Love this place. They got everything from water to tractor parts. For you 2a enthusiasts, their ammo is abundant (10/31/2021) but limited to common calibers.

I love the friendly staff and the fact that they are so helpful! Their prices are decent, and if you catch them during a season change, prices are even better. They will help load anything you arent able to and always keep almost everything in good stock. Great variety of options for farmers, pet owners, and just general shopping. A one stop shop, for what they offer :)

Shopped for trailer tires at several different stores to find best price...Also Donna floor person was very helpful and had total knowledge of the store and was very helpful in making sure that we had the tires....Store was well organized and had everything in stock..Also found deals in fishing and clothing.....

Y’know, this place isn’t artfully lit or spotlessly clean. But the staff are friendly and helpful. And their prices are so low, on a regular basis, that Home Depot and Lowe’s won’t even try to match them. If you want a huge variety of goods at decent prices, check here before you go to the other big box hardware stores.

They were having a customer appreciation day and giving away free hot dogs. I think that was awesome! I love all their merchandise, and the prices. I also love that they do not require masks!!!

The manager Shelby does A fine job keeping the store well stocked and staffed. The employees are great and willing to help with whats whatever you may need oh and dont forget to feed popcorn on the way in or out

I drive an hour one way to go to RK for the 50# bags of alfalfa cubes for my horse. Buying in bulk makes the trip worth it for sure. They are of awesome quality and their price is better than anywhere else around. Customer service has been great. Product selection is vast. You can find pretty much everything you need if you have animals and/or farm. Even clothes, shoes, and home decor!

4pm ish tue, no trouble finding parking, store was not crowded, plenty of staff on hand, 3 checkout lines open. Best news was a new shipment of ammo arrived. 22lr, 9mm, 243, 270, 7.62x51, 7.62x39, and assortment of 12, and 20 ga..Plenty to go around. Some had 5 box limits. Otherwise, specials were all over the store, you can tell the holidays are coming. Go get ya some.

We went to country critters and all the way from the woman at the front to the vet assistant to the actual vet was nice and concerned, not just trying to rush you out like they dont care. They were all very helpful and nice. It was our first visit and it went great and it will be where we take our animals for now on.

Love browsing their food stuffs, always find cool, new things... and, hopefully, pickled asparagus.I also found 2 Christmas gifts ~ and got out of the store for under $50.00!

Great store, wide variety, competitive prices, friendly service

We frequently shop at Rural King in Gainesville. Selection and prices are great. The reason for only 4 stars is that they are lax in their bullpen delivery and staff. We have to walk back inside at least once, if not more, to have them send someone out to load the merchandise we’ve purchased. We’ve had to do this twice recently and the individual(s) they send are slow and almost incapable of handling/lifting the items. We had to do it ourselves one time. Improvement needed.

If I could give zero Stars I would never shop at rural King in Gainesville I place an order online yesterday called to make sure that they had the inventory and it was confirmed it was paid for they said yes its ready to go I told him okay I cant be until tomorrow to pick it up they said no problem well have it ready I called the next day before I went said that they havent pulled it yet but they were going to pull it right now that I can come and get it. I go in to pick it up and they said they dont have it Im still waiting outside to figure out what theyre going to do while Im inside waiting there was another customer that happened the same thing they ordered online to come in and picked up the merchandise and I dont have it never shop at rural King in Gainesville. Update /08/21/20 the store manager the next day did give me an upgraded mower I would have got it the same day but the lady canceled my order online so I had to wait for my refund. So the store manager did do the best he could to make it right I understand that you you cant always help the action of your employees but they need better policies and procedures in place that are followed if you order something online from their call and make sure they have it in store and thats your order gets pulled after you make the order.

Purchase the 35 horsepower front end loader with cab and was it great decision! Great price, more lifting power. Backhoe attachments, grappler attachments, and routine maintenance all done inhouse.

