Bought a keg for our wedding, bucket, tap, cups & all = $250When the bartender went to tap the keg, it was the wrong tap.But this is not a one star review about a mistake that was made...We came back in days later and spoke with a manager named Chris. Chris did not hesitate to do what was right, we thought it would have to be a fight. He provided the type of customer service for this situation in a way that you dont see very often anymore. Then he went even further, way beyond our expectations to show his dedication that we left there completely happy.Mistakes get made. Sometimes a small mistake can have a big impact on an important event. But then there are those rare employees out there who understand how to make up for it.Thank you Chris!

Total Wine has an incredible selection of everything! Their wine section alone is the size of other liquor stores. Be sure to get the app and a free account with them. Youll get monthly perks like free gift bags and coupons that add up to great savings. For example, today I bought a bottle of whisky that was $100. After my 15% off coupon, $85! And no, you dont have to spend that much. The coupon was good on purchases over $5 and 750ml. On another occasion I bought a case of wine and got 10% off. Add in a helpful staff, classes to help people understand the value of different wines and spirits, and the ability to sample some products and you get a great experience.

I was in a long line at Total Wine & More at Butler Plaza North 3965 Plaza Blvd Suite 10 in Gainesville, FL 32608 on Saturday afternoon at around 5 pm. My frustration with seeing several employees circulating the area, yet not helping break down long lines seemed to come to an end. A nice young lady named Nikki manned a cash register. I quickly moved in to line as did the customers behind me. But then a young man joined Nikki, showed her something on his hand-held enabler, and they both took off toward the back of the store near the walk-in humidor. We looked at each other dumbfounded as any customer would expecting better customer service. One of the shoppers behind me remarked that his wasnt exactly the Publix of spirits establishments in terms of customer service. I nodded my head in agreement, waited a few more moments, and left my intended purchases on the wrap stand conveyer belt. I took one last look at the wrap stand once I reached the exit. Still no return from Nikki. I considered returning home and not returning to the store one Id made the same purchase elsewhere. But I wanted to get at least some understanding of what had happened. I spotted Nikki immediately. She recognized me and said, Welcome back. I asked her name as I was looking for a name tag which she was indeed wearing. She replied, Nikki. Whats up? I told her Im good and left Total Wine & More for the last time ever. Ill miss the special discounts Ive received in my emails. Ive unsubscribed. Please provide employees like Nikki with better customer service training.

We get a keg from here every other week. Very much self service, with plenty of friendly reps giving out free shots. I just cant give it 5 stars because there is little customer service. I feel like I need to know what Im doing coming into the store to have a good shopping experience.

I gave them a two star rating just because the person helping me with the one was not listening to my needs. He had something in mind and was not going to sell us anything else. His wine recommendation at best, the wine was ok.On the other hand, the lady that helped with the Irish whiskey and the Scotch was really good, and what bought was fantastic.

First the floor although a cute grey color,our feet were black after walking around in our room.The wall needed some places painted.The elevator hD an expired license.Pool was dirty.The beds were clean and comfortable.Staff very nice

This is a huge store with pretty much anything your looking for.Staff are friendly, but I did have the experience of one hovering. Directions and even a unsolicited recommendation is good, but I really don’t like the feeling of being watched as I choose my purchase.Overall a great chain liquor store, far superior to any other chain store I’ve experienced.

This place is like a super Walmart but for booze. If youre looking for something super specific or even exotic (never heard of Bahamian beer brands till I saw it here) this is the place to go. Bigger selection than ABC. Shame theres only one in town tho

Literally every wine, its like a fancy museum. Not just wine, but literally everything else. Super fancy, pretty good prices. Also, normal stuff like snacks and all that. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I came in on a random Wednesday for a very last minute uncommon birthday gift for my husband as I hadn’t planned very well. I was looking for Redbreast 21 and could only find 12 or 15. The 15 is great so I was about to place it in my cart and go on my way when two employees asked if I needed help. When I asked for the 21 they spent 15 minutes trying to find it (inventory said they had one) but sadly it was not true. Oh well, it’s okay thanks for trying, right? Not on Total Wine Employee Sarah’s watch! She called the Lady Lake store. Confirmed they had a bottle of the 21 and drove to retrieve it THAT AFTERNOON. I kept trying to say it wasn’t necessary but she insisted it was a fabulous birthday gift idea and they were going to make it happen. She made it happen. I can’t thank Sarah and the Total Wine team enough. It was an incredible birthday surprise (he had no idea and couldn’t believe it!) and we both love sharing the incredible customer service of how he got the 21. Any other store would have said sorry after searching but not Gainesville. 10/10 stars. Thank you for making this happen!

Wow wow wow. This place is huge and has the best selection of wine, spirits and beer I have EVER seen! I was able to get crafty beers from Belgium along side premium small batch vodkas from Poland. I wish I had a store like this where I live. I could literally spend hours here just looking at the bottles. Make sure you stop buy and grab a cart!

2021-Feb: Currently they sure are going to hunt you down and give you a mask. Maskers and anti-maskers can take that for what its worth. Im not sharing my opinion on the matter, lol. Its easy to socially distance as there is plenty of room in the aisles for those who care.Theres a good selection of beer and spirits. A fair selection of ciders, though not as much as Id like. We have a gas convenience station locally that has more variety of ciders and I would expect Total Wine to be able to compete, but they dont even come close. If youre looking for small bottles to try liquors, theyve got loads of those nicely displayed and organized. Perfect for a sampling party or gift.Checkers are always efficient, helpful, and courteous. Help can be difficult to find if you need something on the top shelf or have a question. Bathrooms have been clean every visit, stall locks work, paper towels and soap available.Prices are reasonable. Thats about all I can tell yall about the TW&M in Gainesville FL.

