Came in to get a repair done early on during the pandemic on the front sight nub of my s&w m&p, was quoted like 90 bucks for ordering the sight nub and install and I agreed as the sights are very tall and hard to source.. they said it would take a week in a half or more as they were incredibly busy.Few days later the owner calls me and tells me he personally called his rep. At S&W and explained to them that as the gun was a performance center model geared toward competition there was no plausible reason for that sight to break how it did without the rest of of gun having significant wear, which it didnt. And he got me a FREE replacement so I only paid like 20 bucks for the install.Great Customer service and you can actually feel the pride they have for providing great service. They didnt have to help me out especially whilst experiencing unprecedented uptick in business. Bought a rifle recently and had a great experience. Will definitely recommend!!!

Thanks to Jeff and the staff at Best Shot we had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday with our friends! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time at the range, and were extremely accommodating. And I highly recommend the Gun Pong it was so much fun!

My wife and I went here to shoot her new pistol. They have a couples price of $22. Very reasonable. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The lanes are done nicely in wood and the target trolley is simple to use. There is also a mount on each lane to mount your video camera to. Nice touch. In the past Ive found myself getting hot at an indoor range. Here there are A/C vents at two different heights keeping the lanes very comfortable. A great place to go shoot. I plan on going back and trying out the rifle range.

One of the staff was very very very unwelcoming and unhelpful. went there to swap my A2 stock flash hider to a Surefire Warcomp and they charged me $40 plus tax (brought a different rifle to Texas Tactical Gear to do the same thing and i was charged only $20)

Had not been there in many years. Went yesterday and the people working there are very friendly and helpful, the range is just fine for pistols or rifles. Their pricing is good and a great atmosphere. Liked it so much that I went back today to submit my application to become a member.

Went here today with a coworker just for something to do. Brought my Mossberg 500, coworker rented a Ruger 1911 and a SW 9mm. Very friendly staff, and was really impressed with the quality of the stalls and the range itself. Very wide selection of both handguns and long guns to rent. Will be back if were this way again.

Excellent. I went on July 3rd around 7pm. The older gentleman who handled my transfer was extremely nice and made me feel welcome. I walked in after I was given a call it was ready and I was in and out in 10 mins.

The place was nice cant deny that. But its seriously overpriced for 3 people they charged us $160. And not to mention one of the guys that worked there had a sarcastic attitude about anything we would ask him. I wouldnt recommend this place. Just my opinion.

Ive been a member for nearly a year. Paid for annual family membership last year when it was steeply discounted. Ive been to this range approximately ten times since joining (including a visit 10/15) - there has been a six month lapse since my last visit due to COVID concerns.I am struck by the high turnover in front desk staff. Im sure there are reasons for this but it also makes me wonder what might be happening behind the scenes. Maybe just coincidence, but I dont remember seeing the same people behind the desk more than once or twice. And its clear the staff are new - or poorly trained - or both - as they often struggle with the ranges computer system, at least during my interactions with them (including transfers).The physical plant itself is just average as ranges go, IMO. Ventilation in the pistol side is below average, and thats being kind. Lanes have typically been clean, as is the retail side. There are a few tables in place to sit and/or get gear in place before/after spending time on the range. Thats a nice use of the available space.Yesterday I visited the range for the first time since early this year, mainly because I wanted to make a decision about whether to renew our family membership next month. My decision was going to be based on what I already had experienced + what I observed in terms of this businesss response to COVID. What I saw was truly disappointing.Staff members were not wearing masks. And I dont mean they had masks on but werent wearing them...they werent masked up in any sense of the word. I saw no signage or other indication patrons were required to wear masks in the retail area (range lanes offer some physical protection, albeit made poorer due to weak ventilation). I doubt there are any COVID-specific cleaning processes in place, but just because I didnt observe this it doesnt mean they arent doing it. I didnt get the feeling additional cleaning was important, though...I realize gun ranges can attract free spirits. But as responsible firearms enthusiasts often follow range rules strictly, ensuring safety for fellow range goers - why wouldnt this be extended to wearing masks in a pandemic (public areas, not necessarily during a range session while in a lane)? To my knowledge we are still under an extended, mandatory mask order for employees of businesses in Harris County.I dont see any effort to keep patrons safe in this pandemic, so I made the decision to make room for someone else at BSR by joining a different range. I really hope they get this rectified for the sake of customers, employees, and the community we all live in. And for the sake of this valued small business!

Went there for the first time last Sunday and had a blast. The team is very nice and friendly. I liked the range as well. Next time, Ill be checking out the rifle range!

Great family friendly range! Staff is great and knowledgeable in the profession. Ammo and guns are priced appropriately and selection is vast and if they dont have it they can get it. Best range for the money will be coming back. Beats arms room hands down they treat you like family not like customers!

