Had a wonderful experience working with American Granite to install new granite kitchen countertops, backsplash, and a granite fireplace surround. From my first visit to American Granite to browse their inventory, I was blown away by the huge selection to choose from and how reasonable the prices were. Carlos and his team were so accommodating and came back several times to remedy the tiniest of imperfections (i.e., caulking a gap, repairing a tiny chip). I found everyone at American Granite a pleasure to deal with and so happy to take care of any minor need. Their price is incredible for the quality product you receive and for the fantastic customer service and workmanship received! I would recommend them highly to anyone and will be using them again in the future for all of my granite/stone or kitchen needs. A+++!

American Granite Design did my kitchen and my bathrooms and did a amazing job I would definitely recommend them!!

Everyone at American Granite Designs was a pleasure to work with. They were very helpful and communicative and quickly responded to my emails and calls. We were on a tight budget and they did a great job in helping us select the best materials and perform the countertop installation within our price range. They did an excellent job and I would recommend American Granite Designs to anyone.

Hard to imagine that this place has good reviews. I bought an expensive piece of granite there for my kitchen counter, that , if you look closely at it, has little rough spots all over it. These cannot be sanded out...they run all the way through. When I complained and they came out to look at it, they agreed that it had imperfections and only offered that, if I want to replace it, they will give me a discount. Also, I let them hook up the plumbing for my sink. What a disaster. It took them forever and they did a terrible jobIf you look at the post below, American Granite indicated that they had no record of me being a previous customer. No surprise there. I certainly am and, if fact, one of their sales people came to my home to look at the flaws in the granite and agreed that it certainly is flawed. He said that if I ever want to replace it, I can have discount. In my opinion, it should have been replaced at no cost.

Buyer beware, I had granite installed by American Granite Designed that was installed incorrectly from day one and as a result collasped into my island rupturing my gas line. Fortunately the line didnt blowup, however I had the fire department come to the house to shut the gas and prevent any further damage. I tried getting assistance from Carlos the owner however, his only answer to me was paying again to have this corrected. I received no customer support, something to take into account when purchasing from this company

I am a bit surprised by the reviews. I have only had wonderful experiences in dealing with American Granite. I have used them on multiple projects and have always had professional courteous and quality service.

This company was a night mare to work with and they take advantage of new homeowners. Carlos and his workers never show up for work and consistently reschedule. Carlos will ask for more money constantly even though he was given the correct amount. His workers steal from your house and will lounge around on your furniture and eat your food. We have only lived here for a few months and his work is already falling apart. We had to hire another contractor to fix his mess ups. Do not hire him and his team or you will be very unhappy. Still to this day I get knots in my stomach. Carlos shame on you!

Great service

Have been using American Granite for a long time. They used to be good, but I got screwed using them this time. They gave me a price on a kitchen and granite. When they started they said the cabinets had to be put together in my house. After quite some time putting them together they started on the kitchen. kitchen was poorly designed, cause the lazy susan was put next to the oven and didnt have much room to open. when they brought the granite in the men complained about how heavy it was and damaged the molding on the wall and the new exhaust fan. When they left they said they would be back to finish the kitchen and repair the damage, but NEVER DID. they wont return calls. My kitchen is still not completed, and I am very UNHAPPY

From my first visit, Tom was professional and courteous. He even stayed open late a few times to accomodate my schedule! Carlos came to measure...and he too was extremely professional, friendly and ACCURATE! My granite was installed perfectly... there isnt even a seam! It was measured and installed in only a week. What a convenience to browse so many granite slabs on-site in the Freehold store. Every piece is marked with both color and grade- no guesswork. Everything is right up front and honest. A COMPLETE pleasure to work with... and my countertop is beautiful!!!

Im happy to say that the situation regarding our granite has been resolved. Thank you to the staff and owners for working with us . We are very pleased with the out come.

Unfortunately I bought my kitchen counter from American Granite. The service was horrible, Carlos took days and even weeks to returned my call which delayed the delivery date of my granite. The installation was another horrific experience. All of my seams are very visible and the grout that they used has since cracked. The kitchen counter was installed in June 2012. The install guys were also very messy and did not clean up after themselves. Dont let the price fool you, granite can not be fixed once it is cut to fit your kitchen...you get what you pay for. Very disappointing
