Hi everyone this CarQuest in Gaithersburg theres sale very fake part to the people.I buy the alternator from this store and theres guaranteed on it.after 5 months the alternator broke down and this store manager said hi can not replace for and i have to buy another new one who cost $ 225.00 again never your car part in that store

Very helpful folks! I needed windshield cleaner and picked up a roll of paper towels, the nice lady in the checkout counter told me I could save on the paper towel by picking up another roll that was half the price. This happened 5 minutes after store closing time. That speaks volumes about how they treat their customers.

I came to the store twice in one day, first time to buy windshield wipers, headlights and engine filter, and second time to return the headlights because they were not right for my car. Both times the cashiers were the same - Danny and Harry. Both times Harry was extremely rude with me and other customers and Danny had to make up for Harrys mistakes but obviously Ill talk about my experience.First time around Harry told me that they dont have the air filter I was looking for in stock and the wipers I chose are the wrong fit for my car. I went to change my wipers but because I was doubting Harrys words I decided to ask Danny. Danny said they were OK and later I found out he was right. Danny also said that they DID have the air filter for my car and I successfully purchased it and installed it the same day. Because of computers mistake, however, the headlights I purchased were wrong fit and I had to come back the second time to return them, which is understandable and I dont blame Danny for that mistake, however...The second time I came to return the headlights with my girlfriend and while Harry was trying himself in a role of a standup comedian over there, he managed to tell my girlfriend that she would be good in a webcam business. I thought he realized he screwed up but instead of apologizing, he continued by asking what her website was. When I politely confronted him about it, he blamed the joke on Danny who had absolutely nothing to do with it.I also understood from Dannys and Harrys conversation that Danny is Harrys subordinate. I have no idea how that is a good decision. The store owner has to understand that if you make someone like Harry a manager or whatever, expect your sales to go down.TO SUMMARIZE: Harry failed to sell the product that he had in stock and called my girlfriend a s**t while Danny had to make up for it. All of this is ON TOP of all other rude things he did but I just dont have time to mitch about it.

Store is not the cleanest but the service is awesome and parts are at most a few hours away. I will always be a customer.