We love the wine and beer selections at our local Total Wine. When we saw one during our visit in Gainesville, of course we had to stop in. Every Total Wine has different selections of craft beers which my husband loves, so he was a happy boy with some new beers to try out. We were able to do a wine tasting which was actually mostly champagne, a red blend, and a bottle of Crimson Ranch Chardonnay. We walked away with a bottle of the Chardonnay (we are more red wine drinkers). Generally the the staff at the tasting counter are very knowledgeable; however the girl that was pouring didnt know much about the wine which was fine, because we know what we like. To

As usual this place is one of the cleanest and most well-stocked liquor stores. This one in particular out of the five that I have frequented seems to have an impressively low wait time and very friendly staff.

Great selection across beverage preferences which rotates with season. What truly set them apart for me was an interaction I had today. I brought an elderly veteran neighbor to the store and his back went out while he was at the store and he had me stuffing bottles into his camo pack. Anyone reasonable could have expected a hustle was being pulled, but the management and staff worked quickly to get him a chair and treated both of us with great respect while offering up assistance. We managed to get him checked out and paid up from his chair and they continued to offer assistance as we made our way back to the car. Terrific response all around.

Lemme tell you, if youre looking for a liquor store with friendly, helpful staff and a huge selection at very reasonable prices, stop reading and visit Total Wine right now. I had a card for another liquor store in town (I wont name names) but it took three visits to Total Wine for me to forget Id been anywhere else. On my last visit, I got great suggestions for a couple of wines that I didnt think Id like but really enjoyed. Their staff really know what theyre talking about.

Little disappointed, went into the store to purchase a bottle of wine. My oldest daughter (17) didnt want to stay in the vehicle, so she went inside with me. I tried buying the bottle of wine and was denied because of policy, which I read that as long as you are the guardian and of age. I guess I look too young to have an older daughter that is the same height as me. Next time Ill have to go alone, all well. I understand the importance of not selling to minors but felt a little more judged than anything.

Something about Total Wine just makes you feel good when you walk in. The staff is always SUPER helpful in finding whatever you might need (it can be a bit of a maze.) Outside of service, the store is clean, well-stocked, and does a good job at making recommendations of brands you may not have known about or tried.

Youd think their prices would be great, however on certain bottles they are way more than smaller stores.

As expected its the Walmart/Sams of Booze. Beautiful new location that is shiny and has that new car smell. Only disappointment is there isnt a growler station in the Beer department (where theres counter area and ample room), and also that the special/seasonal release area was a sliver of that other stores have. Hopefully that will build up over time.

My sister who is 30 went in to get her something to drink and I have a fear of being in cars alone at night so I walked in with her and they wouldn’t sell her the liquor but there were two kids in the store in the line in front of us but they didn’t say anything to them and didn’t ask for there IDs. Would not recommend this store at all very rude and unprofessional

Place has so many selections to choose from. They even have a place for cigars. They have expensive and inexpensive everything plus drinks that are hard to come by. The staff will help you in a heartbeat and are very well informed about most products.

Wow! Ive loved Total Wine forever, but a very rude lady named Daphna ruined my experience for me. When I asked for her help, she asked me to look harder for the items before asking for help because she was busy. She did not try to find someone else to help me. She treated me as though I was incompetent. Im pretty sure your job is to know the ins and outs of wine and help provide customers a pleasant experience. I understand I shop third-party, but my job is NOT to know your store. I was treated as if I should be a wine expert and not a customer. Had the customer that I was shopping for asked for your help, I hope you wouldnt treat them the same way. Us shoppers are just as much customers as anyone else. If you cannot help me, please direct me to someone who can, or ask me to wait. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the rest of the staff was extremely helpful, and apologized for her poor behavior and said that she always treats third-party shoppers like this. Bad, bad customer service.

Great service and staff. Theres this staff member named Lopez. She is kind and caring. She has help me on numerous occasions and has given me a great experience. She is the main reason I keep coming back.

The store is huge and has pretty much everything for reasonable prices.

Great store. Didnt spend much time in there, but man I wish they had this on Long Island NY. tasting rooms, top shelf items, everything under one roof. My brother-in-law recently purchased a kegerator and we searched everywhere for a 1/6th keg and everyone had to special order it. Everyone except Total Wine and More. They have a walk in keg room with all sizes of kegs. Alot of 1/6th sizes to choose from. Filled with a wide variety and reasonable prices. We were in and out in no time. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly.

Staff is rude and unhelpful as to trying to get the product or to give me a time frame the stuff will be in. I had to bag my own stuff on multiple occasions when i had several items in my order. Stop selling expired beer. I just got a six pack of an IPA that was brewed six months ago in November and it tastes completely off. I dont know if you guys know this but IPAs are only good for 3 months after brew date. Just because its alcohol doesnt mean it can last forever, its not liquor. I really dont like spending my money on nasty beer when I couldve gone literally anywhere else and got fresher beer from there. There needs to be more quality control because this isnt even the first time this has happened to me so Im sure many others have dealt with this as well. Its gross.

Great selection of wine and beer. The staff is very knowledgable. During my last wine purchase at this store Daphne was super helpful. Their wine classes are really good, they are definitely worth it. In summary in the wine department the are excellent. I would love for them to have more whiskey and beer tastings/classes.
