Could not have been more thrilled that I chose Film Logic as my customs broker. I was sending a shipment from Bali and needed assistance last minute and they were incredibly on top of it. It was my first time shipping a large order oversees and I had tons of questions. They answered me at all hours (and even on a Holiday weekend) and always calmed my nerves. They are very professional, responsive and great to work. Highly recommend them!

Marlene was fantastic in helping to get a shipment through Customs when the proper documents hadnt been filed by the shipper. She addressed my concerns very quickly and sent updates regularly. I highly recommend this company!

Very fast and extremely detail oriented. They were very clear in communicating all of the potential issues, and helped us find work arounds. They helped turn something that could potentially have been challenging into an easy turn key operation. High marks.

Stay away from this company if you want to work with reasonable and professional people.Pay careful attention to their quote. I noticed the If Applicable Waiting time $65/hr and when I asked them to clarify, they only mentioned that it has to do with the time they have to wait to pick up my cargo, but did not mention at all that it also applied to the time they take to bring the cargo inside the house.Fast forward, on the day delivery to our place, when the driver came, he asked me where to put the shipments, at that time, he did not mention it will be an extra charge $100 + $65 for each hour. If I have known that, I would have brought them in by myself. After he brought the shipments in, about 20 minutes later, I called the company and told them that the driver is here and Ms. Marlene (the representative) informed me that it will be $100 to bring inside and if after one hour there will be an additional charge of $65. At this time, he was halfway done so I let him continue.So base on my understanding, it will be $100 for bringing the items inside and an additional $65 extra if more than 1 hour. However, that was not the case. They charged $100 plus $65 because the driver took 50 minutes to bring it inside. I didn’t know that they will charge an arm and a leg for every little thing. I thought the delivery fee they charged were already included in the quote, but I guess not. Ok, so I agreed to pay for $165 fees. But that was not the end.The driver left 2 pallets (the wood parts on the bottom of the shipments so it will be easier to carry by the lift gate) and they charged me $50 for these pallets, which I never wanted in the first place. But instead of listening to what the customers had to say, they, Marlene and Ashley (the VP of the company), said the driver told them that I wanted it. We never that discussion! In fact, it was very hard to communicate to him at all because he spoke very little English. He just left them there and drove off. Why would I want the pallets for? I don’t need them. I asked them to come pick them up otherwise I have to break them apart in order to throw them in the dumpster.After further discussion with Asley, he insisted in a very rude tone that I must pay $50 if I cannot bring the pallets back to them. Why do I have to pay for their mistake? This is outrageous!Film Logic Ocean proceeded to just use my credit card on file and charged me the entire $221 extra fee ($215 + 3% cc) without my authorization. This is unacceptable.Beware when you give them your Credit Card information, if you still want to do business with them after reading my review, make sure to pay them by check.I can’t believe any company would allow a Vice President to be so rude and unprofessional to their customers like that. I hope youll have better luck than me and find broker that actually respect their work and their customers.
