Just finished a kitchen remodel with Floor Rio. Ray was wonderful to work with. Quality products, top workmanship. He was there everyday. His excitement and level of enthusiasm everyday you would have thought it was his kitchen. Never skimped went above and beyond. My wife’s favorite saying during the project was.... it’s like Christmas everyday. Thank you Ray for making our dreams become a reality. A special thanks to Jose and his crew.

I had looked at several places and was unimpressed with their quality and selection, then I came to Floor Rio. They have a wide selection of quality and stylish products. Their selections makes Lowes/Home Depot stuff look so inferior. Then I was worried about price, maybe it was too high end for me. However, after talking to Ray, the owner of the store, we were able to get the high end stylish look I wanted for a reasonable price. The installation was incredible. I can not say enough positive things about this store, definitely recommend.

Floor Rio Abbey Carpet is a great flooring store located in Kentlands MD. Ray, the owner is very helpful. He carries a great selection of high end flooring and provides installation. We have used his services for over 25 years.

My husband and I shopped around for a quality hardwood floor to use in our first floor renovation. After going to a few different lumber wholesalers (since I already had a contractor that would be doing the installation), I decided to check out Floor Rio Abbey in the Kentlands. By that time, I was interested in Mirage and I met Ray when I walked into the store. He allowed me to take samples home and was very easy to work with and provided a fair price. I will definitely be back to this store in the near future with my additional flooring needs.

I first found this company 3 years ago when we needed to gut and renovate an apartment. Our realtor, Jeremy Rosenthal (wonderful) recommended I work with Ray Tabarzadi, the owner of Rio Abbey. Rays business has been around in Kentlands forever; its a small mom & pop that he runs with his wife. Both of them are lovely, kind, helpful, and so nice! You cannot imagine that working on a renovation - which is stressful - could be so easy. Ray helped me with selections for the kitchen, bathrooms, and carpet. And he made it turn-key for me.Now, we are renovating 2 bathrooms in our home and also redoing the carpet. I got 4 estimates but I knew I was going to use Ray. Not only is his pricing very fair and reasonable, the best part is working with someone with integrity and who I trust will get the job done well and on time.
