The clerk seemed a bit busy with his own affairs but who isnt these days. Still friendly overall organized clean environment.

This is my favorite corner store. Its right across the street from both my moms apartment, and my grandmas, right down Fulton. Whenever Im visiting either of them, I frequent this store. They have the best prices for cigarettes and a better selection of items than Id expect for a store with a much bigger competitor at the next corner, at Broadway. Before Covid-19, they also allowed the disabled customers from Silvercrest (where my grandma lives) to bring their small, well- behaved dogs in with them. Im not sure if they still can, or if other people were allowed to do this. It was really nice being able to ensure that my grandmas little dog wouldnt be gone when I finished shopping, although there is always a helpful neighborhood character outside willing to watch her while I shop. Thats the best thing about this store. The people. The owners, clerks, shoppers, and loiterers are all like family. Its never a hassle to give someone my spare change, and theres never any pressure to, since I often shop with a card, and dont have any to spare. If I have something to give away, I bring it by here first, if I cant find someone who wants it, Catholic Charities is right down Fulton.

Monif Market carries a wide selection of food items and household consumables, all at a very reasonable price. The selection of sweets — such as cookies — is of an extraordinary variety, for any Small store. The regular food items are of a great selection, too. I would recommend going in the daytime, as a concern for safety when visiting in the Local Scene, candidly.

I dont there very very rude also thay have no filter and no people skills .I went on Tuesday night &it was almost closing time and the young boy ask me in a rude way what kind of cigarette I wanted when I know I said it clear enough so when I repeated the brand I order he just starred at me like I was the the devil or wor she really true story plus them damn cigs are going up two dollar on Saturday this sat good bye Marlborough 100s he did me a huge favor am going cold turkey on Saturday: 28 yes of smoking thanx buddy for being rude.

I live up the street go here all the time and the milk is bad 96% of the time! The younger guy he makes it right, a fair guy! The older guy, he over charges me every time he is working acting as if he hasnt! Dont go in the morning old guy working, afternoon/evening younger guy is working he is a pretty cool dude!
