Great selection. Great customer service. Very knowledgeable. I did an online transfer with them and their website made it very convenient to pay the fees prior to coming in and starting the background check. I was able to start the 10 day background check the same day it was delivered. Its a great shop.

I just bought a rifle from them yesterday. Whoever gave a bad review must have been a grumpy person. Dont listen to him if you want to buy a cheap gun then go ahead. But if you want a gun that will be there when you need it. Then every penny is worth it. Paid $1_ _ _.00 but there good people and i give 5 🌟👍✌️

This is an awesome place. Being new to the firearms world, I felt very welcome and left far more informed than I came in. The staff was very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. Customer service was amazing. Will continue doing business with this place and make recommendations here.

My husband went in there and the price for a Glock was massively over priced! We are currently on a small waiting list at another place with the same fire arm , and its actual price is where it should be. These people are rip offs and apparently taking advantage of its community during this time. I can understand small gun shops being poked and prodded at by the government in which that is definitely not okay. But neither is price gouging it’s customers. So sad.

New to reloading. So I felt completely lost on everything pertaining to it. They were extremely busy but got to me within a few minutes and the guy was very helpful answering all my questions. Walked out with smokeless powder, primers, primer tray, and felt like I had people who would help me with any other issues I might have.

Very poor customer service. Unwilling to work with you. Highly DO NOT recommend.Ordered an optic from PRK arms and after reading some reviews I decided it wasn’t what I wanted. So I asked PRK to cancel my order in which the did not respond to for a day or two and then they shipped it and messaged me back right after sending the shipping confirmation and said they could not cancel the order because it was already shipped. Then when I asked if I could return it they refused to accept a return.

The owner of PRK Arms was very helpful and nice. He explained the different types of guns and assisted me with buying my first Gun. i will definitely be going back to them for future purchases. i highly recommend them to anyone who needs education or assistance in purchasing a fire arm.

If you’re a first time gun buyer, I would not recommend this shop. The staff were very demeaning and rude when I had acquired information about purchasing a CZ PO1. Employees need better customer service training. I felt unwelcomed.

Great store but with the limited supply its difficult to find a decent firearm, they told me to check their Instagram that they update for new shipments and ammo. Ill definitely stalking their Instagram for new shipments!

Attempted to purchase handgun they had in stock and also do a ffl transfer for a gun purchased online(they didnt have this onein stock). They where very rude and refused to help with the process after telling me to purchase the 75$ transfer. I had to forward the emails repeatedly to the online store the gun was coming from. It showed up today so I asked to make a appointment for next Wednesday to start the 10 days. They said dont bother we are returning the gun to the online shop and refusing delivery. All the emails forwarded to the shipper. They told me they had never dealt with such a rude shop and felt bad i had to endure it. Needless to say I will take all my purchases somewhere else. Have 3 more firearms to purchase but they obviously are millionairs and dont care about making sales or customer care. To bad John McCormick is not in business purchased dozens there with no issues. GO ELSEWHERE!

Awesome place with good people that know what theyre talking about, went in there with the intentions of purchasing my first rifle and was satisfied with the service I had recieved. Overall awesome sauce, definitely going there for my first handgun purchase as well.

I rated them good but wanted to rate them FAIR. I went in there a while back with $1000 burning a whole in my pocket but I couldnt get anyone to help me. There was only one other person in the store and two people helping him. I waited around for five minutes for someone to help me but nobody did so I left. I bought a gun that same day somewhere else. I have friends who have had good experiences. I would recommend finding out for yourself.

Prk Arms have a great selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories. They have a good selection on Law enforcement only firearms as well. these guys do it all they will price match and layaway.

This is, by far, the best place to acquire arms in Fresno! I have been to most gun shops in the valley and PRK takes the cake. Be prepared to wait 15min during peak hours, but it is definitely worth the wait. They have a huge selection of products to choose from and I got my XDs 45 here. Much much better than my last review attributed mostly to Nathan and his great customer service, and knowledgeability of their product. We were two women walking in which usually raises eyebrows in this Macho based mentality industry but they actually seemed impressed that these women knew what they were actually talking about.. I would have given it 5 stars but there was a big lull between us entering the store and waiting at the counter to be acknowledged. It is not much effort to raise your eyes and state that you will be helped momentarily. This was the only remnant remaining of the bad service on my last review. I would recommend them highly as they haves the largest amount of defense weaponry and recreational arms priced far more realistically than Herb Bauer who have the selection but not the price.

Been there a few times and every single time I had to get someones attention to help me. No one said hi or ask if they could help me. Prices are a bit on the higher price even though they claim to have the best prices in town. I was sold a magazine that only held 9 rounds. I had to fix the magazine myself to make it fit 10 rounds. They do have the best selections all around but I rather go somewhere else that will actually value my business. Go to Old West Arms in Clovis instead. Those guys will help you out.

