Took my Phantom 3 in very clearly stating that it would work only to about 100 feet and then it would lose signal. After a week I call back and they told me it was done, had passed bench test. I asked if they had flown it and they said no. I restated that everything is ok until you fly it and its about 100 feet away and then it loses signal - they told me it would be $50 for a flight test so I told them great, go ahead and proceed. 2 weeks later get the drone back and its still broke. So I downloaded the logs from the drone and confirmed they never even flew it. Waste of time and money.

Be aware with this place. OVERPRICED AND DISHONEST. They switched out my SD Card from 400GB to 4GB. And I even bought new propeller for my DJI mini 2, they tried to give my drone back without it. Luckily, I remembered and checked it, and he said “oh it’s not new”, I told him to look in the receipt and he said “oh okay, I’ll do it now”. The guy was going to charge me the different price than the receipt too.

This is a great place to do business. The entire staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I showed up with a sick DJI drone without an appointment and during lunch. The service tech hurriedly finished his lunch. Now I’m talking I followed his lunch through the front door and he ate it is five minutes or less to help with my DJI. To make a long story short in the span of one hour he had repaired and test flown my drone. The price was fair and the service was outstanding. My husband owns a DJI MAVIC PRO platinum. On a recent flight the battery got low and the drone crashed. Unfortunately the camera and gimbal were damaged. We found drones plus Dallas online, and they actually answered the phone when my husband called. We live a ways out in the country so we sent the drone via courier when we were camping in the DFW metroplex. The communication on pricing and fixing the drone was great. An effort to fix the camera was not successful, so they had to order a new one and replace it. They tested it before it left their facility and was shipped back to expediently via UPS signature required. We received the drone today and it’s in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend DRONES PLUS DALLAS for repair work.

After crashing my DJI Phantom 3 Pro 4k I received a gimbal error motor overload. I spoke to DJI and to their recommend service centers in the United States. I was told the only solution was to replace the entire gimbal. After hearing and speaking to Drones Plus Dallas I was told it could be repaired. They repaired it! I recommend Drones Plus Dallas to everyone looking for drone repairs. However, they forgot 4 screws on my gimbal motor cover.Pricing ($40-60 labor, $60 gimbal motor board, etc)

Great Customer Service! I bought a battery for our Mavic 2 Pro

Incredibly disappointing customer service. I never received a phone call to confirm that the drone in need of repair was received by their store, never received a phone call to give an update on the progress, no deadlines for completion or updates were met. I had to reach out to the company for every point of contact.I wish I could speak to the repair service, but a critical cable was lost during the repair/transit and I am unable to operate my drone because of it. Its been over a month since I shipped them my drone for repair. Very disappointed in the level of service.

Let me start with this, Please , please and please take complete pictures of the drone inside out ( if you can) because these people steal money from customers,Here is my story, i crashed my DJI Phantom 3 Standard drone. Searched in google and found Drone plus a legit. There were couple of issues with the done1. The base supporting plate of camera was cracked2. Getting Accelerometer error when starting the drone.I when to their shop, got the free estimate. Their reply was that the whole IMU unit is faulty and they have to replace it. I asked them not to replace it, i asked them just to replace the cracked base of camera. As per their policy they put all the faulty parts which they replace attached to the drone. After getting the drone i opened it just to get the accelerometer issue fixed (based on the findings from YoutTube) and i saw the compass connector which is attached to the motherboard is missing and the connector is handing with couple of wires out of the connector. Next day morning i reached to their shop and asked them whats the deal with the compass connector because they never told me any issues related to that. The senior technician said the compass connector was loose so he tried to fix it by soldering. First of all when they did the analysis they never told me the compass connector is bad and i even didnt see the missing part attached which they should have. Not sure who asked them to solder the connector when i didnt want to fix it. I am pretty sure that they broke this part and tried to fix on their own and they dont accept their own mistake. Please, please and please make sure you do your due diligence before u guys reach out to them.

He fully inspected and troubleshooted my “DJI Phantom 3 standard” and showed me step by step that my drone is fully functional and ready to fly, at no cost. YES FREE. He even made the settings in the DJI app that I asked him. Like safe return to home, max height and range etc.

These guys are super amazing. Im so impressed. I crashed my drone and paid to ship my drone to them all the way from Georgia. Unfortunately, the damage to my drone called for more repair than I was willing to pay. But they really tried to find creative ways to help me. I could tell they were really trying to come up with a solution that was the most economical. When I declined, they had a great attitude. My drone was shipped back to me and all I had to pay was return shipping.The last thing really blew me away. One of my white propeller locks on the motor was missing. I called and let them know but it was a bit of a mystery. I was thinking... Well thats cheap at least. No biggie. They had been so nice to me. The next day someone calls me, I believe his name is Justin…apologizes and sends me a new set of propeller locks for my drone for free.That is real integrity. They definitely showed me they are really out to service the customer. Cant recommend them enough!!!!

I purchased my Drone here just over a year ago and fortunately took advantage of their 2 year service contract. After a year of flying I had to make use of that contract and saved at least 66% of the repair bill. Their service has always been exceptional to the point that they got my repair out on the same day which saved me an extra 3 hour drive into Dallas. If you fly professionally it is great knowing you have this professional support team to back you up.