Went today 6/27/2020. First time I walked in the two guys made eye contact with me then walked away. Had to ask the lady working to help us. We got “on the list” for an hour wait and gave them our phone number. Come back an hour later and they asked for our name, so we may never have actually been on the list. Either way when we came back that 2nd time the two guys were too scared to talk to me? The lady said it would be another hour (they were closing in 75 min) so we basically wasted the evening. Looked like a nice range but throughout the entire experience it just felt like the staff didn’t want us there.

I like this place, its a clean friendly environment. Very helpful staff. They may not have every gun made, but they do have the ones that matter.

A little more expensive than some other ranges... this range has clean facilities, and helpful courteous staff. Its more than worth it for the little more you spend.

Nice place except the ear protection they gave me didnt help and my ears were hurting. I recommend bringing your own. Most of their eye protection was scratched too. The guy that works there was really nice though and helped us out with everything.

Refused to sell me ammunition unless I was going to shoot in their range. Which defeats the purpose of buying ammunition for home defense 🤔. Will not return to or recommend best shot range .

Nice range, not a big selection of guns though. The owner is a stand up guy and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If they dont have it in stock they offer to get it for you. When the new owners took over this range they made a ton of improvements. On the southeast side I would recommend them above the Arms Room, Marksman, Pasadena Gun Range. You get personal service at affordable prices.

This is my first time of visiting since they renovated the place. The renovations are excellent. The Show room is open and spacious, no more clutter. The Lanes on the Pistol Range are done up in wood. It feels very upscale. The Staff as always was great to talk to and very helpful. Great place for first time shooters, and for seasoned gun guys. Great place to handle your transfers. $30 for a transfer and you get a free day at the range, Plus only $10 for each additional gun transferred on the same day ( up to 4 guns ). If you havent visited this range in a while I highly recommend you check it out. The improvements were worth the wait.

I became a member (couples package) & have been over a dozen times now. Its been A+ so far with no issues.

Excellent customer servise. My daughter and I went to buy a riffle. the store was full. Matt spent more than 45 minutes explaining how to use it and which riffle is the best option for Us. Matt gave us multiple options pros and cons, He let us try the riffle and he personally explained to my Daughter how to use it. Also he recommended other options with no personal interest. Been going there for years, love it. Took my CHL class there, great experience. The staff dont stand over your shoulder like some places, they have faith that you dont need a babysitter on the range.

Overall nice place to go shooting.Pros: Clean place, looks nice, and has great informative staff. Has large variety guns for rent. Restrooms are clean and have a shower. Useful in emergency situations in need to rinse of face. Offers eye and ear protection.Cons: Poor ventilation. If more than 3 pistol ranges are occupied the area easily becomes encased in gun exhaust that has no where to go. It becomes worse with more people. Ive been to other indoor ranges that dont have this issue. However there is constant A/C air which helps with the issue.Rifle range is very small and feels very cramped. Same issue with ventilation.Brass ammo only.A bit pricey.Depending on the amount of people in the handgun range a shotgun may not be used.

Great place. Facility is clean and maintained; staff is helpful. I had to wait one time for around 15 min for a stall to open up and they only charged me for the targets for having to wait. MUCH better place than the Arms Room where Ive always had to sit and wait.

Very well kept range with super knowledgeable and helpful staff! My favorite range I’ve found in the area thus far. They have a rifle range and a pistol range, both of which were pretty well kept up. Great selection of rental guns as well! Will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, knowledgeable. never had to wait long to get into a lane. Best shot is an FFL means they can receive shipments from other dealers. They have reloads available and several targets to choose from. Hearing and eye protection available. License to carry classes, youth training. Recently upgraded the lanes and renovated the inside. They also have weekly specials for the casual person to save a few bucks.

I have been here a half dozen times. Good place to shoot and they continue to improve their facilities. Bought a gun from them, best price I could find and excellent customer service during the purchase.Wish they would do away with the membership cards...but apparently just about everywhere has them now...ugh.

Went today with my cousin and girlfriend. Staff was courteous and professional. While the pistol range isnt the most spacious Ive seen, it was bright and seemed to have good ventilation. Also, this is a great place to shoot your rifle indoors and are open late and open Sundays. No real complaints, Ill be back.

Took a gun in thinking it needed repairs because it was jamming a lot. I havent been able to use the gun reliably for a couple of years now but finally decided to have it looked at. To my surprise it only needed a thorough cleaning. I appreciated them letting me know and not recommending any repairs that werent really needed. Very professional, friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Went there for the first time just to try them out. They were completely unwelcoming, unhelpful and unacommidating. Ive visited shooting ranges all over the country and this was by far my worst experience. Do yourself a favor save your money try another range. Ask yourself, who writes a bad review about a shooting range? Must have been pretty bad.