Frequent buyer of Rural King. Lots of nice choices for pretty much anything. Clothing is great quality for great prices. Weve gotten baby chicks there that have been healthy. Only complaint is that checkout lines can be long a lot of the time (this was an issue prior to Covid.)

The only thing I wasnt able to get today was a water bottle for the guinea pig. Everything else was in stock. Looking forward to going back to look for the water bottle. (And everything else in the store). I love it there.

I love this store. The only gripe I have is there isnt one in the ACTUAL COUNTRY AREA which is where I happen to live. CHIEFLAND FLORIDA could really use one and the money is there to be had as well as the property is there! It would be a HUGE money maker for the company if they put one there. No real competition and everyone would go there daily!

If Walmart and tractor supply had a baby, it would be rural king. I love this store.

The free popcorn makes it somehow okay to do periodic checks to see if some desired item has come in, ay? Otherwise I experience pretty competitive prices on merch on pallets, some of the stuff on shelves not as nice pricewise and since they offer a wide variety of items of no interest my view is limited.

I went in to purchase chain link fencing. The first employee didnt know what that was. I then attempted to get some info from 4 employees that were standing around talking. They sent me to the back corner of the store where there was no chain link fencing. When I tracked the 4 down again - same spot - still talking, they told me to go to the service desk. Girl behind counter advised that they do not sell chain link fencing. I mentioned that it is on the website and if I could get some help ordering it as I needed many pieces to go with the fence for the installation. She checked with the manager and said no they could not help me order it because they dont do that. I am very disappointed and will not be back. A few miles down the road was Lowes - they were happy to make my $2000 order. I would leave less than 1 star if I could.

This store has everything a guy can ask for an the prices are great. I bought the Rural king blue Jeans for 9.99 each a few months ago an there just as good as any 100 dollar pair out there. Also bought ammo when almost no other stores had any at all.

Staff is never willing to help, if you ask a question they will look at you like youre annoying them. The Harvest Acrd is a rip off. Trust me I have one. I only shop at this store cause they have the dog food I need at a decent price

Went in on 6/23/21 and explained to Michael that I suspected I had a bad negative terminal on a battery I bought last October...He said no problem go bring in the old one and go pick you out a new one...he never even ask for a receipt or proof of purchase!! He trusted me the whole way and was totally professional...Thank you so much Michael for your customer service!!

This is the best Rural King Ive been in. It is a very large store, well stocked, and the prices are great. By far the best place to buy a cat tower. I also buy corn at a great price to put out in my yard for the animals.

I enjoyed Rural King! The hay & feed were at a cheaper than TSC or my local feed store!But the store was slightly unorganized!Price tags were hard to find on some items.I will return for the feed as long as the price stays reasonable.

I absolutely love Rural King stores. This Gainesville store opened and started off well. Sadly in the last several years the quality of service has dwindled down drastically. I still shop here due to mileage convenience. I believe management has lost sight of the core customer and has allowed the surrounding environment to change or capitulate its focus. Rural King is a great and dependable name for all customers from small backyards to large farms. Thank you for your time.

This place has so much stuff, I mean really so different from regular all in one stores. Geared towards ranch and home. The prices are better than other similar retailers and selection is pretty good. Another big thing is the service, they are helpful and kind. Thats a Big Deal!

Parking lot was crowded when I arrived at 2:30 on a Tuesday. I picked up a few items and went to the only open register, where there were 9 individuals in line. About 8 registers and only 1 was operating. I put my items down and walked out. No excuse in a store that busy, to only have 1 checkout. Saving money at the expense of the customers time. They used to be great but have truly gone down hill in the last 6 months. Often are low on stock. Needs new management.

The site was fairly easy to use. Was looking for horse panels. They were out. As with lots of idems on back order.

Went to get repair on on a weed wacker, And was told the only person who could work on it was out with covid, Didnt know when he would be back. So very disappointed.

Always good customer service and have been willing to help. This is my one stop shop for most everything I need.
