Local cozy store, convenience store yes but they do mean a liquor store. over the years theyve expanded within their means and i like the direction theyre taking. Be patient they do the best they can with upgrading their Point of sale, and maybe sometimes they dont know exactly what youre asking for.

Doesnt stay open after ten or eleven, I know would make lots of money if they were 24/7, or until 2:30 am at least.

They scammed my boyfriend of his money, they charged him a higher price than what was actually labeled and the co cashier simply said you got scammed bro and the cashier that aided him left the cashier quickly. Do what you want with this info.

This Liquor Mart has more then most neighborhood store and their prices are not like other local store very reasonable and very helpful staff.

My first time here, the man behind the counter seemed to instantly have a problem with me because I asked about the price on an unmarked item. I just went a second time and he told the lady in front of me I wasnt his friend... The hell? Dude, I just bought a pack of smokes, said thank you and left. Ill never be back and I work right across the street so I probably wouldve been a regular. He was talking on the phone the whole time he rung me up. So, yeah, not cool.

Decent customer services, they change prices on stuff to much though, if they feel like charging you more one day they will. I prefer king liquor. I like how they close later though, so that’s a plus.

Convenient place to stop but very rude people who wk there

The only store open in the neighborhood after 10pm. The service is fast and convenient so if you are new to the area and thirsty, why travel down the street, when you can go around the corner.

I went into the Broadway Liquor store 5-2-17 for the lst time today. I had been referred to them by the person on duty at Check and Go because the check I wanted to cash was only for 120 dollars. I sale my antique ceramic collections for fun money each month at the Consignment store. I am disabled and retired but use to be an educator in the bay area. The Check and Go lady had quoted a 10 dollar fee for the cashing of the 120 dollar check and I wanted to find a place with a lower fee for such a small check. I did not want to drive back up Shaw to Blackstone to attempt to cash the check because the shopping I wanted to do was in stores below Brawley. From the moment I spoke to the female working as cashier in Broadway I felt that the man behind the counter did not want to do business with me and I felt that it was because I am a Black female. I notice Blacks walking into to by food items but I guess as a Black you can buy from them but cannot take advantage of other services they offer. They spoke to each other in their foreign language (which was rude) and then she turned to me to say that they did not cash the checks of new customers. As I started to ask the question “why”, a dirty filthy white homeless man interrupted asking for a bottle of vodka. The cashier immediately started to ignore me and went to help him. I hope that all fair minded people will avoid doing business with this store. They have two sites listed and I hope that they end up losing both if that is how they handle customers. I plan to report this to the state agency that governs check cashing businesses.