They need to learn to follow up and call back customers in a timely fashion. They also have problems answering the phone. Other than those two important factors a relatively decent range.

I use Best Shot range for all my FFL transfers. The process is quick and painless. I wouldnt use any other place for the transfers.I cannot comment on the range itself because I am a member of a shooting club and we have an extensive out door range that I use even in the heat and cold.

I have shot here once before and they have a good range, but the review is mainly to praise their CHL renewal class. This class was very informative and taught by a very nice gentleman by the name of Matthew, he went above and beyond trying to explain everything and made the class something worth attending, and not just a chore to renew my license, thank you for that Matthew and Best Shot Range.Update 7/28/2013: range fees went up, their quality stayed the same which was low even for $8 range fees. That being said I would rather go to someplace that is worth the $14 that I spent on range fees. If you want me to come back to you range, you gotta install a better AC unit at your range and have a better target holder.

Cant shoot faster than 3 seconds a shot. So if you have a semiautomatic rifle, dont expect to be doing any rapid fire shooting. Would go back if I had something that isnt semi-auto to shoot.

Great customer service, indoor benchrest rifle range is very nice. I know it says $15 per hour, but from my experience, if no-one is waiting for a lane, then no-one is forcing you to leave after an hour. All around great place to shoot.

Then you decided to steadily depart from the mom & pop atmosphere.Yeah, the range is immaculate and the place looks amazing, but that doesnt excuse things like not allowing qualified people to draw from a holster, or shoot more than 1 round per 3 seconds on the rifle range. A lot of us need to practice from more than just a bench or table. Yeah, I get that insurance probably would prohibit that, but Ive seen some shady people there and some others who have no clue as how to operate a firearm.THE ABOVE DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY CLASSES GIVEN BY MATT.

Found this place today and was pleasantly surprised at the pricing, service, and facility. Pretty much the only publicly available bench-rest shooting setup indoors for shooting long guns. Ill be coming back.

Great range and staff. The wooden shooting lane dividers make me nervous. I prefer brick of metal dividers.

Good price. Nothing fancy but not ugly. Sufficient for you to do your thing. Bri.g your own bullets to save a couple bucks but they do sell ammo to clarify.

AWESOME place. I went in there with a friend (both of us have no firearm experience) to get some shooting experience. I knew how to use a glock from only watching others, but I wanted to give it a try for myself and they were understanding of that. Lane + pistol rental was very reasonably priced; the ammo is where it gets a bit expensive. Anyway, the range is really nice and easy to use. It did get a bit smokey in there after a CHL class came in, however.The employees I dealt with were super nice and friendly, and very helpful and eager to teach me some tips on aiming and shooting. Glad I went here for my first time. Definitely going back to try out the rifle range.

So for all of ya who are wondering where to go or if its even your first or 100th time, this is the place to go. Today was actually my first day and the staff did what was above and beyond their job. They are well experienced and you get whatchu pay for (and more in a sense). They told me how to zero out my scope and they even have (wonderful ammo for a great price). They have a specific place for rifles (I personally used a Remington 783 308 win rifle and it was a great experience. Cant wait till next time...: (This is the place to go to when your looking for the BEST range here in Houston)

If this is your first time to shoot THIS is the place to go. You pay a little bit more, but you do get QUALITY.If you are looking to run pistol drills from a holster, sorry....not allowed. The rifle range is bench-rest and slow fire only. Its great for zeroing a rifle, but for training, its not. Greentip M855 ball is forbidden as well as aluminum casings.2 star deducted for the holster rule and rifle range rules.

Nice range and pro shop. Very friendly and informative staff. Old complaints of the ventilation and A/C have been rectified, cuz its nice & cool with vent fans humming along. A little hard to find the first time, but worth repeat trips.They also have a pretty good variety of rental guns to try out so you dont make an expensive mistake on a gun you are not comfortable with.And theyre Beretta dealers. Nuf said.

My wife and I are new to gun owning but we really like our local range and feel quite fortunate. Nice range, friendly and helpful folks. I would say my only frustration is having purchased guns transferred to the store. The store is not the best at informing their customers the status of merchandize actions like when FFL info is sent to a store or letting customers know when their purchase has arrived. You have to always call them. So communications could be better.

I shoot here 3 to 5 times a week. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and friendly. A bit pricey, but for the service and atmosphere, the money is worth it. I fully recommend this range to any shooter, beginner or Sharp shooter.

Nice place for shooting your pistols. Rifles can be shot here but the range is on the short side and they do not like rapid fire.
