Cakes are delicious if you order them a day before, but the ones they have on the shelf Im not sure. The lady that decorates the cakes needs to be more polite. I know they may feel overwhelmed for so much work but most of people works hard too!

I spent more time in line to pay that gathering my items. The quality of the produce is excellent and the bakery is supreme. Again, be ready to stay in line for at least 20 minutes including the Express Line (15 items or less).

I stopped coming here few years ago because of bad service and the food was not up to par...but decided to try once again ...and I can honestly say...cleanliness and service and food products are awesome! Thank you whoevers the new management GREAT JOB!

I bought some bone in chicken thigh and it smells really bad. this wasnt the first time. there was one other time a lady and I showed up at the same time because the meats werent good. was giving it a second chance but I will not be buying meats from here again. Ive been trying to get a hold of a manager several times but they will not answer the phone anymore.

This place is overcrowded and the cashiers are super slow. The only saving grace is the customers must wear masks. If their were no masks required and if you had to stand in those Super slow and long lines...There would be trouble!!!Avoid this place anytime after 3:00 PM!!-Its a madhouse basically anytime after 3PM on any day of the week. No produce or groceries are worth the aggravation of being inside of this place during the peak hours.

Stopped by before work. Waited 20 minutes for the store to open. Once open, I just needed a birthday card for a co-workers birthday party. After walking the store 2 times, I asked a store employee where the cards were. I was told we dont sell any cards here. Wow. You have fifty different types of birthday cakes in 2 languages, but not a single birthday card, in any language. By the time I found out there werent any cards, it was too late to go anywhere else but work...

Good place to get hispanic foods and fresh meats. Meats are at a decent price and always fresh. Fruit and veggies are always being kept fresh with water mists and are always getting replaced when theyre not good anymore. Prices are always very low and well worth it. Till this day I havent had any complaints or seen something that Im not supposed to as a client. Hope it remains like this.

Vegetables are insanely cheap. 3 pounds of tomatoes for 99 cents?! Meat is also really cheap here, and is pretty good. The hygiene of the place needs some improvement, but other than that its worth coming here.

Went to this store about an hour ago and while in line to pay the person in front of me was being rude to the cashier simply because the cashier didnt separate something from her items the person had not even told the cashier to do so. The manager came and was trying to figure out what happened, the Person started tell lies about the issue so the cashier tried to say what really happened and the manager straight out told the cashier to SHUT UP!! I felt so embarrassed for this cashier and so angry at this manager! I dont care if your the owner of the store you dont talk to your employees that way! If you have an issue you call the employee in a private place NOT IN PUBLIC!! I will never go to this store again I dont care what I need. Extremely ghetto manager!! I will contact the main office but I doubt that anything gets done if they hire managers like this one!!

Food is not what it used to be, last 4 times we have gone to get soup from the deli. The broth tasted so watered down with no flavor. The corn tortillas were burnt, and ordered limon mint agua fresca and tasted like water with a squeeze of lemon. This was one of our favorite place to eat. Now it has become a place we will no longer buy food from. It has become a waste of money and time. I dont recommend El Super for your meal needs anymore. $31 for dissatisfaction, should have just gone to Jack in the box next door for lunch instead.

The prices for produce are great the prices for meat are great too however the cashiers have an ugly attitude they do not smile they dont even say hi to you an to top it off they make you wait to go get bags for your grocerys after you been in line for 15 minutes. This company needs to train their cashiers to be more polite to the customers because of us customers they have a job and they get their pay check also you need to train to have their cashier stand ready for customers like for example have bags ready for the customers. Regarding to whoever sees this, decent place, decent prices, I feel like some things are over priced & some good deals. Cashier was super fast which was a good thing. Customer service was right on. Her name tag was to high up couldn’t see the name but very polite. Only issue was I bought one six pack of Gatorade which came out to 7.99 when I seen I believe 4 something on the display. I looked at the receipt went back talk to the cashier, she informed me it was in a buy of two which is reasonable so I wanted both better offer, she told me to politely wait, until her manager comes. So I was there about a couple minutes, pretty long when it wasn’t busy at all. i asked the cashier if she could call her again, about 2 minutes I was greeted by this woman. Xóchitl asking what was the issue I informed her she kind of gave me this rolling eye face, which was pretty rude she came back with the Gatorade I wanted & slammed it on the counter & told me next time read the bottom because it’s a hassle to do returns when their busy. Which I could inform you there was no lines. After the transaction was done she handed me the receipt in a rude manner & started laughing with another believe manager. With that customer service I for sure won’t be coming back. I only good thing was some of the prices & cashier !!!!

I used to love coming here until one of the managers started acting hostile because of a coupon we used over a year ago. They had the product but it wasnt on display so instead of opening it up and bringing it she restoked the whole shelf while we waited for her, took about 10 minutes because she was taking her time and would take breaks to read the label.

