The Cinderella Cellar did the alterations for my wedding dress, the process was fast and much more affordable than I thought it would be. She also has a selection of beautiful wedding gowns in a range of styles, I wish I would have started my dress shopping here.

Number one bridal shop stop!I came here to find a bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding and found the perfect dress and got engaged soon after. I knew I did not want a Davids Bridal experience. I also had heard she was one of the few shops who carried dresses in plus sizes which mattered to me because I didnt want to feel like a sausage in too small dresses.I came in and tried on tons of gowns, Doreen picked some based on what styles I told her. She has different belts and accessories to try with your dress. I fell in love with two dresses and made a decision. We paid half and when I got home I looked back at the photos and realized the dress I really wanted wasnt the one we picked. I reached out to Doreen immediately and she said it wasnt a problem.Loved my DIY experience at Cinderella Cellar. No hovering, no pushy sales people. Doreen is so sweet and she made everything perfect.Of course right before the wedding I freaked out again about the dress thinking it was too plain and I should have gotten something with more bling, so I bought some tulle sleeves on Etsy and a beaded belt and a petticoat from amazon. Doreen added the final touches I wanted, and my dress was amazing! So simple and perfect!They shipped the wrong size initially, and she made sure they sent the right size to her in a timely manner so my dress fit perfectly for my wedding day. Dorleen is the owner and runner of this beautiful place. She is a VERY nice and hardworking business woman. I had an EMERGENCY wedding dress situation and I needed it altered when there was only 5 days before my wedding. Dorleen has been doing alterations for 28 years and did mine when other places said no. She started and finished it in one day and it looked/ fit perfect!!!! She is so kind and does everything herself. It cost me 370$ for my alterations which is cheaper then some pay and my dress was a ball gown. She really cares about customers needs and wants to be there to help. Thank you Dorleen!

I wish I could give Cinderella Cellar more than 5 stars! I live out of state but knew I wanted to wedding dress shop with all the women in my family so we met up in my hometown (Fresno) to do it. Cinderella Cellar was the first (and only!) place we went and we had a wonderful experience! I had a few horrible dress shopping experiences and was about to give up, but Doreen worked her magic and I found my perfect dress at Cinderella Cellar. She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what size I should get (Im kind of between sizes) and recommended the option that would work best for me - not just what would make her the most money. The prices were very reasonable, and you know what youre paying for up front aka no hidden fees. I have so much respect for Doreen and she runs a respectful, genuine business that I love. I loved it so much Im doing my alterations there next time I fly home!Another huge bonus was that Doreen let me take the sample dress home to try on for my grandpa, who was unable to make it to the appointment. That meant SO much to me and my family, and he cried seeing me in my wedding dress (it was extra special because he wont be able to see me in it again since he cant attend my wedding in Colorado). This gesture was the kind of thing that you only get with a small, family-owed boutique and it only solidified my love for CC, Doreen and this whole experience :)Im so thankful I happened upon Cinderella Cellar on Yelp, it was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend any bride looking for a reasonably priced bridal boutique with fantastic customer service!

I got my wedding dress here. I had it shortened to tea length and she’s an amazing seamstress too. She is the most sincerely kind person I’ve ever dealt with in any bridal shop. I recommend her to all my friends because it’s the most personal shop to find a dress or accessories in Fresno. I first met her in 2003 when she was working out of her basement and have loved watching her business grow into the beautiful shop it is today.

Doreen is such a sweet, kind and patience woman - not to mention talented. I tried doing the online thing and going to other big retailers, but just felt like the dresses were generic and it was difficult ordering sample online to try on. I wanted something off the shoulder and found a great option here. I read so many awesome reviews about her seamstress work that it wasnt worth the potential to save few bucks to risk someone butchering my dress, because I knew my dress would be in good hands with her. I recommend this place as a great way to support local shops and you definitely will be treated very well!

I wanted to take a moment to absolutely GUSH about this place. The owner/seamstress was wonderful and a delight to work with. Even before I was a paying client, she invested the time to brainstorm ways to properly alter my wedding dress so that its integrity would remain unchanged. Upon meeting, I immediately felt at ease with leaving my dress in her care and would rate this business 10 stars if I were able to!

Doreen has truly been a fairy godmother from the first time I walked into her shop to today when I picked up my dress. I never felt pressured by her to choose a certain style or dress, which I really appreciated. I went to several beautiful bridal salons, but Cinderella Cellar was the perfect fit for me.For future brides/bridesmaids, Doreen runs the salon by herself so I recommend trying to come in during the weekday or early in the morning. Other than that, I highly recommend her.

Doreen at Cinderella Cellar does an amazing job! I highly recommend her for all of your alterations. She recently altered my wedding dress bringing it down 5 sizes and did such a fantastic job you would never be able to tell. She made sure every last detail was exactly how it should be and made sure it fit perfectly before I took the dress home. She also altered a bridesmaid dress for me a few years ago and again did an amazing job, ensuring the dress fit perfectly. I highly recommend her.

I found my dream dress here. Doreen was extremely helpful, kind, and patient. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, elegant, and had a wide variety of dresses to choose from. Doreen is also kid friendly and has toys available for kids to play with. My entire experience here was amazing, no pressure, and easy going.

