Usually I shop here at least once a month and every other week during December... Since 2010! The staff are always FRIENDLY and treat people how they want to be treated. The merchandise is always unique and I enjoy taking a #Staycation day here.

Good place to get all kinds of Asian food.

This store sometimes carries what Im looking for. Prices are so-so, but its definitely harder to find an Asian food market comparable to the stores that I was used to up north (like Hmart). I like the selection of items in the snack section and they usually have the sauces that I need. I recommend this place for the snacks, tea, and noodle selection, but everything else is sort of pricey. Buy your veggies elsewhere unless youre looking for specialty/exotic fruits.

It is a decent size store. They carry little of everything, fresh vegetables, snacks, sauces, canned, dried food, frozen. They have an aisle just for instant noodle. I think due to the size, they cant carry large variety of merchandise, but you can still find what you need if you are not too picky about brandThe most impressive thing us they have a fridge just for Hotpot meat. And interesting choice if bakery.

Whos the first time that Ive shopped there but my roommate wanted to stop in and buy food hes from Vietnam. And Im dating his mother and were going to get married. And we stopped in to see what kind of food they had and I was quite surprised at the different types of food I could buy there and surprising the food that will be able to pick up and make it home Im sure shell enjoy it cuz I will too.

This place has everything you need to cook Asian cuisine. Including the cook wear, bowls, chopsticks 🥢...you name it. I head straight for the fresh produce, fresh in season fruits and vegetables at a great price. They have frozen or dried Lo Mein noodles, frozen dim sum u0026 the steamer to cook it in!! Oh, and the selection of dried mushrooms will blow your mind! 🤯 I drive about 25 miles (one way) to get here, it is worth the trip. The owners are helpful u0026 friendly.

I live in Key West but frequent Gainesville often to see family. I will always make it a point to stop in at Chin Chung! Wonderful selection of products but what keeps me coming back is the friendly and genuinely kind staff. The owner even gave me a styrofoam cooler from the back of the store so I could transport my frozen foods home! Now that’s service.

Many vegetarian options. A bit expensive so we stopped buying the frozen vegetarian goods and got ours at Publix instead. However, this is where we buy tofu and fresh veggies. Fruits are good but overly expensive. The place is disorganized, with veggies everywhere and goods all over the place. I bought expired goods from the freezer once. So be careful when you shop.

Buy Norwegian mackerel here. They have the best. The store gets super busy during the weekends so you may want to go during the week.

I’ve been to every Asian grocery store in Gainesville and this is the best one! They have their aisles organized by country- Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Korean, etc; a great selection of fresh vegetables, meats, and fish; they also have a ton of noodles, teas, and rice options; and a little bakery section with pastries from Sweet Buns Bakery. So happy I found this place and I highly recommend it. I always get vegetables I can’t find at American supermarkets like lotus root, red spinach, and gai lan!The only issue I’ve had is that I got a Matcha soy milk which came out of the carton in big clumps and was therefore spoiled (although the date was still good). Overall, would highly recommend. It looks a little run down, but don’t let that fool you! Aside from aesthetics they have all the things you would ever need.

This is my favorite oriental market in Gainesville. They have the best variety of vegetables, meats, seafood and frozen foods. Their prices are probably the lowest of any oriental market in Gainesville. I come here to buy all my ingredients for dumplings, pho, etc.Double check if this is still their schedule but they usually bring in fresh vegetables and pastries on Wednesday morning. They sometimes have cooked peking duck for sale as well as other cooked food.I generally come here for ingredients for meals that I expect to make, namely oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, dumpling wrappers and vegetables.

Some of the best deals on produce! My go to spot for mushrooms, they have a slight smell of berries (good thing!) that not even Eastern Market, Whole Foods, Fresh Market can match.Im always trying different snacks each trip and have found seaweed strips that I now cannot live without and prawn crackers that remind me of England. They also have addicting mochi and bubble tea packets.I love coming here, and the people who work here are a huge reason for that too. Dont be afraid to ask questions rather than walk away with something you dislike because of a language barrier. Theyre all super helpful, even if its busy. Try the sweet buns, especially taro and custard! Try all the mochi! :)They also have vegetarian alternatives, check the last freezer on the right before hitting the tea/spice aisle.Thanks for all the good food!

One of my Favorite Asian Markets in Florida. You gotta check them out wide selection. From fresh vegetables, fresh seafood, frozen foods, snacks, plus plates, cups, chopsticks, straws, sake cups set, tea cups set, pots.

I like this place. Although, it is not a large store they have an incredible selection including fresh fish and produce, as well as, sake and some Asian beer. And they are friendly to round eye like me who is knowledgeable about Asian cuisine but is always curious about expanding my ability to procure and prepare new dishes.

Went here to buy crab sticks. At register was charged $3 over the marked price on the shelf. Attendant just mentioned they were good and the price is right at $3 more. I didnt argue, but after tasting them, they clearly werent worth the price. Will try the market on 23/13st next time.

