Donuts, cookies, and ice cream.... seriously what can more can you want! Donuts sell out pretty quick in the morning but there always seem to be some cookies left in the evenings still when we go. The ice cream is top notch being Sylas & Maddys. Dont expect a huge selection of flavors like at their dedicated shops but still great ice cream.

These donuts are great. I love the fast in and out and the variety of donuts they have here. I would make sure to get there early if you want to get any with the sweet “white fluff” filling they have. Usually run out fast. I’d also recommend getting their seasonal peppermint donut while they have it.

Visited at 830am on a snowy & slick weekend morning to find the selection was down to about 15 total options. I needed a few dozen but I ended up getting what they had. I get home and grab a fritter (my favorite) to only find its the driest pastry Ive ever bit into... The rest of the donuts/doughnuts were the same. 😕

I came in and asked the young woman working if they carried any fruit flavors. I decided to get the Orange and Strawberry combination. It was delicious, reminded me of sherbet! That being said, it was a little concerning seeing that she was the only one working, especially during a rush. She seemed to be trying her best but I couldn’t help but feel bad. Shouldn’t there be someone there to help? Like another employee or a manager? It was clear that this girl was pretty new so it’s not possible that she would be a manager. If not for productivity, have another person working for safety. As if something were to happen or someone would fall and hurt themselves, there would be no immediate help until someone else were to come in. Improvements with management and how things are working could be improved but the worker was very nice!

Honestly as an avid donut eater and lover these are just not good. Idk man give it a try but I wasnt impressed and havent been back.

I called as soon as they opened so I could bring donuts in for my work and the girl behind the counter was so nice with helping me with my order. Very friendly and the donuts were delicious!

Showed up early (6:30 am) looking for some fresh donuts today. Completley disappointed, as the donuts looked and tasted like they were from the previous day. Daughter disliked them so much she only took 2 bites before asking if she could throw the rest away. Not the first time this has happened at this location. Last time I blamed it in myself showing up later in the morning.

Ice Cream was FANTASIC!! Great addition to Gardner to have Sylas and Maddies Ice Cream!However.... the girls behind the counter last night couldn’t stop talking and laughing to take our order. We expect to not be greeted by high schoolers working on a Saturday night but to ignore us once we had figured out what we wanted was annoying. It was to the point where we had to interrupt them to even order.

Donuts are NOT fresh such a huge disappointment considering they charge 9.99 a dozen at that price they should be fresh! What a sad way to do business! It was clean counter girl was nice! Donuts are NOT fresh or good!!! You would think with money being so tight and everything being so uncertain that if you have a business that still can operate in this trying time theyd at least be decent and fresh! So irritated I even wasted my familys money like this!!

I think its incredibly irresponsible to your customers and your staff to not enforce Gov. Kellys statewide mask provisions. This is not a large restaurant, there is not enough inside seating to effectively social distance without masks. Allowing costumers inside without a mask is irresponsible and immoral during a pandemic. Its not that hard, just put a sign up and refuse service to those who refuse to wear a mask.

Nice variety of doughnuts. Very clean, and spacious area. Get there early to have a better assortment to pick from. Very friendly. They have coffee, juice and milk. I love the cinnamon rolls and bear claws.

Great little shop. Definitely found a morning stop today. Very kind and helpful and food is stellar. Have had donuts and sausage rolls. The sausage is my favorite. If you have a chance stop in. Its worth it.

Cinnamon roll was stale ,no cinnamon was even on this roll. Not even edible! Try Mr.Ds Donuts if you really want good donuts!

They have a great selection, the case was well stocked. Love their apple fritter, thin and crispy, the old fashion were so fresh, maple nut roll was huge and yummy. The (owner?) gentleman who waited on me was super nice. He has a beard.

Delicious caramel long john and wonderful person who waited on me. They serve Roasterie coffee, so I thought I was in for a nice treat, but no. It was as weak as tea and tasted kinda strange. Horrible. I like coffee WITH my donut or pastry so that was a huge disappointment!

The variety of doughnuts 🍩 is good. They sell delicious, premium Rotisserie coffee.

This shops service is under par to say the least. Members of the staff were lounging on Costmer table right when we walk in the door. The products have the same story as well. If you are looking for a very small selection of donuts this is your place, but if you want anything other then the normal glazed or chocolate long john I recommend the local gas station donuts instead. In addition to the limited selection the donuts themselves are 1/4 of the size of what they used to be.

Not always open till 11, or 10 some days. I understand business gets slow but I wonder how many people get turned away.On the other hand its worth trying. The donuts rock, and the people are very nice.

Hard to find quality, friendly service at 6am, yet this place definitely top-notch. Violet was very pleasant.

Around 1040 am on Saturday they will sell mixed dozens for half price but its only when they are close to selling out so you have to be there first and not be picky.

Although my diet limits me from donuts, my kids love the donuts at Daylight Donuts. We typically get there early to guarantee a good fresh selection.

The selection was very minimal, but what they had was tasty and fresh!

Nice people who work here. I believe most of them are family. The OWner is very nice and you will see him there working most mornings. They make the best donuts around and you can tell that they care about the quality and taste and look of their donuts.My wife loves the sausage and gravy i stick to the donuts myself. ONly issue is sometimes they sell out early. But like the owner said its hit and miss. Sometimes you think your going to be busy and you make allot and then you never sell all by the end of the day and other times you make them and your sold out before 10Am.YOU CANT GO WRONG with daylight in Gardner. If we ever move out of Gardner i will drive back here just to get my donuts on saturdays.

I went to the Lansing and Leavenworth stores or years but have moved to Lenexa.The woman working the counter on Friday April 3rd 2015 was about the rudest person I have ever seen! She rushed you the whole time and stated ...I have a line waiting . If a shop is that busy there should be more than one person working the counter. There are many other places in the area to get donuts you should try them in stead