I have several friends that are gun collectors who have highly recommended this store, however, when I first went there in mid-December 2012 to make what was going to be my first serious firearm purchase, the line was out the door, there was next to nothing in stock, I didnt really get what I would have considered good service, and was in many ways creeped out by the place...Fast-forward to August 2013. I had since bought a couple firearms (at other places) and had much-better immersed myself into the hobby of gun ownership. I had taken the time to research what I wanted, knew my price range, and found that PRK had a great selection of what I wanted (an AR-15) at affordable prices.I went in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was nearly empty. They were practically over-stocked with all manner of guns, particularly the modern assault type and handguns, never mind all the ammo and equipment. Staff was helpful and spent time with me while I examined several ARs until finding one to my liking, which I purchased. Sort of like being a kid in a toy store, but all over the walls were fancy (and dangerous) toys! Had I not been on a budget, Id have walked out with an arsenal.I highly recommend PRK if you are into guns and know what you are looking for. Its not a beginner gun store, but easily one for the informed and educated gun buyer. If you get to the store on a good day/time (like I did) youll see they have a fantastic selection of military-grade weaponry that beats many other local firearms dealers.

They dont care for their customers. Will talk with you and 15 others at the same time. First I went in to purchase a gun I could not get waited on, I left and come back another day. Made purchase while counter man talked with 4 other people. When I got home I did not get the lock that went with the gun. You know the pressure when others are pushing and trying to get their attention. When I spend that kind of money I want the sales person to talk with me, not everyone else in the room!

After reading all the negative reviews I was expecting a low-stocked gun store - only to be filled with incompetent employees. Thankfully, those reviews were WRONG. This place is very professional! They have an EXCELLENT selection of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. The gentleman who helped me (Nathan) was extremely helpful and never made me feel stupid for asking tons of questions. I have been to most of the gun shops in the Fresno/Clovis area and this is by far the most well-stocked I have been to. They have everything! (at decent prices too) If youre having a hard time finding a specific gun, ammo, or accessories in Fresno...this may be your place.

These guys didnt have anything that I was looking for (handgun accessories/upgrades/ammo). I got the vibe like they were trying to rush me out of the store. Their shop reminded me of SOA, like if something was cooking around back. Not to mention a funky smell.

Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Purchased my first rifle (Ruger 10/22) was told a certain price for it, so when it was time to pay the price ended up being higher than I was told. Thats when the cool guy with the beard said to knock the price down to what he originally told me. The only gripe was that it took a while to get some service but well worth the wait.

Sucks that you pay for a gun and have to wait more than 10 days due to the fact they are booked for appointments. So I am on the 12th day hoping I can get my gun today if not I will have to pick up on the 13th day which I have an appointment for!!!!damn sucks that the place is so busy but also is a good thing .

PRK Arms on Clovis Avenue in Fresno was very good one of the few that told me they could order it for me very knowledgeable people very nice I will be back !

Waited about 1/2 hour before anyone even talked to us. We were there to do 2 private party transfers and a big guy with tattoos and beard Refused to do them even though there was still 1 hour before closing and no other customers in the store. A gun shop according to California law cannot Refuse to do private party transfers, but this big tough guy with a beard was to lazy to take time to help us. I will be reporting this shop to the DOJ. Terrible Customer Service.

These guys are always super helpful and friendly when I go into the store, today they helped me solve a minor Gunsmithing issue and they had the parts I needed in stock for a great price. I will continue to be a customer of PRK Arms.

I recently got a new job down the street from the PRK Arms on Clovis and Lamona, just south of McKinley, and wandered in on my lunch one day to check it out.I was greeted as I came in the door, and informed that they would help me as soon as they could. I could tell that it would be a while, as the store was packed, and for it to be that busy and have that many people willing to wait that long, they must be doing something right. They have one wall with shotguns and lever actions, another with modern tactical rifles, and pistols in the glass counters.They greeted everyone else that came in with the same courtesy, letting them know they would help them as soon as possible. I watched as I waited, and the reason that they were so packed and the wait was so long is because they gave each customer, whether they bought nothing or the newest high-end rifle, the service and attention that they deserve. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and everything that I want in a gun store. Their prices for firearms are on par or even just a bit lower than many other places. Yes, their ammo is a littleore expensive than Walmart, but everything, everywhere, is more expensive than Walmart, so if that is your measuring stick then you will ALWAYS be disappointed.I didnt buy anything and after just a few questions they knew I wasnt planning to, and they still gave me the attention and service that they gave everyone else. For the record, the next time I am in the market for a firearm, I wont go anywhere but PRK, and I will wait however long I need to with a smile on my face, because I know that, when my turn comes, they will take care of me.

I called every gun shop in fresno for a price check on a glock 19. Of those who actually bothered to pick up their phone, these guys had the cheapest price by about 50 dollars, for a price of $500. Breco Enterprises and Uncle Sams Firearms came in second at $550. On the other hand they tried charging me 700 bucks for a WASR AK, (which is an awful lot for a crappy AK) so call ahead first.That being said, every kind of addon item like snapcaps, scopes, holsters, and magazines were about double the price it was on amazon, so dont load up on extras here.They charge a lot for ammo too. They tried to charge me 27 cents a round for 9mm reloads (you can get brand new ammo for 20 cents a round at walmart), and they charged 1.50 a round for defensive ammo!!! Thats 3 times the going rate. The guy behind the counter actually had the balls to tell me defensive ammo doesnt come in 50 packs (it does.) Just buy your ammo online.They charge a 90% restocking fee if your background check fails for some reason, so you better make god damn sure you are in good standing with the state of california before you go down there.A lot of people are complaining about the wait. There was a wait both times I came there. You basically just stand in line until the guys behind the counter are done with whoever is in front of you. It was about a 15 minute wait both times, not really all that bad. If you are the kind of person that needs a lot of personal attention you might want to go somewhere less crowded.They do seem knowledgeable about firearms, and california laws. They werent condescending at all.
