This five stars is for Manager Jorma.New Tesla Y showed low psi warnings on screen and found out the rim was damaged. None of other tire/wheel shops can handle it so had to wait over the weekend before I pulled it up to Tesla Service. The advisor of Fremont Service Center (An+*^y?) was unprofessional and rude. He didn’t even take a look at the damaged wheel and refused to replace it same day. Kidding me? You want me to drive this damaged wheel on highway to my work? Is this the Tesla that I love? I was so desperate and needed to talk to the manager. And so there came the manager Jorma . He totally changed the situation. He is so professional, so kind, and extremely supportive. He communicates effectively and compassionately. He completely understands our concerns and needs for the vital safety of a good wheel. He made the replacement work done in 30 minutes!! Amazing!!! Best manager ever!! Thanks!!

Voice mail said they would return the call...(Never got a call back). Right after the voice mail it asked to do a survey on the service received on the call. Incredible!! Got NO HELP but they wanted you to do a survey on their service!

Overall the service is pretty good. James took the time to listen and try to understand the concern and problem but he still missing some details and instructions on what I want them to check. He seemed to be in the defense side when I told him about the problem I have encountered with the car which is understandable I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also asked to see the activities log and they cant provide that 🙄🤔🤔🤔 (hmm dislike) they said I have go through some legal paper work 🤔 They need some improvement on where theyre parking customer cars over night, they left my car out under the tree and it rained over night and this poor guy(pic) is picking stuff out of my car because they dont use water and there is no other way this guy could clean it 🤦🏻‍♀️ Come people! Can only imagine what this guy is dealing with lol. They gave me 2018 Model S to use while my car was in the shop. I was clearly informed that if something happens to this car I am responsible for😬. They check the tires pressure and topped off the washer fluid “Goodwill Service for my car which is a nice touch.

Want to take 0.5 stars out. The entrance to the service center is in the back, accessed via Page Road instead of Kato. To be fair, the sign saying that in front of the chained up entry had fallen over and lost the info in the rain. Anyways, now that you know how to get there - its clean, warm and comfy. The service rep is good. Wifi available. They take good care of you.

Worst service center ever. Bought a new Model Y for 3 months and made two appointments to fix the rattling brake, loose camera and rear-view mirror and mis-aligned doors. The service man and so called adviser simply laughed at you and kept saying that everything is perfect and there is no problem at all. I showed them the recorded videos and the recorded noise of the brake, but they simply ignored them and refused to fix the problems.

This was a experience that not only showed unprofessional conduct of a supervisor but also how that supervisor have no respect for humanity as a hold If a person did all the right things that reflected on the effort they put into the situation then all due respect for that persons effort shouldve been appreciated for trying and not giving up. There is more to the said regarding this situation hopefully the point of this issue was made clear enough to ethical standards of life built on understanding and to what it is to treat other as human being.

Service advisor did an excellent job - kept me informed throughout the maintenance and repair process. However - my experience overall was definitely not as good as it has been on prior visits. Maybe its because I have a 2012 Model S? On prior occasions I was provided with a loaner; this time a rideshare voucher (an observation, not a complaint). The service center wasnt as attentive, and didnt do the little extras they did on previous occasions, like updating the software.A decent experience, but comparable to having my old ICE car serviced, and nothing more.

Ive been pretty happy with the service Tesla has provided but this last one at Fremont was a huge disappointment. I called Tesla support after the sunroof on our Model S would not close and since it was wide open and would pose a security issue when parked, she advised that I drive to the nearest service center. She called in advance for me and gave me the name of a specific person to see.One of the managers, Mario, inspected the sunroof and noticed that one of the brackets that moves the panoramic glass was cracked. However, he told me that it would not be covered under warranty and that I would be responsible for paying for the repair claiming that it was a wear and tear item. He also said that since the car was safe to drive, they could not take it in at that time and I had to make an appointment. I respectfully disagreed with his assessment and didn’t think it was reasonable. How could a cracked bracket be a wear and tear item? I understand tires, brakes, etc., and I know a lot of other issues are discretionary but a roof that stops working because of a broken bracket is considered wear and tear? C’mon, man!Additionally, just because a car is safe to DRIVE doesnt mean that its safe to USE. A wide open pano roof isnt safe to park anywhere other than inside ones garage.I asked him to have my issue re-evaluated and he said that he would follow up but I never received a call back. I eventually drove to another service center and without explaining my previous experience, the Tech immediately deemed it urgent enough to accommodate me without an appointment and told me that it is all covered under basic warranty. I left the car, was given a loaner, and was fixed within a business day. I hope it’s an exception and uncharacteristic of the way they normally do business at Tesla Fremont but this particular experience left me a little bitter.

This is the factory where the Model S and Model X Tesla cars are built today. The tour is a little over an hour long consisting of riding a tram and getting on/off the tram once to walk on some catwalks to get a closer look at the manufacturing process. On the tour you will get a chance to see empty battery packs, huge stamping machines that press metal into parts, lots of robots that are welding, drilling, riveting, putting fasteners in and moving parts of the cars around. You will the cars near final production from angles you would never see as an owner such as the flat bottom of the car.And to top it off the parking lot is full of superchargers so you can charge your car while you are on the tour. I purchased my Model S used earlier this year and after many months of searching for a CPO, I found the better deal on craigslist which was partly due to being out of warranty. After doing extensive research on all of the things that can go wrong with the Model S, I was honestly terrified but decided to take the risk anyways. So far, I have been to the Fremont Service Center on 3 separate occasions with 11 different repairs and every time I receive the dreaded invoice, I am always pleasantly surprised by all of the repairs and installs being done in Goodwill. And on top of this, I get a complimentary Tesla rental while my car is in service? I have owned cars ranging from Hondas to BMWs/ Mercedes and I have never heard of any dealership offering this kind of service outside of warranty. Their service representatives are also very professional with updates via text and phone throughout the time your car is in service.I understand that I only speak of my experience with the service center in Fremont and my repairs have been nothing major, (other than a drive unit replacement under warranty) but so far, I cant speak highly enough of the service I have received so far in my short period of owning my Tesla. To end, below is a list of repairs done so far in Goodwill:-Install rear cup holders I also found on craigslist - Installed in Goodwill-Front hood not properly lining up with the bumper - Realigned in Goodwill-Passenger window not rolling up completely - Regulator replaced in Goodwill-Rear windows not rolling up completely - Regulators replaced in Goodwill-Door handle LED lights shining brighter on Drivers side. -Passenger side repaired in Goodwill-Wind noise caused by tear in rubber seal on passenger window - Replaced in Goodwill-Replace bolts in steering wheel - Recall-Drive unit making milling noise - Complete drive unit replaced with a newer model under Warranty and so much quieter now!-Sunroof Leaking - seals cleaned and lubricated in Goodwill-Rear Door Handles not presenting when pushed on - Motors replaced in Goodwill-Front fender turn signal was scratched when I was cleaning it (completely my fault) - replaced in Goodwill. If you are anywhere near this Service Center, this is the place to take your Tesla. I had able to got into cheap line KIA SUV, is smaller than Tesla Model X. Lot of very deep pocket customers is very tall ( such as Shaq and Michael Jordan) will most likely not buy Tesla Model X because of seat will not lowered enough.
