I highly recommend this store if you need your vacuum repaired, or if you want to learn about the best options for when you decide to get an upgrade. I brought in my Oreck because the brush on the bottom wasn’t spinning, and it was ready for pick up the next day. I felt compelled to write a review because not only was it great service, but it was actually a really charming little store with lots more Vacuum options than the big box stores offer. Overall it was a great experience.

I bought an Ultra Lite vacuum and had my old vacuum repaired. Now I have two great vacuums for my house. Prices were very good and the service was excellent. They take time to explain all about why their machines are better, being made in USA, and they warrant them so I know I can get it fixed when and if they get clogged up due to all the cat hair we have. More small businesses should be run with the care and attention they give.

I have dealt with Lloyd for over 20 years and he always repaired my very old vacuum. He always knew exactly what was wrong with it and it worked like a charm. I finally decided to buy a new vacuum from him, and he educated me on all the advantages and disadvantages. He knew my price range and worked within those limits. I am thrilled with my new Riccar and would recommend this dealer for repairs and purchases. He treated me like family and I Highly recommend his services and sales!

Excellent service!I needed a replacement central vac hose and attachments in a hurry and had my items within 48 hours of placing the order. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable… Very confident with their service and will frequent their shop again.

Stay away from this kind of business. I brought my Dyson DC 40 to get one part changed and regular servicing. Instead of giving me the estimate, he tried to sell me an old looking and old fashioned vacuum he had in his shop. He also tried to scare me for 30 mins about how Dyson is only good at advertisement, but not at the quality. As per him, Dyson vacuum cleaners pollute the air in your home. The washable filters on Dyson can convert the dust in them to concrete when washed, so it clogs the vacuum, as per his expert opinion. When I insisted for the estimate instead of trying to sell me any other brand or finding the faults in Dyson brand vacuums, he returned me my vacuum without checking that.All I wanted was a fair estimate and eventually a good repair job done, which this business failed to offer me.

Looking for a vacuum is a pain. We have had many vacuums. We spent more money on this one vacuum but I can tell it’ll last a lifetime! Glad I up graded because it’s the best vacuum we have bought. We have bought other vacuums before and wasted a lot of money. FYI We have kids and dogs.Friendly service, no pressure and honest.

Guy may be the biggest scammer around. Brought my Dyson in for a repair, when i went to pick it up he said he threw it away because it was over 30 days in his facility. Meanwhile my wife is calling him to pick it up and he said he would check on it and get back to her. but never did. He offered me another used vacuum of lesser value to replace the one he threw out but wanted to get paid for it. A real piece of work, I recommend to stay away!, Hes a liar and a crook, I will be suing him.

I went into the vacuum shop on Route 9 in Howell assuming I had to get a brand new vacuum as my Riccar vacuum was just spitting dirt back out at me. When I first walked in I was greeted with kindness and respect . I wanted to buy a new vacuum but Lloyd told me to bring my old one to the shop, when I did he said give me a day Ill order the part and he did ! He has a very nice staff and they were very helpful when I came back to get my vacuum I couldnt recommend any other shop as well as this place.

If you decide to go to this place to get a vacuum repaired, please reconsider. I was an employee for Lloyd for a couple of months and he runs his whole business on the premise that his customers know nothing about their products. I honestly lost track of the amount of times the problem could have been solved with a part that cost 30 cents and Lloyd told me that I had to call the customer and tell them they needed a $130 full service. In every way possible this is a scam. The things you buy here are cheaper almost anywhere else, and though he seems like an honest/sincere person, it’s all a front for you to funnel needless money into his business. (Edit:) I would also like to point out that while employed at this business some of the customers were my friends/family, and I was told to essentially rob them. I also know other people who have worked for him and his whole business practice is sexist. I understand that you need to get your vacuum fixed/cleaned but I BEG you to go somewhere else where you won’t be all but robbed. After reading some other reviews, it has become apparent that he tries to make himself seem like a friend but in reality it’s just a clever sales pitch for you to trust him and overpay for services so he can feed your money into his 1980’s corvette.

Dealing issues with my vacuum cleaner. I have Dyson brand vacuum cleaner and it stuck after 10 or 15 min use. Visited many technician but problem still persists. One of my friend suggested their name and I visited their store. No doubt their response is good. Took some time but they solve the problem. Now its working fine like new. I really recommend them!

My first visit to the Vacuum Shoppe was for a repair on my Dyson. They fixed it for me more than once and I decided to go back when it finally died to buy my new vacuum. Before you go to a big box store, visit Lloyd at The Vacuum Shoppe. He will spend time understanding your house, if you have pets, high traffic areas, and give you the best vacuum for your needs. I ended up buying 2 different vacuums that day and buy replacement bags from them too. I appreciate their kindness and the time they take. Shop local, you wont be disappointed and I know they can beat big box prices!