I had been all over Fresno looking for the perfect dress. Doreen was so helpful. She was not pushy, just very patient with a picky bride. I found the perfect dress...to make it even better my wedding was only two weeks away and she was able to get me my dress in PLENTY of time. This was the best experience!

After much research about bridal alterations in Fresno, I decided to go with Doreen at Cinderella Celler, and it was a great choice! I did not purchase my dress from Doreen, but she kindly took on altering my dress. Doreen worked with my schedule and opened the shop for me on normally closed days. She quoted me and encouraged me to get quotes from other shops, which made me feel at ease to know she wasnt trying to overcharge me. She did a wonderful job altering my dress, and did her best to do as little alterations as possible to help save money. Also, the shop is adorable and clean, and from what I saw had a great dress selection. You and your dress are definitely in good hands at this shop, and you can see that Doreen truly values her brides and making them happy!

The visit started out good, she was friendly and helpful, closer to the end she was rushing us, and wouldnt let me try anymore dresses on. Honestly i will never go back, found a dress there that i liked a lot but i wouldnt get them from her. Brides try on a lot of dresses usually before deciding, and she was rushing us and didnt want to let me try anymore on, i was there less than an hour.. sad really.. i going to Davids bridal next time.

Doreen is very friendly and efficient. I brought my bridesmaid dress in a little late to be altered and she graciously accommodated me. She also helped to entertain my son while she fitted me! I would highly recommend The Cinderella Cellar for alterations.

She is absolutely amazing!! Not only was her customer service excellent her sewing skills are AMAZING too! I had bought a beautiful ball gown from another store and needed some expert alteration services. It was a dress about 4 inches to big and had a zipper. If I was going to pay to get it altered, I wanted a corset, not only is it great if you may have gained a little weight but, also a very sexy look! I had to have it done in a about a week. It was short notice for a lot of places but not for her! The color of my dress was an unqiue color so the about of time it would take to order and get there, I would have needed the dress for the event. She took the time to make my dream dress happen! I will never go anywhere else as long as she is in business! She really is your fairy God mother!!

Doreen has all the kindness of a Fairy Godmother and her skills outweigh that of a magic wand. I would not trust anyone else to alter my heavily beaded and sequined evening gowns. I want to give this place 5 stars, the service was great! I tried on a dress like the one I was looking for, although it wasnt the one I highly recommend people to go here! They have a large selection and the lady was super sweet and helpful! What I loved about this place the most is that I didnt have an appointment and I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she got me in the fitting room right away with different dresses of the style I was looking for.

This was a horrible experience for me. She was nice. However, she only had about 4 dresses for me to try on. She rushed the entire experience. I kept on hearing that is not your size over and over again. I am not a big girl. I am a size 8. I would say the average size. I cant imagine if I was any bigger. I walked out of this store feeling pretty bad about my body image. I would not recommend this place unless you are thin.

I found the wedding gown of my dreams at the Cinderella Cellar. The owner Doreen provides wonderful customer service. The space is intimate and warm and has great natural light and a fantastic giant mirror to see how the dress looks. Id recommend this boutique to any bride!

Wasnt for me. I usually enjoy personal owned stores but this experience I had at Cinderella Celler wasnt what I expected. The website and location I thought it was convenient. (I will add that Im not from the area but for a non local seemed good in location). Once I walked into the store it seemed crowded and a little disorganized. I was greeted and assisted with dresses to try on. Only real down fall was only one person working, felt to me she needed an assistant on hand to help with the store organization and customer help. Overall wasnt terrible, just needed more of a organization touch.

When shopping for my plus size wedding dress it was hard to find a shop that carried sample sizes I could try on. So when I found the Cinderella Cellar she made me feel very comfortable and confident while trying on her dresses. The owner Doreen was so nice and not only did she take her time with me but she also was great with my children and had toys to keep them occupied everytime I needed to go in. The dress I found was in my price range I also bought my vail from her at a great price, and she did my dress alterations herself which was also a reasonable price. My sister found her PERFECT wedding dress at Cinderella Cellar and it was not only beautiful, but it was very affordable. We had purchased the maid of honor dress online from overseas before we ever started wedding dress shopping. I took the dress to Doreen because even though I had ordered my size, the dress they sent was 3 sizes smaller. Doreen is a mircle worker and she added gussets to make the dress work since my sister loved it so much. However, 3 weeks before the wedding I had surgery and the day after I had my fitting. I was very swollen so Doreen and I agreed that the gussets would have to equal at least 4-5 in order to make it fit. It gets worse... then better! 2 weeks after my surgery I noticed that I was dropping weight like crazy... which was a good thing, but not for my dress. I called Doreen and told her... you may not need to put so much in. She ended up putting only 3 in... 1 1/2 on each side. The Monday before the wedding, I went to try the dress on... WAYYYYYY too big now. How frustrating Doreen must have been. But she remained professional and graceful the entire time. She worked tirelessly on the dress. The day before the wedding I came in and the dress was perfect. She had removed most of the gussets and realighed everything exactly right. Everyone at the wedding complimented the dress and how beautiful it looked. Thank you Doreen for a wonderful dress and being such a wonderful person to work with. No more nightmares of the green dress... Ha!
