The staff are always so incredibly friendly and helpful! Only reason I still go in person to shop instead of online, I know Im getting what I want and need, and I get great recommendations for other products without feeling like Im being pushed to buy

I had a good experience at this Sallys store today. I purchased an item on line and brought it into this location for a return as it was not what I expected per my purchase. At first, the cashier stated she did not think she could proceed but she tried to see how she could help as I showed her my electronic receipt from my online purchase.After speaking with the manager and once she verified my purchase from my email, she proceeded to ask me if I wanted to exchange it for something in store or receive a store credit. I opted for the store credit as I am a frequent shopper. This ended positively as the manager ensured me that its a different system but she was willing to help in anyway she can as its the store brand.In addition to this experience, about 6 months ago, a salesperson recommended a product which I love. She listened to what I was looking for and recommended the KeraCare Silken Seal Liquid Sheen. It is really a good fit for me and worth the price although a bit pricey.

I came in with awful hair dye stain on the lower section of my hair, and the two people working there helped me fix the problem with such ease!! There was one with blue/purple hair who led me to exactly what I needed and walked me through the process and I’m super duper happy with the results and how easy it was (I have such awful luck with my hair). The other associate with brownish reddish hair helped me pick out dye and bleach as well, and rang me out super quickly. My new fav sally beauty 🥰🥰

Tried to make a return of new products bought same day at a different store. Ladies at the counter refused to help me. They wanted to take the products back but the computer was charging me for a free gift i received in store. Zero customer service, they said they cant do anything, I will not waste my money in this business anymore

The employees make you feel like your stealing:( The “hello, how are are you?” Is so forced to make sure your not a crazy person. And they will always be around you to make sure your not stealing! Makes me feel super uncomfortable!!

Store is clean and organized, and staff members are friendly and helpful. Also knowledgeable, I came in without a clue and a staff member set aside her task to talk me through it and help me find what I needed. Wish I got her name!

I cannot be happier! on saturday me and my mom came in to this sally beauty on the spur of the moment after browsing pinterest for new hair ideas for her. we decide on incorporating red in to her naturally black hair, that she regularly dyes the roots on. not having a clue, we were walking in blind and browsing the isles. a worker there, joanna, nicely approached us and asked if we needed help, my mom usually to stubborn to ask for help declines but a few moments later i asked her to come back over. happy to oblige joanna spent about 30 minutes of her time listening to what i and my mom’s expectations and desires were of her hair and recommending multiple great options!! by no means am i a makeup artist or hairstylist so the advice was so super helpful! she recommended the different products we needed for a new healthy look without any pushy extras and took her time showing us where everything was located! now i did used to avoid this specific beauty supply because i had grown up going to this one and knew this particular store was usually a disaster, mostly due to it’s location, but i definitely will stick to this sally’s beauty in hopes of seeking joanna’s help in the future. she’s a prime example of how great employees can really turn a store around! thank you for your wonderful service and my mom’s beautiful end result that i was able to provide!:)

I almost didnt go to this Sallys because of the bad reviews. I was there yesterday and everyone was friendly. I was carrying some thing I was gonna buy and I was offered a cart. When I got to the cashier she was really friendly and helpful. I have no complaints on this store.

I am not sure about why everyone else had a bad experience but Customer service was great!A lovely lady helped me find the right dye for my hair because my first attempted failed.She went step by step and repeated her self with me..she was patient with me and told me to come back for the results. I am not sure if the other ladies talked to other employees but this one was awesome! I cant wait to show her my results.I know her name began with a D and she had short hair..she was working today about 1-3pm

One of the ladies there was very nice but the other lady was extremely rude. There was a spill on the ground and she rudely said did you guys do this and we did not. After we walked away another lady asked her what happen as she was wiping up the spill and she said the two young girls did it, and didnt even tell me blaming us for what we didnt do. Treating paying customers like that is completely unacceptable and we will never be going back to this Sallys ever again. Contacting manager

Employees at this location are just as RUDE as a person can get! they dont acknowledge you when you walk in. They dont say hello even as theyre checking you out at the register. A monkey could do a better job and be more courteous!!!

