Its a chill place, and the food is cheap. Vietnam style coffee, nice sandwiches. The outdoor area is hidden while you wont see that from the front door. Its a cute vintage place just like the other shops in Nile.

Such an awesome little jewel. Warm atmosphere, good food, in a really cool building. The portion sizes are perfect for those of us that don’t want 3 meals in one sitting. The house coffee is strong and delicious. We will be back! Thank you!

Love this cafe! Great energy, quirky and fun interior, awesome back yard seating area. Run by a lovely and friendly family that seems to be an active and supportive part of the Niles community. They certainly have a lot of regulars & will remember your name & food preferences. :-)Vietnamese coffee is out of this world, and sandwiches are unique and made with incredibly tasty homemade bread. You can buy a freshly made loaf to take home as well. Salads are tasty and creative. Wish theyre open later, but getting up a little earlier on a weekend to get there in time is well worth it.

Picture this - You sitting outdoors in the shade on a sunny day, enjoying a peaceful morning at your favorite cafe, eating delicious Mango Salad and Avocado on Toast, sipping a large cup of Niles au lait and casting your eyes to the Fremont Hills. This is what we do weekly after riding 16 miles on our bikes on the Alameda Creek Trail, before riding another 8 miles home. Picture no more, come see and taste for yourself; Nile Cafe is the perfect place to relax and reenergize!

This is a really nice small Cafe on a side street in Niles. The portions are just right and very well cooked. Prices are very reasonable. I love sitting in the patio. There is plenty of shade or sun, depending on your preference. And its very peaceful out there. If you like people watching, theres a couple of tables in front.

Good variety of sandwiches. We are vegetarians so good to find a place with more than one veggie option. Pear sandwich and rice noodle wrap were both delicious and filling.

Good local cafe in Niles, Fremont. Has charming, funky atmosphere and is a local favorite. Food is mainly breakfast and sandwiches for lunch, fairly basic but tasty. Has two small outdoor dining areas and inside dining. Good for kids, small groups and individuals.

Excellent place, we had the vegetarian California sandwich and an omelette. The Nile Cafe du Lait was just right mix of coffee taste and not too sweet. Fast service and outdoor seating is shaded and very nice with lots of greenery and flowers.

The cafe serves a great Americano! I didnt eat anything, but the food coming out from the kitchen looked good. Ill go back to check it out.My favorite thing about this place is that there are tables inside that look like mismatched dining room furniture. There are a couple that are matched and are painted andm they really cool. There are tables in the front windows that look really nice. There are a couple of tables outside that had lots of people sitting there. It seems a little disorganized inside, but thats part of the charm. It doesnt look special outside, but I really liked the inside and my coffee. It was $3.25 for a large. Very reasonable.Try it out!

Excellent food, ambiance, and great people. If you want to eat breakfast like a Niles local, this is where you go. Everything on the menu is great. Try their mocha or Vietnamese Coffee. They make their bread daily - pick up a loaf of the multigrain to take home. NOTE: this establishment is cash-only.

I with family every week and become a regular since we move to Fremont 3 years ago. It started simply with a friendly staff. Yes the service can be slow as they have an absolutely small kitchen and always understaff given they are a small family business. But it’s always well forgiven for me as I know they are all dedicated to serve those tasty breakfast I always love. Their bread, omelet and scramble egg.... regardless of the styles are always my favorite

Outstanding small cafe that has managed to maintain continuity through three owners since its founding in 1997. The first owners created the decor, which is an interesting mix of large Egyptian-motif murals on the main walls in reference to Niles, the name of the town, nautical motifs because the first owner was a fisherman, and train motifs because Niles was a train town. The coffee and food are wonderful. Breakfast is worth trying - they do wonderful omelets, and regular bacon-and-eggs-and-toast are great, too. Lunch has a lot of good sandwiches.I cant recommend them highly enough.

Ive been coming here with my daughters for Sunday morning breakfast for more than 6 years. They make delicious food, reasonably portioned rather than the typical heres an omelette with eight plates of hash browns, toast and a biscuit in a tote bag filled with maple syrup. Its cash only, but also inexpensive and theres an ATM literally across the street at the bank. The staff is friendly and efficient and always welcoming. Also perhaps the only breakfast option in Fremont where the coffee isnt hot dishwater swill. Total gem.

I can see why this is a local favorite in the NIles District historic area. Funky place with murals on the walls and bright tables. Good and ample food for low prices and good friendly service too. We enjoyed our sandwiches and one enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes. Good beverages. Seems to be run by a Vietnamese family so some Viet specialties available. Small place. Outdoor seating in rear and a couple of tables on the street sidewalk too. Location is central to the town strip.

This is such a random part of town, but Nile Cafe serves some pretty basic breakfasts that wont break the bank. If youre looking for a bite to eat and arent too picky, The Nile Cafe might fit the bill. The decoration is a bit wonky with a little bit of everything. I guess it adds character. Seems like its run by Vietnamese, but the only thing vietnamese on the menu is the Vietnamese coffee.I ordered a mediterranean chicken wrap, which was okay, but nothing special. I think they used the microwave at one point when making it. The cucumber sauce was 80% mayonnaise, and I had to squeeze most of it out.

The food was actually quite decent, the atmosphere is like the chairs, a hodgepodge. The staff was friendly and efficient ( they need more than one creamer container) so they dont have to run around and snatch it from each table. They had vegetarian options for our dining companions and the homemade bread was a hit. Would love to try them for lunch some time!
