We went in not knowing what we wanted and that’s when Glenn confronted us and let us try out a few beds. First he asked what we was looking for and our budget and he stuck to what we asked for. He didn’t try to pressure us into anything we didn’t want to get. He helped us a lot on picking out our new mattress and we can’t wait to get it! We had the best experience today! Kristy at the Gardendale AL location was awesome! We just bought a used camper a couple of days ago and had to have a new mattress. She was so knowledgeable of all the mattresses we asked about. We also bought the mattress pad, sheets and pillow combo! I am in the market for a new mattress... Finally not so limited by finances(which was the case in the past), I am looking forward to being able to purchase one I really want. Ive stopped at a few stores recently with this in mind and left no closer to a purchase or even knowing for sure what I wanted. Until today, when I stopped at Mattress Firm in Gardendale. The manager there, Brian, was so helpful. He took the time to show me all my options, giving me a chance to really discover what I want in a mattress. The prices were very reasonable also. I will definitely be back to purchase from him. And I would recommend anyone looking for both great prices and service to shop there as well.

Sales associate really wasnt interested in selling me a mattress. Told me he only had one mattress that didnt have a white top but i saw 4 more. I was staring at a gray one when he said it and passed a black one on the way out. He wasnt engaging and exhibited little knowledge of the mattresses. What a Pity.

I bought a couple beds for my daughters several days ago. Bryan K. was able to quickly explain which sales were going on and was able to make the mattresses, frames, and boxsprings fit in my budget. Being able to work with someone that was attentive to my needs and didnt act like a car salesman. I wish all sales people were as knowledgeable, fast, helpful and funny.

I am absolutely in love with my new mattress. The service is hit or miss because theres only one person working in the store, but theyre very helpful when theyre with you. The delivery team was exceptional. There was one little, literal, snag in the delivery. The guys lay the mattress down on an exposed bolt because the top half of the posts of my 4 poster bed hadnt been installed. Poked a hole right in the middle of the bottom of the mattress. It was a total accident and they brought out another new mattress a few days later. I wouldve accepted it with the hole if they had discounted it, but with only one person working in the store, I got aggravated about the wait and told them to just send me a new mattress and forget the discount. I paid for a new, undamaged, mattress and thats what I got. Their prices are in line with most companies. Id buy there again.

I was optimistic when I walked through the door, I knew what I wanted and needed, but what I didnt know is what they had or recommended based on my needs. This is where the representative came in. He was nice, attentive both to my needs and desires as well as to other customers too, polite and kind and to the point. Wasnt pushy on sales and knew that being available and letting me test and make a decision was most important. After asking for advice on certain aspects he was able to provide it and examples quickly. Yes Id recommend this store to anyone looking for a bed of any type!