I visit this place Oct 2, 2018, drove 1.5 hour to get there. Place is close to mall. Same Day Service. Staff is awesome, very friendly. Expensive place, but I value time. Staff is very knowledgeable and technical. Drone is totally new world for me. Tons of things I learn today and experience tons of stuff. Yes, I would recommend this place.

STAY AWAY!!!Very BAD experience,bad customer service ... overprice for repairs!!!I took my drone for gimbal calibration or repair few months ago,they asure me that the gimbal has to be replaced ,so they replaced!when I went to pick up my drone I requested my used old gimbalthey refuse to give it to me!!!the answer was they trough it away ...with out my consent!I never authorize to put it on a trash... they has to return the old pieces replaced to each customer ...no matter what!!Im paying for a new gimbal ..the old gimbal its my property as well...Paul took my information ...promised to send me the gimbal by mail!!Never received!!!called many times no answer!!voice messages were left asking to contact me ... never happened!talked again and surprise they answer but they were rude and unprofessional ... this is what Robert told meIm not gonna ship the old used gimbal ... you have come and pick it up and I give you a few days to do it!! other wise Im through it away ...when I have been waiting for months, because Paul promised me that Hell send it by mail ...Hes final answer was ... Talk to Paul about it because Im not spending $20 dollar for shipping ...I live far away and its very inconvenient to drive 30 miles for something they refuse to give it to me at the time of picking up my drone...my conclusion they didnt replace a new gimbal ...they just overcharge me ...STAY AWAY!!!

I couldn’t get the new firmware and other software updates to sync with my iPad and Mac for my Phantom 4 drone and I’d spent hours trying to get it to work. Great experience with Erwin who fixed my Phantom 4 after a crash. He is amazing and if you dont know him, stop in and say hello. Very helpful and resourceful for those of us new to the DRONE world. Sometimes as a female, even though I have passed my Part 107 and fly a Phantom 4, it can be intimidating to enter a hobby and business made up mostly of men. I had an experience with another local Drone Store that was not very embracing. Drones Plus however, provides a very relaxing and helpful environment and useful advice.

Took my Mavic Pro to Drones Plus today for assistance with abnormal gimbal vibration. Upon walking in, the store was neat and adequately stocked with a variety of equipment. I recently crashed my drone. I originally took it to that place that advertises on KRLD. Two weeks and an estimate of $475 later, I took it to Drones Plus Dallas. They fixed the issue for $60 and it only took them two working days. I thought the other place was being over generous with my money and this proved it. Plus, I was impressed with the customer service I received. Hopefully, I wont be a repeat customer, but I can highly recommend Drones Plus Dallas if you need drone repair. I brought my Phantom 3 in for a gimbal issue following a crash. When I brought it in, they said there’s a chance it’s a simple motor problem, or a chance I’d need a whole new camera. At worst, it would have been a couple of days and $250 INSTALLED. I left expecting to hear back in a couple of days as quoted. I got a call 2 hours later, the motor was fixed and I was set to pick it up. It only cost me $60 out the door, this place is amazing. I’m fairly new to drones but I’ll never go anywhere else.

I see all the 5 stars here and although it was not cost effective to have my drone repaired I was very disappointed in the service. The personnel seemed very timid and inexperienced. They need a face for customer service because the techs are not good at it at all.

Went in to get a DJI Phantom 3 serviced after a crash and this place was very helpful. $80 an hour for repair plus the cost of parts. He repaired it within an hour and I paid $100 total for the repair. Awesome speed and quality of service!

I stopped by the shop today to have my DJI Phantom looked at. I had crashed the drone 2 years ago while on vacation in Hawaii into a bunch of sand. This is my second drone, so I know how to fly, but accidents still happen and trees and drones dont mix. Needless to say seeing my brand new drone on the ground with three busted props and a bent gimble yaw was devastating. I took it to the Drones Plus guys expecting the worst and by worst I mean $$$... to fix. They called me one day later and the fix was less that $100.00 parts and labor! I was floored! I needed a faster turn around so I looked for other places in the DFW area but the ones I checked on wanted to nickel-and-dime me and didnt want to give me a quote without a charge if I did not want to agree to their quote. I heard about Drones Plus. I spoke with a young man named Boren in Service and he convinced me I have contacted the right company. He made it clear to me that if they could not fix my drone there would be no charge and most were fixed within 24 hour turnaround. I was very pleased and drove 53 miles one way. And there I set Ervin.. the man who fixed my drone within an hour! The amount was less than quoted and all of my issues or repaired. Thank you so much to drones plus! You are my drone repair facility from now on!

Well classic this is what happens when you let your girlfriend fly your drone incident. And it ends as well as you think it does. I crashed into a tree and was freaking out until I found DronesPlus online (the ONLY drone repair store in the DFW area). They were a LIFESAVER and were able to fix the drone so quickly (in a day!) and relieve the stress of breaking such an expensive toy. I flew my mavic pro into a tree and broke the gimbal 72 hrs before heading out to colorado. In a panic and after trying to be hustled by another drone repair place in dallas i called Drone Plus Dallas and my mavic gad a new gimbal installed in 2 hrs for a price that was literally 80 bucks more than the part alone was on Amazon. I run a small business so i know customer service and Drone Plus Dallas is the place to go......this isnt a paid review so take it at face value!
