Store management could try a more professional approach toward their employees by not talking down to them. Its bad enough when theyve done it to me but when they do it to their own employees in front of the customers thats when I have a problem. As a store to shop in I feel its a great value and it would be better if they would have the shelves stocked where they should be. Were not having hurricane and not in any kind of emergency situations where the store shelves should not be stocked.

I went there to purchase some fall items for my office and I accidently lost my receipt and I went back to get another copy but the manager was being rude and I told her what the total price range my total was and she gave the wrong one and I told her if she can try 1 more and she said she didnt have all day to print out receipt and that I had to get out. 1. I wasnt being rude or anything. 2 The workers there dont seem to like their job or are very rude. If you dont like people then why work in customer service business. Also I would understand if it was really busy but it wasnt busy at all they had 3 registers open. Just very upsetting when I walked in from.

The kindest workers you will meet. Everyone working today was so sweet and very accommodating. They all made sure that you were doing alright and took good measures to make sure everything is perfect. The store had a lot surprisingly and even ice and packs of water for people visiting Galveston (or for even residents, I guess. 😂)

Always under stocked, under staffed and the old man who is a manager I guess is rude every time. He never says excuse me or anything. I dont even go often anymore.

Best place to go if you are limited on money everything is for a dollar everything May be non brand name but you get what you can afford at the moment and its easy to access the cashiers are Great they will help you if you need it if something and its not on the shelf just ask them if they have it in the back friendly as can be

Store nice and stocked well this visit. They just added 2 PLUS isles with $3 and $5 items. I got this for$5 !!!...

Wow! Gross. Floor has never been picked up or swept, and certainly never mopped. Every aisle has empty packaging shoplifters left but staff never picked up. Food packages which have been opened, partially consumed, and left. Every bin and shelf has clutter from 3 aisles over - just dumped. Floor is sticky from what I assume to be the candy which adolescent shoplifters spat out. The sunglass rack - the reason I went in - has childrens only. On the plus side, the clerk was nice.

Opens at 8 am, and its 8:45 am, lights are on, but doors are still locked, no sign on the door, and no one answering their phone. No one came when we knocked.

Clean, very spacious, good service, found the items I need, and location is perfect especially near seawall..

Its your average dollar store but since its the only one stock is gonna come and go.

A cashier named Heather I believe, made it a great shopping experience. She directed me to items that were impossible to find. After doing so I was rang up in record time. Best of all she wore her Covid mask the entire time and made sure there was social distancing between customers in line. THANK YOU HEATHER

Heather needs to find a new job. There were 7 people ahead of me in Allisons line and she was doing awesome. Heather on the other hand had her mask down and walked past everyone making sure that she didnt greet or help anyone while she escaped out of sight. She should be fired.

It’s okay! Rating it okay because we have a lot more innovatory in ours in KC. We bought sunglasses, snacks and water for the beach. Our daughter bought a water bottle and it broke as soon as we left.

The store is a mess. Inventory in boxes every where. Corporate needs to step in and take over the store. Its a safety hazard for employees and the public who shop hete.

I would personally like to thank Cashier Heather for the wonderful shopping experience. I am 60 years old and disabled. If it wasnt for her I would not have got my shopping done for the items I need daily to live with my disablity. She also directed a young gentleman to help see that the groceries were put in my car without any problems. I have a difficult time walking. Store in Galveston is the dirtiest store I have ever been in. Shelves are empty of regular items all the time. Dollies with full boxes in every isle. But stuff not on the shelve. The floors are so dirty you hate to even walk on it. Horrible. Looks like a hurricane hit. And there has not been a hurricane. Im forced to go off island for a decent dollar tree. Someone from corporate should come give them a surprise visit.

Where should I start ? If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the worse Dollar Tree Store Ive EVER been to and trust me Ive been to plenty even was a manager at one . Im extremely disappointed. Whoever is on the freight team is definitely not doing their jobs . How are you going to generate revenue with empty shelves . I went in four times in one week and walked around this store and found that they barely have merchandise stocked all the time. The workers seems slow paced and unfriendly . You can tell corporate obviously doesnt visit this location. Galveston has many tourists and Im sure theyre looking forward to bringing gifts home. Try training the staff to stock the merchandise . Do better please !!!

This store has MAJOR ISSUES and is always under stocked.When you pay minimum wage, work people to death (because you cant keep help), and expect high level work for the minimum wage you are paying, that is what you get! Too bad for customers though.

Of average cleanliness, but overcrowded store. Especially in a time of a pandemic.

The cashiers are nice and courteous, and they do their very best to be helpful to customers. The store is itself is junky and unorganized. Dollar Tree on the mainland is worth the trip. It is clean, organized, and has more name brand items.

It was horrible nothing was placed in the right spot

We have shopped here since they came to town. Always a good place until the last six months and it has been terrible. Empty stock all over the stiore, stockers standing in the aisles and playing with their phones or just talking back and forth, ignoring the customers trying to get by. Thought it might improve after the holidays but I was wrongWhy keep going in when things dont get restocked! But your cashiers are nice and do their job well. Please clean this store up so we feel like shopping there again.

This location is huge although the cashier told me the one in Texas City is larger. They carry the same items as the other Dollar Tree stores but a larger variety.

Understaffed at check out. One cashier on Thanksgiving weekend. Long line. Need more lanes open. Staff was friendly which was good. Also shelves were bare. Probably aftermath of Black Friday....but they didnt have cashiers or people stocking shelves. That was not good.

Ive shopped at Dollar Tree, in a variety of cities, for years. But, I have to say, the Galveston location is by far the filthiest, most poorly stocked and disorganized excuse for a store Ive ever visited.Ive shopped at this store 5 times since April, the 4th time last week and the 5th this week. The parking situation isnt great, but thats no fault of the store. But the store should be able to control the panhandler standing just to the right of the door. No one wants to be hit up for money walking in and out of the store.After the experiences last week and this week, I wont be back to this location. Ive never seen so many empty pegs and shelves. And the product that remained was disheveled and disorganized. The endcaps made no sense and product was just heaped on.The really sad thing was that there were boxes stacked all over the store. And guess what? The same boxes that were in the aisles the other day, were there on my next visit.There were a number of people in line when I walked in today but, by the time I was ready to check out, the cashier was just leaning against a counter doing nothing. In my retail past, if you had time to lean you had time to clean.Whoever is running this store better start working some overnights to clean up this mess because its a reflection of their poor management.

We accidentally let our cell phone at the store. They found our phone and put it to the side. Thank goodness no one toke it.

This is a large dollar tree. I was able to pick up everything I was looking for to compliment our vacation stay, from salt and pepper to an improvised step stool for my daughter.

Good prices and large selection. Check out is very slow, so be prepared to wait

Bad customer service and Adel made a smart comments when I asked him for help finding a product and they always just have one register open no matter how many customers are in there. I only go here because its the only one in Galveston but if there was another one. I would stop going here.
