I recently lost my 3 year old hamster, so came here to purchase a new one. The guy let me take 2 for a really great price which was so exciting for me. He told me they’d be okay being housed together, but the first night I had them they were fighting. I had to separate them right away. Now, a week later, both hamsters got really sick and died. They may be a great breeder, but I’d use caution when purchasing hamsters here.

This is a fish centric review. I keep fish, I know about fish, trust this review only in regards to fish.Small selection of good, interesting fish. The fish do not seem to be in great health, but very standard for a mixed pet shop. I will note that they sell a number of oddball shape and size tanks for fair prices, and stands for honestly good prices.

I went yesterday to buy a turtle and the lady who attended me was very polite. I dont remember her name but she was very helpful, she helped me with my items.

I just love the fact that they are always open. There is not many pet shops that carry live mice with great hours. Its always a fast experience with no waiting. Pricing is below other places I used in the past... they dont charge for the container they place the mouse in. No issues with customer service. Always plenty of help avaliable. Great variety of supplies. Plenty of parking in front and back. Close to the 110 freeway access.

They have a wide variety of everything you need for your pet and they ALWAYS do a good job on grooming our lil Bella

This is my go to place. Both location. Ive gotten all my animals from them for the pass few years. Recently weekly. Yesterday new hair same face. Came thru the back door like always. Noticed it happened before but never would i ever think it was for me. Now i usually come and look @ all they have because it tends to go fast. But love to look. I come in had to go around but dont mind. By then they put the trash can blocking the door. Granted others was there but again after i entered. I hate to think it but i hate more to be treated as if. This is not my first post about them but maybe my last. The respect level of some places is just not there. I spend and spend. Maybe i just need to go where me and my money is respected. Im over it. Do better as i move forward. Advice #petNjoy DO UNTO OTHER AS YOU WANT DONE UNTO YOU.

I have no trouble with them ... I usually groom my dog there and from time to time they do good not great but not bad either. But today was just a no, they hurt my dog and they did not inform me. Now my dog has been sick for 1 week and won’t get out of bed and I just notice they cut his skin. I wish they would at least tell me they accidentally cut him instead of keeping it a secret.

I had a horrible experience with the groomers. I have been coming to this location for several years. It was called Hill Pet and Feed. Never had a problem with the grooming services then. I believe it’s under new ownership. Well I took my dog there now called Pet N Joy, to be groomed last weekend and the groomer cut my dog’s paw. They never said anything when I picked her up. I get her home and I notice blood all over my hard wood floors and kitchen floor. I pick her up and her paw is bleeding badly. I called store and they claimed they didn’t know until she left. I can’t believe that they didn’t know how bad they cut her. I’m sure she had to wince or whine when she was cut. They didn’t apologize. Just a horrible experience and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I hadnt been there in years and to my surprise.. they changed the name. I was feeling low so I went to see if they still sold puppies and they dont! I was referred to the animal shelter and my fear is they wont have what Im looking for on my journey to a small furry champion dog.

Actually this should be 5 stars but today 10/3 was not a good day. I’ve had my dog groomed there several times and they’ve done a GREAT JOB! But today was horrible I had an AM appointment and did not get my dog back until 4:30 and I was only the 3rd? Person to show up ...I had only 2 real request make sure his weenie was real clean from hair, when I picked him up still matted hair around it, they said she was not the normal person, so next time I will ask for the regular person!!! Sorry Pet N’Joy I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!

Ok place to shop for pet needs.

Good place for your local pet needs. Choices are basic to somewhat exclusive/unique. Not so much the typical Petco but they might have what Petco doesnt. -Under new management. Really cool employees tho. They also sell amphibians/reptiles and their food and accessories. They also groom in the back of the store. All in all, good store to handle your pet needs with a large variety of products. 5/5 for: -product variety -employee customer service -fare prices -and what I call one-stop-shop versatility. Great for a variety of multi-pet needs.

Ive been a reptile and arachnid fan since I was around 3 years old, Im now 40 and have started a collection and the best place Ive went to in my many years of going from shop to shop has been PetnJoy. Not only have my exotics come from them but also my enclosures as well as my decor. Its a 1 stop shop, EVERYTHING you need is here. I go in for feeders and find my self in deep conversation with the staff and next thing you know its time to purchase a new friend. Very customer friendly staff clean inviting environment and healthy animals.

Prices are somewhat decent but the store is incredibly dirty with animal droppings, food and wood shavings everywhere throughout the floors. Very unorganized.I was holding a bunny & I smelled urine. At first I thought it was the bunny, I placed it up against my nose and didnt smell anything. I looked next to me & noticed on of the staff members near me. IT WAS HIM! The guy working there reeked of urine & sweat. Very gross.

Always have what u need and always quick in an out, u just seem to pay a lil more.

They care more about $ than making sure the animals they sell go to well informed homes. I had to rescue my turtle from a sad situation because of their indifferent attitude towards informing their customers about responsibilities towards a hatchling. I hope these jerks grow a heart.

I always come here for pet supplies, I bought 3 dogs from here and they are still happy healthy and thriving. Recently I heard that they don’t sell pups anymore because of the laws which sucks but the staff is always very helpful and the grooming service is the BEST and I trust them with my babies!!

The employees are very helpful and extremely friendly. I visit the shop every other week to play wit the animals. They have a wide variety of fish, lizards and frogs. And every single time I visit I learn something new. Pet N Joy is a wonderful shop!

This place will be better once its finished installing there fish tanks and have live fish for sale but I came here because they had the Disney Frozen Betta fish tank, pretty cool fish tank for my daughter for Christmas, they also have SpongeBob, Dory and finding Nemo.
