I recently moved and had to pick up items from two locations before heading to my new location. I received excellent customer service throughout the planning process and the movers were efficient and diligent as well. I would highly recommended Two Men and a Truck. They were affordable and got the job done just as I needed.

Hired this company for a move from a one bedroom apartment to another nearby by.I received a call from Nick when they left the warehouse with a very accurate ETA. And they even arrived earlier than scheduled!Nick & Darius were extremely professional, polite and careful with all my belongings. They took care to wrap and protect everything. Not a single spot of damage on any of my stuff. They even finished earlier than originally quoted me so they saved me some money too!Would definitely hire this company again!

R. Bell and Joshua A. made our moving experience a good one. They called ahead to let me know of their arrival time. They wrapped anything that was fragile or needed to be wrapped for the move. The men were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Two Men and a Truck.

Do not recommend this company whatsoever. The only thing I will give them credit for is showing up within the window I was given and having a point man that I was able to call. My entire move took six hours! From Little Neck to Lynbrook. With several pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled. The crew had absolutely no idea what they were doing and were winging it for the most part. I had to stand by like a hawk and make suggestions on what to do. The main guy said my bed wasnt going to fit...when they didnt even try taking the pieces off..which I had to suggest. I kinda need a bed. When I called telling six hours for a small move is ridiculous, I was told I would get a call back. I never did. All I got was a half hour off from this ridiculous six hour move. Never in my life has any move taken so long. I even wanted the company to send over a crew who knew what they were doing, but the response I got was no one is in the area or theyre all out on other jobs. Absolutely terrible service and I dont recommend them to anyone.

This was the best moving experience I have ever had. The office team told me the amount of time they thought the job would take and they were very accurate. I paid an incredibly reasonable hourly rate, exactly what was quoted, the time estimate was accurate, and I did not get charged for tape or wrapping or anything that wasnt in the quote. The men who moved me were professional, polite, extremely careful, and worked efficiently and quickly. They even took apart and reassembled my bed and set it up. I moved from two locations to one so tere was local, in NYC, and then out to CT. I have used this service before and others. Ill always keep going back to Two Men and a Truck. Highly recommended.

Two Men and a Truck made our move easy and painless from the quote/booking process all the way through delivery of our items at our new place. The administrative staff was extremely responsive to our questions. The movers Josh and CeCe came prepared with materials to wrap up our furniture to avoid any damage and were thoughtful about how to navigate our different apartment layouts with large furniture. Worth every penny for an out-of-state move.

I moved from a storage unit on Long Island to a 1 bedroom apartment in NYC. We didnt have a ton of stuff, but we were quoted at an estimated 4-5 hour move and it ended up only taking a grand total of 3 hours! They managed double-parking a moving truck on a one-way street in the city superbly and handled all our items with care. Made a potentially stressful day extremely easy.

Responsive, available, reasonable, friendly, competent, and supportive! The office staff was great, and Kayla, who referred me, was on point throughout the day to make sure I was taken care of and resolve any issues if they were to come up (which they didnt). The estimate was accurate, and they were early! Refreshing experience. Highly recommend!

This is the best moving experience Ive ever had. I would definitely recommend this company. James and his teams were amazing! It was a complicated, two pick up, two day, out of state move, which would have normally been highly stressful. James, Anthony and Carlos were so kind, professional, hard working and easy going on top of it. I found them really calming and I didnt have to worry about anything. They moved a lot of oversized items down a stairwell, and were super helpful in packing up furniture and other items in this last minute move. Love them! Nicole from the local office even dropped in to check in on the move. Amazing, hands on service.The drop off with James, Desmond, and Lorvens Hippie was equally fun, easy and smooth. Blessed to find these guys. I cant recommend them highly enough. Thank you!

We used them recently for an oversized furniture move with our house. Mr. Marshall and Mr. Bell were fantastic. They were professional, efficient and courteous - even tried to be as quiet as possible when my baby fell asleep. They work well together. I highly recommend them and would consider using them again when/if needed.

Overall a great company and great moving experience, I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck! Their professionalism, responsiveness, timeliness was beyond incredible. I moved from Brooklyn to LI and they made the experience so easy and headache free. The movers were incredibly professional and respectful. They came exactly on time between 10-11am as was stated (I also received multiple confirmation ahead of their arrival). Once they arrived, the movers reviewed what items would be moved and wrapped things (not a scratch on any of my furniture and believe me I had various fragile items and a glass coffee table to contend with). They did an incredible job with disassembling, wrapping, and securing all of my furniture. Once we arrived at my house, they asked me where each furniture would be reassembled and did an impeccable job in reassembling everything. Loved everything about this experience and I would highly recommend for future use!

First of all, they moved the organ and I know its as good as it was when it was loaded in Smithtown. Secondly, they told me the MOST EXPENSIVE it could possibly be, so that when they arrived, if it wasnt the worst case scenario, I felt like I was getting a deal. Brilliant strategy. Youre paying by the hour and people get stuck in traffic and youre basically paying for it? Tell me what that would be like, and what the billing for that is UP FRONT. Thankfully, that didnt happen. The wasnt any traffic, but if there was, I already had a discussion with my wife saying we were comfortable paying 1k for the move. Worked out great.

