We just got bagels from here. Due to our dietary restrictions, we asked the server (older guy) to change his gloves. While changing the new glove fell on the floor. He picked up the one that fell on the floor and started wearing it. My wife then pointed out that it fell on the floor and in disgust he replaced it again. Total disregard despite when the costumer can see him. Never going here again.

My first everything bagel was a poppy seed bagel all burnt out !!! I have to go back to get a next one with butter n jelly. Guess what hardly any butter on the bagel n scanty grape jelly. A buttered bagel n coffee...$ 5.00 ??? Am I gonna go back there ??? Nah...not for a long time,👎🖐️ may be NEVER,,🤗

FOOD [2/5]: Apparently not all of NY knows how to do bagels. The bagels were flimsy, not toasted, and just lacked that bite you typically get from a good bagel. Our order was also incorrect but we didnt bother to ask for a fix because of the terrible service.SERVICE [1/5]: A tip to the cashier/manager - do NOT yell at your staff and publicly shame them if theyre doing something wrong; take a breath and chill out. Wildly unprofessional and chaotic. The staff were arguing with each other and not paying attention to what customers were actually ordering, causing even more stress when clarification was needed.VIBE [3/5]: There wasnt space inside to sit, which was good because Im sure no one wanted to be inside with all that chaos. Outside was nice; there were a few tables on the sidewalk where you can enjoy the otherwise peaceful street and do some people watching. This was honestly the only good part about this visit.

Terrible experience…I ordered 2 plain bagels the same way…turkey bacon.. I got something completely wrong. They asked me to reconfirm my order 4 times and they still managed to get it all wrong. I would suggest going to My 3 sons for a better experience than this.

Terrible. I asked for a Turkey Melt with bacon and mayo. Key words melt. No mayo cold turkey. The guys that handle the register also handle the food and dont change gloves. There were flies on the bagels. Ended up not eating the food. Waste of money.

Good bagel place, with a fair amount of other sandwiches in a convenient spot. I usually go here for bagels, and theyre solid quality. The flavored spreads are awesome though; I love the olive cream cheese while my girlfriend loves the strawberry (made with real fruit). Very little wait time with the option to call ahead and pick up.

My order took forever, and did not taste very good. A simple bagel with egg and cheese had me waiting 20 minutes while everyone and their mother walked in after me and left before me. When they finally remembered my order, it appeared that they hadn’t even started it. To top it off, when I got home, the order was wrong (they gave me the wrong cheese) and tasted dry and bitter. The muffin was quite old and stale. One positive thing, the person who took my order was polite. Overall very disappointing experience, especially since it’s one of the more pricey bagel establishments in the neighborhood.

The rainbow bagel looked super cool but really didnt taste great. Good salmon and cream cheese though.

This place is always clean, friendly, and has everything youd want in a bagel store. Their bagels are always fresh, their salads are amazing (macaroni salad is awesome) and the lunches are just as good. Has been a staple in town and look forward to going back every weekend.

Great service! They are taking good precautions and have plenty of outdoor seating available. Service was quick and friendly. They have a nice selection of teas, coffee, and bagels to choose from as well as sandwiches and other lunch foods.

Their sandwiches are sooo good. I wish they didnt close so early I would eat here everyday. They dont answer the phone so youll have to go in - but its worth it!

Ordered a bagel sandwich with lox and scallion cream cheese, but they made it with plain cream cheese. Pretty annoying considering I specified scallion a few times because the worker asked a few different times while making it. When I brought it back and pointed out the error they just scraped the plain cream cheese off and replaced it with scallion instead of making a fresh sandwich. They used a small amount of cream cheese and only put it on one side instead of both which is a real cheapo move. Overall the bagel was fine but this is New York and the bar is very, very high. Wouldn’t recommend.

Came to NYC with a definite desire to find a great bagel shop and we found it at Bagelman, Garden City. A bit tight on seating space but for the reason that there is typically a line waiting to get the great bagels and other fare. The rye bagels are so good. Would have loved to try other flavors but kept going back for the rye. Took some home as well. If you like bagels, this is a great place to stop. Their french toast looked pretty good as well.

Was in town for a wedding and ate breakfast there 2 days in a row. The mexiwrap and bagel breakfast sandwiches were on point. The seasoned potatoes are a must. Great food, great price, great service. Go early because it got busy both days.

Fresh toast was dry , fruit looked old , Hungryman hero was okay but the bread was not great quality. Service was okay but the food isnt worth the price.

I would have given the place 5 stars if it wasnt for the staff there. Its really a shame too; the food is decent and the prices are generally reasonable. However, do NOT ask them how they do their pricing, else you will get yelled at. Their menu is not written out very well thus you have to sometimes inquire. They act like you are putting them out when you are nice to them. And, they do not have price tags on anything in the coolers or on the shelves. BE WARNED, this is where they make their money. You are better off walking down to the natural market on the corner and getting your drinks there. Really, really need better customer service!

I dont know why anyone likes this place or how it even stays in business. The workers who must not understand English do not listen to how you want things cooked. I plainly tell them to toast it well done and to burn it and I will tell them I am serious about wanting it burnt and when it comes out it is soggy and barely even warm. The bagels are barely better than a frozen lenders bagel. Waist of money and a waist of time even going in there.

Ive taken way too long to write this review... Ive worked in the area for about 4 years now and this is my first choice to visit at least twice every week... It is consistently delicious and I can always expect the staff and Owner to greet me with a warm welcome! I have to definitely praise my go-to here Neri, who always goes above-and-beyond to make sure my wrap and salads are always to my liking. Great staff, yummy food and outstanding attention, every time. Nothing like consistency

Poor customer service. I got ignored because I was standing where the line didnt start. The girl only looked at me several times and took a man that came in way after me. No sign saying where the line started. When I told the man that I was waiting and he cut me he picked a fight with me. The worker had the nerve to say the line starts over there instead of apologizing. I cant tell you how their food is because I walked out and I will never know. If you want to be treated like scum this is the place for you.

I ordered the steak, eggs and home fries for breakfast and I was a bit disappointed! However, I must say that after calling and voicing my disappointment to a rep from bagelman he asked how he could make it better and did accommodate me. The food is good but they made me wait for 10 to 15 just to pick up my order that i called for 30 mins before even going there. They would see me standing there and not even ask me what was it that i wanted. the workers are super slow and careless. The food was good though but not worth it.

Used to love coming to this place until I watched them touch the money then prepare the food with the same gloves... its really disgusting to watch the lady there count money for the customer in front of me and then say next without changing her gloves... who knows how long they havent changed them... stay away from this unsanitary place!!!!!!

One of my favorite places to grab a breakfast sandwich. They also have a killer Arnold Palmer, or Mixer as its locally known here.

Whoever takes orders on Sunday is not a friendly person he doesnt listen to the order rushes you off the phone then tells you that your wrong on what you ordered and will still charge you for the correction never plan on getting good here again such a bad experience getting breakfast this morning out of all days SMH very disappointing the food that was delivered correctly was good but the order for delivery process this morning the person has absolutely no customer service etiquette What so ever

I have had ALOT of bacon egg and cheese on a roll from dozens of places. This is the BEST place I have ever gotten a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. I dont know what they put in it but its literally heaven on a roll. Not kidding. No matter where I go, no one comes close to bagelman. I honestly dont get it.

The food is good but the line is always crazy long and not worth the wait. The staff in general seems pretty unorganized because the line just doesnt actually move at all for long periods of time.

I stop by to get some coffee . I cream with sugar, but the one of the worker put milk instead of cream please listen to the customer.
