masks, I can now justify shopping at Walmart as I no longer have a mom and pop grocery store to support (additionally, the management and the meat department staff are extremely snotty).I have to say the quality of the groceries is top notch, the app is great, and the grocery pickup is awesome. You pull up at a designated space and they put it in your car. I particularly like the Garfield store. Returns are easy, no questions asked. I just pray they treat their awesome employees well.

I thought I was wrong but it seems that something is wrong with their food theres been several times I bought food and it has expired in less than a week its not normal for all my juices and meat to get messed up in less than a week I have years shopping in other supermarkets and that has never happened to me. Their things arent coming in fresh fruits and everything Im honestly disgusted by this place..

The Garfield, NJ Location is never fully stocked on MANY items for months at a time. Also getting sales floor help, whether by call button, or having to seek associates across the store, is NOT a great experience. They flood shelves to fill empty spaces with overstock but dont change price tags accordingly, which by law then the items above the price must be honored, yet they will ignore that and have even ejected customers who argued that consumer law and right.
