99 cents stores carry fresh produce, some frozen foods and dairy products, canned goods, health and beauty supplies, pet supplies, hardware, party supplies, home decor, and laundry and cleaning supplies. Its a good place to find new items to try at a great value as well as stocking up on every day food items.

I bought a cat bed fully enclosed and the Cashier asked if I wanted a bag I said no, can you just put them in here. She would not place my items in it! she said can you! I have a line. She had a second to do this as I was paying but she refused to! Rude! I even stated I asked you to put them in this. her reply was I can’t understand you!

I always find great deals here. They had pumpkins here for $1.99 each.

It used to be a good place to shop 2-3 times per month. I would go in and browse around and spend between $30-$40 depending on what good things I would find in the freezer section. But now its just not the same. It started off when they started selling gallon milk and cartons of eggs for more then 99¢ and that was actually convenient, then they suddenly started selling all kinds of stuff for more then 99¢ and now they have more items over 99¢ then they have for 99¢. It totally ruined the experience.I stopped in the other day for the first time in over a year because I figured I could get a few of my usuals from the freezer section at the very least but even some of that stuff has changed. I did find one freezer item that looked interesting enough to put in my basket. Birthday cake cool whip. Havent tried it yet so not sure if it was a good buy or not. Other then that I got some cereal and some juices. Spent a total of $13 which is about $25 less then what I used to spend on each visit.

Very low prices although not everything is .99 cents anymore. They changed their pricing a few years ago. They do carry produce unlike Dollar Tree. Always worth while to stop in & see what bargains you can find.

Fun to try different foods never heard of & not break the bank. Most work out good.. Most essentials priced right. Works for us seniors. Ill stay a customer..

Excellent clean store and very nice employees. Sure wish a 99c store would open up in my town of Coalinga. We could really use one besides our Dollar Tree. I prefer 99c stores.

Cleaner and better stocked than the other two stores Ive gone to in the Fresno area. The fresh produce and refrigerator section had better variety and stock also

Good prices. I usually go to get garden stuff. Gnomes, flags, decorations. Seasonal stuff is always cute, too. Tons of summer stuff for the kids

Too poor.I came here to vacation as it seemed like a beautiful city to come to, blooming with life and prosperity. I expected to see beautiful sights and wonderful things, but instead i was met with this poverty store.Why are the stores in this town just so poor. Its shameful.The residents of this town must cry themselves to sleep every night knowing they live in a country that has stores like these.I will never return to this store, as it has put a permanent scar on my view of the world and it has traumatized me. I will be seeking therapy in the the next 2 weeks or so. Please pick your act up and make more funds, this is just saddening to look at.

The stuff is always open still and they still get robbed from different people and today when I was trying to use the restroom I have to wait an hour next time you guys should give us the password to open the restrooms and yesterday there was Barely food in the freezer section and the lettuce in the lettuce section is rotten and some of the avocados look rotten too

The 99 cents is good because it has good for for not that much money needed but not as many things that people need but still good with food and drinks and school things

This place is manage by Nazi! They have Swastkas all over the Air Ducts and they are so understaffed that at any point customers could riot!... This poor kid asked 4 times if they could unlock the restrooms....But the prices are good for such poor Service...

Always have a lot of great deals. We usually start our shopping day here before hitting up other stores. My wife loves to get her holiday decorations here too. Weekends and paydays it can kinda busy and hard to get a shopping cart. I took off 1 star because yesterday there were no carts available because most of them were scattered around the parking lot and the wheels were locked.

Went early on Memorial Day 2020 for a?few things to finish my bbq. and was very crowded. Only had 2 cashiers open and took a long time just for bbq sauce.

Came in looking for paper clips and soap. Easy to find, plenty of higher end options youd find anywhere else. Friendly and courteous staff. In and out in about ten minutes! 👏👍👍😁

I have been going to 99 cent only stores in this area since they first opened up. Im really disappointed that they havent changed their name because everything, unlike the dollar store, is not the price in the name. You have to keep a keen eye on what they sell because I items can be up to $14.99 or more. There are some good deals to be found though.

Way bigger than the dollar tree by WinCo. Has produce and a couple food aisles. Lots to choose from and mostly everything is 99 cents. The highest item Ive seen is maybe $3 but well worth it. The quality of some items is actually pretty decent. I recommend getting gift bags and cards here for sure.

The cashier for tonight. I didnt get her name but she deserves a raise. She gave great customer service, friendly and made sure all needs were met before we left. I went in with my 1 year old daughter probably about 30 mins or less ago. Around 9ish. She noticed I didnt have an extra hand for my bag of ice so she asked if I needed help I answered yes please. She bagged it and asked if Ill be okay going to my car and I responded yes. She then told me okay and for me to have a good night.

This store has some cleanliness issues. At times they appear to be unorganized. Product is scattered about throughout the store. Some aisles are not stocked well at all. However, they offer great deals for .99 cents. Some items are priced differently than what you would expect. Very misleading. All-in-all, it is a pretty good place to pick up items you need in a hurry.

