I loved Dunn Brothers Coffee for years and used to be a regular customer at this location. However, the attitudes of the employees are what made me lose interest in this coffee shop. The baristas are not as friendly as they used to be, and some of their behaviors are just unacceptable. During my recent visit, I was given a small beverage when I ordered a large beverage. The barista was clearly irritated with me when I informed her of this error, and the eye-rolling made me very uncomfortable. I was then asked to leave a tip. I cannot think of any other food establishments that actually ask for tips, especially after such bad service. I cannot see myself returning in the future. It really is a shame because this used to be my favorite coffee shop.

Great breakfast food! Had the build your own biscuit with Turkey bacon. It was excellent, will return often!

I love Dunn Bros. But this one is rough. I ordered a bag of beans, where the bag was a little ripped and didn’t say what kind it was on it. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but it’s supposed to be a gift for someone. Then, I received a cup of luke warm watered down coffee. Very disappointed with this experience.

Not open when they said they would be. No indoor service drive up only. Not much of a coffee shop. Go somewhere else.

The baristas, & all staff, as well as the owner, are all super friendly, & provide excellent customer service. Coffee beans are roasted fresh on site, & they have the best tasting coffee! I have travelled past many a coffee shop, to get my coffee at Dunn Bros.

We walked in and immediately walked out beacuse this particular facility had a stale or compost smell. I couldnt smell the coffee. There was a lingering stench in the air I couldnt stand. Because of that I couldnt bring myself to buy the coffee either. I am not sure where the smell was coming from, possibly from the liquor store next door, I dont know. Overall I wouldnt visit this facility again.

Awesome, just the FN best! They had just roasted beans that night, nothing comes close. Also got 3 different pastries for breakfast. Cant say enough about these guys and gals...

Definitely my favorite chain coffee shop. This location has great service from what Ive experienced, and I love the atmosphere.

I think Dunn Brothers has the best regular coffee of the coffee shops. It may not have the variety of some of the bigger names but prices are a bit lower. The flavor is hearty without being heavy or bitter. Foofoo coffee drinks dont reach the ridiculous here.

Great coffee shop

After a rough start to my morning, I swung through the drive through at this Dunn Bros to get my morning coffee, with cream and sugar of course. I received my order promptly, which was quite helpful on getting me to work on time, and upon tasting my coffee I was so pleasantly surprised to find that not only had they added the cream and sugar I requested, but they had also stirred it all in for me! This should be standard service at any coffee shop, but this time was honestly the first time Ive received such service and such an absolutely delicious cup of coffee at any coffee shop. This Dunn Bros will definitely be receiving my delighted business often!! Thanks ladies!!

The baristas at Dunn Brothers are always very nice and helpful. The coffee is great and though I dont usually relax there at the coffee shop the atmosphere seems very relaxing. And also it smells wonderful.

We love this Dunn Bros!! We go almost every morning. Everyone is always friendly. When we go through the drive through they always are so sweet to our puppies and give them treats. Oh, and the coffee is outstanding, always!!

Brewed coffee is great and the staff is very nice even if its busy. One star lost for bad cold brew. Unless youre going with an iced nirvana, this is not the location for knock your socks off cold brew.

Great people serving great drinks in a great atmosphere with great food. As an ex-employee I can say the drivethru speaker system is very hard to hear and understand from both ends, but besides that it is a great place to work and to have coffee

The Lavendar Vanilla Latte had a slight taste of mint. I would recommend this or the Lavendar Vanilla Fog for an uplifting treat.

Waited over 15 mins in the drive through before I finally had to leave. There were 3 cars ahead of me when I go there. Usually get really good coffee here, but the service is crazy slow.

I waited for my coffee for around 8 minutes. After that, I noticed she had made the wrong drink and I ask her if she could remake my drink. She rolled her eyes and said that she made it right the first time but she would remake my drink. I dont know what her problem was or if this is just how the employees are. But I do know I will not come back.

Always great service and great ambiance. I love this coffee shop and commend them for bringing great coffee culture to the community. Its a great place to meet a friend any time of the day. My review would be a full five stars if not for the fact this franchise-owned location does not have a bike rack, yet is situated on a mixed-use path (path next to University Ave) and just a mile from the iconic MN River Trail. In their defense, this community is not very bike friendly--not even Wal-Mart has a bike rack.Another suggestion: get nitro cold press. Dunn Bros was the first of the Twin Cities coffee brands to sell cold press mixed drinks. Nitro would be a great addition.

Dont go with a $50 bill or higher, they DO NOT accept them per management...annoying and inconvenient since I just came from the bank and thats all I had, so to go back to the bank or just forget the order all together...I asked why and she said too many counterfeits going around, I asked about having a marker and holding them up to the light etc, she said they have a marker...so I still dont get it, just cant trust your employees to use the marker and check? Inconvenient, wont go there again, money is money.