Fantastic prices on produce. On weekends is super busy & extremely long check out lines. They never have all the lanes open. Shopping carts in parking stalls. Being disabled & not being able 2jump out & move a cart 2park is extremely frustrating. Kids running around & used my walker & myself as a toy. I kept telling them no & their parents were no where in site. I dont speak Spanish & they didnt speak English. If it werent for the cheap produce I would not go back. I try 2go in late morning b4 lunch rush at their deli & not on weekends

Always incredibly long lines. Limited selection of cereal. Great bakery and Mexican style deli(?). Unimpressed by the produce. I dont think Ive ever gotten through the checkout in less than 10 min (and Im talking about at least 15 visits). I only brave the lines if Im craving something from their bakery, which includes lots of cakes, Mexican cookies, muffins, sweet loafs, rolls & breads.

This place has decent sales, but frankly the customer service sucks! I dont make it a habit going here, because of it. They never seem to have the things on sale (meat) in stock.

Hi millenial here. Ive been comming to this store since I was the screaming kid wanting candy and Ive gotta say now that Im 20 and have experienced life. This store is the crappiest grocery store. Buissness model is meant to frustrate you. Long lines. I dont think Ive ever been to this store where there wasnt a line I had to wait in. Today I went for a candied apple. JUST an apple from the bakery. What i thought would be a quick treat to eat was now a 45 minute wait. I went to the bakery. Was told rudely to pay for it in line, not given the ticket and to my suprise sent back to bakery. Got the price tag ticket. Had to wait in line AGAIN. The lane closed on me as i was the next in line. As I tried to explain my frustration. I was told sorry. Im trying to purchase something from your store let me! Its no secret this store is a hot mess. And never once have I seen all the lanes being utilized. This buissness model is all skewed. Either put up a self check out or utilize all the registers. When I reached the bakery again with my newly acquired receipt after yes much frustration and people bumping into me in a NOT COVID-19 FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. I was ignored on arrival. I literally had to say hey, oh hey can you help me. None of the ladies helped me. I show my receipt. Ignored. Im flapping it. Oy, me pueden audar?? Flapping my receipt around like a crazy person. This isnt a language barrier this is workers blatantly ignore a service they should be performing. And for the sake of an argument lets say it was. How long would I have had to stand there before I get the service I ALREADY PAID FOR. Maybe because Im 20 year old female who looks like she should have came with her mother. But Im not, hello Im an adult, attend me. I am not trying to purchase something. I ALREADY PAID FOR IT GIVE IT TO ME. It should not take me this long to buy a chocolate covered apple. Which was browning may I add. I went through this belittling, frustrating, and quite honestly avoidable ordeal for a bruised apple Im certain if I went in to exchange it or even BUY another I would flip out. As Ive been shown this store has terrible hospitality and no reguard for its consumers time. An utterly terrible experience. Lets get workers who dont ignore customers El Super. Let set up an express lane for small batch of items. Lets utilize all the lanes. Lets have a register in the bakery. Lets add arrows on the store floors so the traffic flows better. Lets put up 6ft apart signs so people arent bumping into me. Theres a reason the demographic to your store hasnt changed in the 15+ years Ive been going. Its because you dont cater to us. You dont cater to anyone. If you did your prices wouldnt be so inflated. (Up to a 20% mark up I noticed when compared to walmart prices) You are a monstrous company that preys on people who cant defend themselves. Thus this will probably be the last time I step foot in your store until something changes. I hope all the millenials reading this take my advice and stay away. Get it together El Super.

Has really great specials, in particular on Wednesday they mark down the produce significantly, disadvantage to that is that the store is overflowing with customer who want to save. They’re produce is fresh, I rarely purchase from the deli/meat section so I can’t provide my opinion. The only downside to this store is the constant boycotting outside, all the time.

As we walked in it was easy to get a cart. The clerks were smiling and greeting us right away. I noticed the prices were easy to read and everything was in its department. Planty of bags to go around nice place to get groceries and fast service

My experience was not so great... My husband and I went in separately and my husband didnt know I went to the restroom. As he waited he was somewhat harassed by a worker inside.. Asked a number of questions and followed around the store. Now El Super is a Hispanic ran and operated store were African American suppose that had something to do with it? Just saying... No African Americans worked there and none shopping either. I wouldnt shop there after that experience

This store has a good produce section. The main problem here is that the lines are extremely long and theres never enough cashiers to ring you up and check out. So at times you are in line long than it took to actually shop for what you came for. There is also protesters outside.

Most if not all Mexican cooking ingredients are here also difrent breads. My latest visit the cashier was rude (maybe she needs to learn manners or customer service skills) my wife even noticed that. I would give a five star if they give the cashier a pep talk.

Fruits and vegetables are not fresh as advertised. I would compare it to TJ minus the fact TJ still looks cleaner and people have respect enough to say excuse me... This was my first time ever going and last. Parked my few items and left Im so disappointed...

Good deals, BUT I bought a couple of items and there was no self pay or express lane like 15 items or less , 4 lanes open and packed they have like 10 lanes at least all closed I dont think I will be going here again.
