My wife and I had a fantastic experience purchasing a certified pre-owned Subaru here. Our salesperson, Carlos, was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, and placed absolutely zero pressure on us. We had looked at the inventory online, and came in knowing which vehicles we were interested in. Carlos was able to speak about the features of each without attempting to steer our decision making in the slightest. One of the vehicles we were interested in was on the sales floor, and I assumed we would have to make an appointment to come back and test drive another day, but they arranged to bring it outside with no hassle. *Buy at your own risk from here*Purchased a used vehicle in March and was told they would take care of the registration and tags. I would have to get the vehicle inspected in my state, not out of the norm. Then only received temporary registration for 2 weeks close to the temporary tags expiring. I was then told again they would get everything done. After I made numerous calls to see of any updates, the day the registration expires I called back. I was finally told that I would have to go to the department of motor vehicles myself to get my permanent registration. Not to mention I was sold a vehicle with inoperable AC/heat and was advised to purchase the warranty and it would take care of the issue. Of course it wasnt covered and had to get the ac/heat fixed out of pocket.

What a surprise blessing! My lease was up and I returned to my original dealership. Unfortunately, it did not work out and I took a drive to freehold Subaru. Immediately, I was greeted at the door by the manager who called for assistance from Brian. Brian was very understanding of my situation and accommodating to what I can afford. Such an easy going experience from the first contact in email with Amy Teeter to working with Steve Ullrich and being in finance with David Poyner. My wife and I were in and out in about three hours. Would have been even quicker if we didnt test drive two cars. They honored the price that was emailed to me, let us do the test drives on our own and there was zero pressure the entire time. Find another place, especially if your getting a fix under a warranty claim. I was told “they will fix the cheapest part first and if it’s still a problem call us back” well a week later I did call back and again and again. No one ever called us back or answered the phone for MONTHS! Not to mention when I originally called to get it fixed they swore up and down I would owe money...... on a warranty that Subaru pays for........( I had to get a man on the phone to finally hear them say it was covered under warranty and no payment would be required) But I did get my car finally fixed by a ANOTHER Subaru who was honest and kind.

Yuliya is the absolute best salswoman!!! She was extremely kind & considerate with helping me make my purchase. The whole process was efficient and detailed. I was not sure if I wanted to purchase a new 2021 or consider a 2020 they had. Lester was helpful and I was able to look at both. Given the Covid situation, it was comforting to see all of the people in the show room wearing masks. In the end I decided on the 2020 however the offers I received for both were very competitive.

After a miserable and difficult 2 week process dealing with multiple dealerships lying about their prices and a true bait and switch situation I finally found Freehold Subaru. Their pricing was cheaper than anyone elses (another dealer actually told me if that price is real, jump on it). I came and picked the car up and did my paperwork in about an hr. The car was gassed up, warmed up, out front ready to go. Steven Ullrich was beyond helpful, friendly and even funny. It was not the experience Ive had before and was certainly the highlight to my 2 week new car buying experience. Obviously the best customer service in the world wont make up for a bad price but luckily after shopping around (I got numbers from 8 dealerships) no-one could beat freeholds numbers. The numbers did not change when I came in, not by a single penny.Great experience, Steven Ullrich is the man.

He was very friendly, helpful and informative during the transactions on the new legacy limited which I purchased. i do not like buying a car. It is almost like getting teeth pulled. This experience was one of my best, however. I would definitely say this experience was good and encourage others to go here for an important purchase or lease. Subaru has such a good reputation and this dealership helps enhance this status.

I would like to share my lease experience at Freehold Subaru. First and foremost my sales person Yuliya was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of every step in the process. She took her time with me, no pressure, but most of all she knew her vehicles. Yuliya is a professional and a Subaru expert. It was an absolute please to work with Yuliya and the entire Freehold team. The sales experience can be plesant when you are a good consumer and work with a team that understands customer service and experience. Lastly, was the final walkthrough Yuliya did with me explaining the features of the car and helping with the initial setup. Frankly, that was a 5 star performance. Great job and I love my Subaru!

This week we purchased a 2020 Outback from Freehold Subaru. Lester Soto, Art Forst, and Nick (in financing) were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process. The Outback is an excellent vehicle, comfortable, solid, peppy, roomy, and practical. We are grateful!

My husband and I went in to look at a used vehicle we saw online for my daughter’s first car. Yulia could not have been more friendly, accommodating, or honest. We found some issues (like trunk not opening with key). She had a tech come out to the car right away and he took care of it. We put a down payment on it and decided to purchase it the next day. That night, Yulia called to inform us that as they were detailing the car, they noticed the windows were tinted and asked if we wanted them to remove it since my daughter is a new driver. I don’t know if any other dealership would have taken the time to call and do that. Very satisfied with our experience here.

I gave them one star which they don’t even deserve. Con artists. I tried to lease an outback 2 years ago and was pushed to sign now or l miss the boat. I decided to miss on the bad deal. They kept on calling and offering better deals but I was in my new BMW. Again I decided to give them another run. Same thing, they give you a deal and say sign now or else. I chose else buying time to shop around. Next day I receive an email saying the car I wanted is sold. I sent a secret buyer only to find that the same car is offered to him. After a back and forth emails I was told that I misunderstood and the car here and to come now or lose it but I can pay none refundable deposit to reserve it. I decided to go later to finalize in person. While there and out of nowhere I was told a man just walked in and bought that car and no more cars available. The price and the games were so obvious. They are so not trustworthy and I’ll never deal with them. Not friendly, liars and dishonest.

Freehold Subaru is great! We had been looking for a specific vehicle and found it was coming in on their website. We inquired about the vehicle and Debbie responded with the specs of the car and the price. She was respectful and did not call per my wishes. She let us know when the vehicle was due in and we went to the dealership. We were introduced to Lester who had greeted us at the door. He was a wonderful person to deal with. Very pleasant and understood our needs. He took the time to explain the vehicle to us and we endedup driving out with the vehicle after our test drive. Everyone there was pleasant and friendly. We are glad that we found our vehicle online and went in to Freehold Subaru. It was the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