I used Two men and a truck for my mothers move on January 2, 2021 - We had a team of 3 - Joshua, Connor & Malike. I have to say these 3 really worked well together! The arrived on time and kept me posted on the GPS ETA. Upon arrival Joshua reviewed which rooms/items were being moved. They each were assigned specific rooms and duties. All items were padded and wrapped to avoid damage in the transfer. They disassembled the large items and reassembled in my moms new home. Upon arrival to the new home, they delivered the boxes to each specific room as requested. All in all it was a pleasant experience. It is evident that they like their jobs and have great camaraderie. I also worked with Riley to reserve the truck. He was very transparent on the charges and sent over documents with all details and information. I would recommend this company and definitely use again in the future if needed. (I would also try to request the same crew lol they were great!) thanks again for making the last part of this big move go smoothly!

EDIT: Dan C., the regional manager, followed up with me to find out where things went wrong with my move. He was very genuine in expressing his concern for the mistakes that were made and he worked hard to made amends for the issues that had plagued my move. After being reimbursed for the amount that I was overcharged and after having a very positive experience with Dan, I am now more confident that this company does hold itself accountable and can provide a reasonable standard of customer service. I will consider using them again in the future.My movers Mike, Amani, Cory and Nolan were very professional and provided great service.There were some issues: the movers were dispatched four hours later than I had scheduled them and when I called the office line several times over the course of the delay and left several messages for the managing agent - she didnt pick up the phone or call me back.Since the movers arrived late (4 hours after the scheduled pick up time) and did not adequately communicate about the long delay, we could not make it to the storage unit I had reserved before the facility closed. I offered to reserve a different storage facility (open 24/7) that would solve the issue but asked them to cover the difference in price (if any) given that the situation we were in was due to their mistake. They asked if they could instead come back on Monday 2/1 (my lease, like the vast majority of leases, expired at the end of the month, so this was obviously not a possibility.) Eventually, they decided the movers would do some of the packing that day and then they would send another team the following morning to finish the job. While there were some hiccups along the way, they eventually got the job done and we were able to pack all of my belongings into my original storage unit.The movers did a really good job and were good to work with; though some members of their sales/mgmt team could benefit from some additional training, their leadership eventually got it right and I feel satisfied with the result of my move with 2Men.

Several items were left unpacked despite directions, (besides liquids which they did not say in advance). I did not have the time to baby sit the packers, so it was not seen until the following day. Almost none of the boxes were labeled using the checkboxes on top of them, which made unpacking an absolute pain. The next days team of movers did their absolute best to accommodate, and were wonderful in the move. 4 stars for the move, 2 stars for the pack - average of 3 stars.

Two Men and a Truck sent 3 men to preform an intercompany move of storage boxes. Their men arrived on time and were both professional and courteous. Everything was executed exactly the way wanted it. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I moved from my parents house in Massapequa Park to an apartment in Huntington/Woodbury today, 1/12. Before the actual move, the clerical staff was very professional, helpful and responsive to my questions. In fact, as Im writing this review only 20 min after the movers left, Nicole from TMAAT called me to follow up and see how everything was going which was very impressive! I called about a week before the move and immediately was sent the estimate we discussed, a great info sheet with tips and what to expect, as well as an info sheet on their COVID precautions. The movers, Aaron and Josh, were great! They were friendly, polite, professional, knew exactly what they were doing, worked efficiently, and I even ended up saving about 30% on the total charge because everything went so smoothly (even with a stop along the way). I expected to pay around 500-600 (which is totally reasonable) but it turned out to be much less. Highly recommend this company in all regards!

Buyer beware - results may vary. This is a franchised corporation and it depends on where you go and who you deal with - there may be a lack of professionalism and training. I had a very negative experience with the LI NY - Nassau County location, which falls far short of the standards that are advertised on the corporate website. They have wasted a lot of my time - very poor client relations, poor internal communication, and they were not able to properly address my need for a COI for my building over the course of a week. They still attempted to dispatch drivers, when at least 3 of their administrative/management employees knew there was an issue with the COI not being properly produced and they could not enter my building without it.The slogan movers who care appears to be contrary to the way they treat customers. If I am dealing with professionals as they claim, I would really hate to see the way the non-professionals handle things. The manager who called me was condescending and spoke over me, without actually looking into the history or the communications on file. Basically, what they conveyed is that they do not want my business, the business of my friends and family, and anyone who reads these reviews.

Although I left them a 5 star review after the movers came and provided their service I received a call from “dan” asking for additional payment. Two weeks after we payed more than $1700 for a few hours of service that I could have probably had done for around $600 from another company they tried to call and ask us for additional money. I even tipped their workers $150.This is ridiculous on many levels.Totally unacceptable.I’m sorry but whoever is representing your company or calling on your behalf is trying to scam people.Beware of these guys calling and asking for additional payments.