Love this place!!! My girlfriend is Vietnamese so I obviously had to come here. It’s like any other asian market, amazing selection of foreign goods, including fruits, veggies, meats, and snacks. I do half my shopping every week here and absolutely recommend their kim-chi and seaweed salad. Prices seem comparable to most others i’ve been too, and the staff is super nice. They also have apple pay!

Dont bother with a shopping cart, just use a hand basket so you can move around freely. Great selection of produce. Only place in the area that Ive found snow pea tips (my favorite).

A bit pricey, but has the widest selection of Asian foods for any market within 100 miles.

If you want relatively fresh vegetables, this is a good option. Also, you can get some nice selections of Asian food. One concern is that their meat is based on a package with no information and i found out that the beef I bought was over-weighted. The cashier might have made a mistake or something. Also, you pay for the container weight at the beef price.

So this place is literally a haven for dumplings , they have a whole back corner dedicated to dumplings , wide variety of many sauces and other delicious snakes to choose from , will definitely be going here again

Great place to find a lot of authentic Asian items you wont find in small towns.They have a diverse selection of fresh catches, exotic fruits (overpriced in conventional grocers), and hard to find items (pleasantly surprised!).

This place is a gem. So many varieties that you lose your mind! Their fish section is good. The spices section is very diverse. I bought some spice to try at home and my wife cooked awesome beef curry with it. Definitely going back!

Has a large selection from many different Asian countries. You will definitely find what youre looking for here! I wouldnt recommend using a rolling cart however, as the aisles can get very cramped.

Based on a small city standard, it is a decent food market. They got a lot of groceries, fresh vegetables, some fresh meats, and seafood. They got many type of flours and rice, noodles. Forzen food selection was good but they got some wried setup where they put clear hard plastic cover on top of the chest freezers with the cover opened. Price is reasonable and expected with small Asian population.

Awesome market. Tons of variety. They even have a section of frozen vegan and vegetarian meat alternatives. The staff are helpful and friendly. Its super crowded on the weekends.

The place is great, the owner is nice too. But there is this Chinese female cashier who is rude and annoying. My gift card did not work when I swiped it, so she had to put those numbers manually. Her attitude makes me feel like I own her! She also said, how much is left in the card? You’d better throw it away. And “spend it all asap”. Very rude. Don’t know if I will go back there again after spending the balance, although I do like the other Asian female staff who is very nice and kind.

This is not a big store but definitely couldnt be called a small store. It appears that they try to carry everything possible. The variety in there was impressive! The store is dated but it doesnt seem to affect its functionality. Courteous staff. Prices were acceptable not that you couldnt find it for less but in doing so you might pay for it in the extra gas. Its a little far for me but my wife said she would come back even with the drive.If your looking for a lot of different items you should definitely try this place out.

Ive been going to this Asian market for a long time and have seen it through 2 different owners. Really nice customer service and they offer alot of cool snacks here. The fresh produce and goods usually come in Thursday or Friday selling out quickly. The dry goods are pretty diverse and not so expensively priced. But the store and parking can get busy during peak hours.

Such a neat place to buy items you wont find other places! I usually shop for bok choy and chillis here.

Nice market the owners are very nice and really helpful! It is very small so the smell of all the raw food/seafood can be overwhelming. But, the one place I was able to find Rambutans! Go check them out.

Selection is pretty good. I like the prices. I got so wrapped up in the vegetable and ramen that I forgot to get some fresh red snapper. Oh well, guess I gotta make a second trip. This was the first trip to this Asian Market and I was very pleased with the cleaness and organization of the store. It was very easy to find products that are from Japanese origin with more selection then the giant market in Orlando. A bonus was how friendly the staff was and I will be back on a monthly basis. This was my first time visiting this market. My main focus today was produce and found they had what I was looking for. The market opens at 9:30am. They were wuite busy this morning. There are so many things to look at and buy. I will return to buy spices . Highly recommended. Good prices too.

Cheated me out of a discount of 50% and only gave me 10% even after I told her it was outdated and the manager said I could purchase it at 50% less than marked. I even had the manager tell the cashier. And still got cheated. Would not recommend this store to anyone.

I enjoy eating a wide variety of food and have been shopping at Chun Ching Market for over 15 years. Their current location is an improvement over their previous one, and their selection of refrigerated and frozen items expanded greatly. I mostly buy canned and bottled food and condiments but do occasionally pick up fresh veggies. They have a very nice rice room with a wide selection of grains. Hands down, they are my go-to Asian food market.

Any Asian spices, and ingredients that you could ever need. The prices are very low and the woman at the counter is very sweet and funny. They have fresh fish, tons of spices, and basically anything else you can think of. If you need anything, this is the place to go!

They cleaned the place up really well. They have a large variety of products and typically have the lowest prices amongst our Asian markets. I will shop here first for Asian food stuffs before going to any of the other Asian markets.

I visited today for the first time to buy some beef bones for pho, which were easy to find. The staff was friendly and attentive, so this will probably be my go-to location for ingredients next time I make pho! The beef strips also looked perfect for the recipe so Ill probably just buy everything there next time. Thank you for the easy experience!

Price is reasonable and they have most Korean foods ingredients. Seefoods are also good. Most of all, the owner couple are very kind and helpful!