Always friendly staff and you cant beat the price.They do their best to keep it clean, but could do better with the smell from the homeless people peeing on the property. Dont get me wrong I feel for them but the property out side smells really bad sometimes.

Big store. Lots of items to look and buy. Sells frozen and refrigerated foods. Sells ice. Good electronics. Other items are sold for more than a dollar like 1.99, 2.99 and so on.

The ¢99 cents only store is a great place to shop before you hit up the big stores. Sometimes they have name brand items for a dollar, so well pick up what we need then do our regular shopping. Its a good way to save money.

This place was lacking this evening at 6 p.m. I have never experienced such poor management. All the shopping carts are all backed up way out in the south end of the parking lot. Then they are locked, so they will not push into the store. When I left 6 locked carts were barely inside the front door infront of the bagged ice.No one to unlock the now locked bathrooms.....Several women are waiting. As well as 1 dad & his son. The hand drier kept shorting out. I gave up on drying my hands.....and only 2 checkers....my cashier was nice. The check out lines were too long. The woman that unlocked the bathrooms was down right rude twice. I hope she was not in management. She is not a people person. 😥

How am I required to wear a mask when at least three patrons in line dont have them. Thats some either racist, biased or some ish. Ill check in tomorrow and if I see that again Im going legal.

Horrible! I was told by the cashier that they are no longer allowed to bag our items I had $100 worth of items that piled up on the counter. As I was quickly trying to bag my own things she started to ring up the lady behind me. Our things got mixed up I got home and Im missing several items I tried calling the store manager she wasnt available or she was too busy I tried calling corporate office they dont answer their phone.

Manager dont care about the costumers,they dont care give a good service,they need good managers!

I really enjoyed the unusually large selection of fresh produce and also good selection on frozen and refrigerated products.

This place only gets a mediocre rating from me because of the name of the store versus what they now carry. It was one thing to have gallons of milk for more than $1, that was understandable. But now theyre bringing in stuff that costs up to $6 placing it side-by-side with all the other dollar merchandise forcing the checkers to make sure you know that it cost more about than a dollar before they ring it up.

This place is very well kept and the cashiers are top notch. This is one of the best 99 cent stores in Fresno. Keep up the good work!

Here is my opinion about 99 cents store, I absolutely love shopping at all 99 cents stores, the only thing that bothers me is the fact that the check out lines are always long! It does not matter how many employees they have (which by the way are many) they always have only one or two registers open, which is why I try to avoid shopping at 99 cents stores, they are all the same! Long, Long, Long Lines! Very annoying! 😠👎

They have some great deals most of the time however they need to realize that its 99 Cent Store not 99 Cents and up. And the staff are quite rude there.

This has to be one of the greatest stores since Woolworths ..So they have snuck in some items that are 1.99 _ 4.99...they are generally well tagged so you know its the good stuff . I start here grocery shopping ..its one person household so small sizes are way great for 99¢ ...foods are fresh ...Now this place made my year in 2016. I was thrilled hostess.. a fav of all favs in my life...was sold 99¢ and fresher than the hostess outlet . Now ..I found out.. no its 2 for 99¢ and I got the manager to thank him. It always was and stil is..I buy the box full .. garden decor is cute this year. Bought my ultra picky daughter i5 succulent pots and she loves them. ( Thank you 99¢ ) The staff is so great at all of our Fresno locations. Some have super high incidence of thefts and the staff is cool about dealing with the ones they catch..so yes its a fav of mine

Hey what can I say I shop here a lot. You would ve surprised at the things youve been paying up for somewhere else is only 1 dollar here. I recommend LAs Awesome cleaner (the plain one) works great on floors, cuts grease better than anything on anything.

This store is great.. Its clean and you can find useally anything you need.

Friendly staff, shelves are stocked well and store is clean. Unfortunately the new change has been done to the restrooms. Certain vagrants have unfortunately taken that privilege of being able to walk into the restroom during business hours away. Now, you must let a staff member know you need to use the restroom and stand around and wait several minutes until an employee can punch in a code and let you in. Thats really the only downfall and is why I can only give 4 stars.

I was so surprised. This location is amazing on savings! Name brand makeup, to, many other things all $0.99, even found Hanes Panties in m6 size, you cant beat that, versus a place like Target or Walmart, I saved $5 by coming here! I come here to find great buys. There are always little unexpected treasures. It does get really busy here and there are usually lines. But not a big wait time.

The cashier really had problems today and seemed quit upset I refused an item that was $1.99 not 99 cents as advertised. There are I discovered several products over 99 cents but noting marked reflecting the correct price. Prices range $1.29-$1.99 on items not marked, Weights and Measures is going to be very happy to give them a visit soon.

Long lines twenty costamers in two lines and wouldnt open a nother line, asked manager why she was running the lines so long.was told to leave the store before she called the police and have me arrested for shoplifting. There is lots of variety. You can get produce, frozen and refrigerated foods, housewares, cleaning products and school supplues. The store is clean and well organized.
