The customer services sucks. The workers make you feel stupid and have no knowledge of customer service. The worker said that he couldnt help us with finding the tractor oil filter. He did not even listen to what we were telling him. He offer to help someone else and helped them instead of us. Well that the last time we will buy a tractor or anything from this place. I wont go there until the customers service changes. The owner needs to look into the complaints. Too many people are complaining about the services.

This was a retirement party for the gentleman in the white shirt after 43 years of service manager hes going to retire the rest of the gentlemen along side of him two Air Force buddies station together same base for 2 years other person is a brother of the gentleman that was in the Air Force delicious dinner great atmosphere at Fresno equipment

I bought a $9k dollar mower there and it works well. You wont find this caliber of equipment at big box stores. The staff are organic and down-to-earth folks. Go John Deere!

My father had his tractor taken to this place to get serviced and he got ripped off. They initially wanted to sell him a transmission but after talking to my brother they couldnt get either my brother or my dad to bite. Transmission would have been 14 grand to overhaul and rebuild (which was the same as a rebuilt unit according to them). So after diagnosis they came back and this time instead of calling my brother like they were suppose to they called my dad. He understands english but cannot speak it well. So they call my dad and told him instead of 14,000 it will only be 5300 for parts and labor. Well if you tell anyone they are paying less thats always good news right? Wrong! They charged him 24 hours worth of labor for diagnosis and repair. Two hours for diag and twenty two hours for repairs alone. They told my father they had to do a transmission teardown to figure out the problem and blah blah blah. They said after all that they found the rear brake disc inside the final drive to be worn out causing fluid contamination and starving the transmission of fluid by clogging up the pickup screen. They made it sound like it was a difficult and time consuming repair. My father and stepmom agreed with the repair thinking this place is honest and wont screw anyone over. So then after paying the bill and looking at the parts where it was located we felt my dad got ripped off and got taken advantage of. We called a couple reputable john deere authorized repair facility in california and found out the repair should have taken 8 hours to replace the rear brake disc inside the final drive. So then we called back and spoke to Harry the service manager. When we asked him about the labor time for the repairs and he didnt have an exact answer for us. We simply asked him how long the job took and how much of that labor was from the rear final drive brake disc replacement. He said he doesnt know and the time we were charge was what they felt was necessary to charge. So we ask him if they have any reference guide as to how much they would charge customers, and he continue to ignore the answer. He said there are big and small tractor and some are harder to work on than others so they just charge us according to what they want. So then we ask if they follow john deere labor reference guide and Harry with the store manager deny any knowledge of that book. They continue to say that they can charge whatever they feel like charging. Excuse me but there labor reference guide to protect the consumer from being overcharge for labor repair. You cannot charge a customer 22 hour if the job (john deere the manufacturer itself) states it should only take 8 hours. They charged us an extra 12 hours that they cannot account for. And at $114/ hour, that is not cheap. I can understand a couple hours over the 8 hour. But seriously? 12 additional hours? Cmon! These people are crooks to say the least. They hide behind john deeres name to mask their money stealing ways. The sad thing is there are no bureau that governs the consumer issues in the tractor repair industry like the automotive world that has BAR. Consumer affair in california does not protect the consumer and you would just have to take it up in a small claims court. Thats what these crooks want you to do. You get ripped off by them and they hope you dont take them to small claims court. Well, lol. We will have to see about that. The good thing is i will let everyone know how dirty these people are. I will put this up on social media for everyone to see. Do not do business with these crooks. Do your research and find out how much each repair normally cost and know what you are getting into before you get ripped off like my father. They never at any point mention what was being done on the tractor. They just gave my dad a price and basically told him “we found the brakes to be bad so thats how much it is.” Speaking to the store manager was no help either. He made it seem like we were trying to get the repairs done for free.

I am a new customer. I am repairing a John Deer engine at I-5 and Belmont. Yes I know that there is a John Deer dealer on West Nees. The Fresno store is clean inside an out, with lots of parking. Easy parts ordering and pickup. Older counter person named Dave is very knowable. Never had a problem with parts purchases.... but then again I am old too.

I have a newly purchased John Deere D140 lawn tractor that I took to Fresno Equipment Company for service because the motor was surging and shutting off when warm after a week at the dealer they could not find anything wrong but the seat safety switch in which they replaced. It was then ready for pickup so I went to dealer to find my lawn tractor sitting in the warehouse with the hood open debris sitting on the floor board and lifted the seat to see the new seat safety switch and found Mechanic tools with the old switch still sitting there. I then tried to start the tractor to see how it was running and did not start come to find out they ran the tractor out of fuel from a full tank. I took the tractor home put fuel and tried to run it and the deck belt snapped. I bought a new belt ran the tractor and still having the same surging problem. I opened the hood to find that my fuel lines were taken apart and put back and clamps were loose and not placed back were they originally were. Luckily the lines did not come off and fuel spilled causing a fire. I dont know how this place conducts business like this. There needs to be more attention to detail. Unfortunately I do not trust taking my tractor to this location anymore and will drive farther for better service.