Called to asked if they buy Vacuum they told me to bring it down so they can look at it. It turn in to sales pitch with a demonstration that I did not want. Ever time I tried to get back to the topic of them buying my vacuum he continued to try sell me another one... I feel they had no intention of buying my vacuum just wanted to sales pitch me.

They have some really nice vacuums. They are also very helpful with any questions you might have about vacuums.

This place has the worst customer service. I dropped off a vacuum to be repaired. I was told I would recieve a call the next day with info on the problem. Never got a call. I let the weekend past and called to check the status i was told they were on vacation. They took a message and told me they would get back to me the following week. They had my vacuum for almost a month with no calls! I finally reached out again and was told we couldnt get the past, come pick up your vacuum. My thoughtwas, youre an authorized dealer, dont you get the posts from the company? Then I drive 45 minutes to pick it up and they are closed. Sign says they open and no message on machine saying otherwise. Then I pick it up and they try selling me a vacuum. Definitely complaining with company that deals with them!

Fast, expert service & super friendly! The first time I brought my Dyson in for repair I was skeptical about paying for service. Im glad I did because what a difference it made! I left out of there with what was like a brand new machine. I recently brought it back for a minor high pitch sound and within minutes they had it fixed free of charge! Thank you so much! Very competent and engaging staff. Even though I watched a demonstration, and because of that, fell to buying a new machine (it was time, I was impressed, etc), I have to say that I LOVE the new machine! It has lots of power, is very light, and moves easily. Only problem is that they dont provide a person to come and actually do the vacuuming! I have to move it around myself! ;-)

Would love to give them ZERO stars. They told me my vacuum was not under warranty and couldn’t be fixed and then were VERY QUICK to try to sell me something else. I called Bissell myself and Bissell told me NO ONE called about my vacuum (everything is recorded under a serial number and no one called about my serial number) and that it was ABSOLUTELY under warranty 🤔🤔🤥😡 can’t believe they thought they could pull something like that!! VERY DISHONEST!!!!

I was extremely impressed with the service. Lloyd guided me through the process of how they would install the central vacuum system in my house. I was never pressured into anything that I didnt want and I feel like I got a great deal.

Went in for a service repair estimate, was immediately told it’s not worth it and he proceeded to go in to a lengthy sales pitch for pricey vacuums. While he was knowledgable, it was clear his only interest was to sell product and not service what his customer came to the store for, nor did he ask if I had the time or i terest to learn about the product. Fast and honest work. Very good customer service. I bought my Miele from them when my Rainbow died. Today (after 2 years) I brought it in. They found an object stuck in its hose, essentially blocking it. I was out of the store in no time.They cleaned my Miele last year. It was only 1 year old, so it was same day service. It took about 15 - 20 minutes.Id fefdefinit recommend them to my friends

Id give them ZERO stars if i could -- Dishonest customer service!! Owner took vacuum behind curtain, returned telling me it needed a new motor for $149.95. He wanted payment up front. Said hed guarantee it for 3 months. I questioned why NEW motor would only have 3-month warranty, and told him I didnt like up-front payment requirement. Left and took my unit to Discount Vacuum in Middletown where they were VERY honest and gave me next day service--it only needed a new fan assembly for $69.95!!! Note: Discount Vacuum serviced my other machine there as well for $19.95 vs. the $74.99 that Vacuum Shoppe wanted to charge me. Worth the drive to Middletown. Also note: a new vacuum that i was looking at cost $50 more at Vacuum Shoppe.

A couple years ago, we brought to the Vacuum Shoppe our Dyson for repairs. At the time, we were given a demo of the Riccar Super Lite vacuum and were so impressed with its cordless portability, light weight and incredible pickup power, we walked away with a brand new one. Since then, the Riccar has been our primary device, assigning the Dyson as our backup.Fast forward to today....I brought in our Riccar for a service issue which was resolved in 15 minutes while I waited.....free of charge.The bottom line is that we are so very satisfied with our purchase....for both the great Riccar product and the highly customer oriented Vacuum Shoppe itself. Dyson advised me to take my vacuum cleaner to the Vacuum Shoppe located in Freehold for warranty repair. Dropped it off and received a call to come pick it up. When we got there we were charged a $32 service fee for cleaning.... We were never told that there would be a charge and we never authorized it..... Spoke to an employee and he refused to credit the charge... Would not recommend this business to anyone...