Very rude employees. All of them act as if they dont want to be there and they take their anger out on the customers. Ive been yelled at and accused of stealing by a woman who works there named Pam. Shes accused some of my coworkers, family and friends as well. I went to the beauty store thats in the mall and had a great conversation about it with another customer who had a similar situation as mine. Apparently Pam treats everyone badly. Just because Pam probably steals doesnt mean she needs to accuse others. She also has an issue with gossiping on the sales floor in front of customers. She spoke very poorly of the manager, Rosalind. Saying some pretty disgusting things. As a retail manager this store makes me sick

Ill never go back here , the girl ( joanna )was working there yesterday was extremely rude and unknowable , I bought the dryer a day before and went there to return one of the employees was accepted and this crazy girl just jumped there and start yelling at me and told me we dont accept the electronic device. Its stores policy !?Anyway I went to germantown store she was so sweet and said its ok Ill do it for you she call the other store to get my information joanna starts saying stuff over the phone again , I dont know what is wrong with her but she is not normal. Ill call the manager too .

The customer service at this location is inexcusably horrible. I have never seen customers, including myself, treated so badly. Today, my daughter and I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to the register so we could pay for our products. An employee saw us standing there and instead of helping us walked to the back of the store and went into a back room. There wasnt another customer in the store that she could have been helping. Finally, another employee came into the stores front door and yelled to the back that there was a customer waiting. The lady in the back yelled that she knew we were there. No apology for making us wait. This is not my first bad experience with this location. Several of the employees have attitudes with the customers. They treat them like they are stupid or an inconvenience. They are rude to their children and will ask questions like can you speak English? when the children dont answer their insipid questions. Maybe this is the only type of employee you can get to work at this location, but I will be looking elsewhere for my beauty supplies.

This location forget about employes but customer are rude to.. Just today I was in line for good 5 min .. And this lady cut in line.. And said I was in line but I left.. Coming back after 5 min or more Minute.. While other customer is trying to move forward.. ( if she was in line n I had physically since her I would have let go off this ) but she was not in line) while this other lady had come to counter paid for it and I was behind her .. Thats when this lady try to cut in front of me.. I m sure even employers didnt no what to say.. They actually smile at me .. Very rude behavior from customer and employer.. So glad I just left n didnt give money to this type of store..

Today, not a holiday, they closed a full hour early. They are supposed to close at 6 on sundays, and today they closed at 5. They lost about 6+ costumers other than myself within the 10 minutes I was waiting there for any workers to see that they had locked the door, but it was no mistake, they decided to close up early just because. Not only that, but all of the workers dont know about any products within the store or what they carry (i.e: names, advice, colors, locations of where theyre placed, what theyre supposed to do) so theyre just not helpful at all. Also, theyre so rude to their customers! And if youre working in costumer service no matter how rude or annoying a customer is, youre supposed to just do your job and at least just put a fake smile on, or else no one will want to partake in any sort of buisness with you or your store. In conclusion, this is possibly the worst sallys store Ive ever been to in my whole entire life.

Each time I have made a trip to Sally Beauty in Gaithersburg, MD, it has always been a dreadful experience. There is not one time I have visited that branch over the past several years and haven’t received scowls from employees on duty. During my last recent trip to that branch I was ridiculed by a woman working behind the register who felt that it was her duty to comment on what she thinks I should and should not be wearing. I believe the incident happened on the 4th of July. I walked into the store to buy a few products, and by the time I reached the register the woman felt the need to rudely comment on my shorts. She brazenly declared, in front of what must have been ten other customers, that my shorts were “too short” and that everything was “hanging out for everyone to see,” and continued on to mumble several other offensive comments under her breath… loud enough for everyone to hear. Not that I should even need to defend myself, but I was wearing spandex shorts on my way from an exercise class.Needless to say, this Sally Beauty Supply branch has single-handedly provided me with the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
