Communication was perfect, quality top of the line, and overall experience as good as it gets - and it only got better. Fast forward to 4 months before the wedding and we found out we were expecting. At the dress fitting, Laura helped provide a plethora of options to make sure I looked and felt beautiful for the big day. Her professional, supportive, and expert eye beyond impressed me and my mom - we are so grateful for this team, Im not sure how we would have navigated without them!

While visiting from NYC, I passed by Elegant Forever Bridal Boutique while walking around downtown Frederick and Im so happy I decided to pop in. The display window was so inviting and the boutique was an intimate and comforting setting! Laura was truly amazing, caring and kind. She let me look around the shop and explained all the different types of dresses and their fits. I was so nervous about finding my perfect dress and Laura helped me feel more confident and excited to start my wedding dress journey. I will definitely be making an appointment with Laura ASAP!

This is a lovely bridal shop. They are very organized and communicative! The two ladies I worked with were very sweet, and when there was a minor error with an alteration, they booked me another appointment and quickly (and for free) fixed the issue. I had a great experience working with them.

I couldnt have had a better bridal experience than what I had at Elegant Forever! I was a little worried shopping for a dress in the middle of a pandemic, but I immediately felt comfortable at Elegant Forever. The studio was very clean and only allows for 1-2 parties at a time. The shop itself is beautiful and in a great location. Laura really takes the time to find you the perfect dress. There is a consultation fee, but it applies to your dress if you end up purchasing it there. My dress was made by an in-house designer and I was the first bride to try it on. I was able to purchase it right off the rack being the only one to have worn it. After finding my dress, I was able to book another appointment (at no fee) to have a dress reveal with my Bridesmaids :) The in-house seamstress, Luba, made sure my dress fit me like a glove. Both Laura and Luba are so great to work with and I would recommend booking an appointment here to any bride in the area!

Since day 1, Laura has been my biggest cheerleader, hyping me up and telling me that my dress is going to be 100% perfect and uniquely mine. Which is so important to me to have a 1-of-a kind dress and experience. As a military bride, it is tough doing everything from afar (we just got stationed in OK but my family is here in Frederick and we wanted to have the wedding here). Laura and her team made me feel so special and has gone the extra mile to ensure that I not only have my dress altered and ready for our big day, but that it is done while I am in town and that it is perfect!!! My daughter found her dress at Elegant Forever. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this boutique. You have the entire shop to yourself (for a reasonable fee). This fee also includes steaming each dress after it has been tried on. We felt very comfortable with all the covid precautions that are in place.Laura was extremely helpful in finding my daughters perfect dress. She listened to her preferences. She took her time and we did not feel rushed at all. We happened to be there when the seamstress Aster was there. Aster was able to pin and make suggestions to get the perfect fit.My daughter is thrilled with her dress. Thank you Elegant Forever Bridal for making it a special day for her.

I can’t say enough about Elegant Forever! My entire bridal dress experience was so easy and stress free. I love that they spend so much time making sure you get the best experience in your one-on-one appointments! Laura and Maggie are amazing in helping see your vision for your dream wedding dress and seeing through that they find the perfect dress to match. Luba is a goddess of a seamstress who helped to alter my dress to fit perfectly. She suggested ways I never even thought of to alter my dress. SO HAPPY I booked an appointment at EG! Best wedding dress shop in Frederick, great for a younger crowd. Sweet staff, fun location in historic downtown frederick. Charged for a consultation fee, but that provided me with a 1hr one on one to try on dresses without other customers around. Friends / family are welcome, but theres limited seating since its a small boutique. Nice prices for upscale lines like Maggie Sottero, Rebecca Ingram, etc. Also, they can do alterations on site, so I sized it exact, added a belt, and got a custom skirt bustle for dancing. Worth the prices to have a good shopping experience instead of online!

I found my dress today! Laura was insightful and patient as I tried on many dresses (even though I couldn’t get the first one she put me in out of my head.) She helped me through the process by being supportive and attentive, not pushy. This is a fantastic bridal shop!! Laura and Luna were fantastic ladies to work with. They have amazing bubbly personalities and positive attitudes that are contagious! They made me feel so comfortable as they helped me in and out of each dress I put on. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Laura and Maggie! It was a whirlwind of a day--my mom and sister were supposed to come to the appointment but they had car trouble, so last minute two of my best friends joined me. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! I finally found my perfect dress after trying on 20+ dresses. I even went to Davids bridal and found nothing. Ironically my dress was the first one that I tried on at Elegant Forever. The specialist really worked with you to find something special. They were even willing to alter their own dresses with no problem to get exactly what you envisioned, unlike other places. Especially with COVID they were extremely careful with cleaning between each guest, and steam every dress you try on. Most importantly they stayed within my budget which is beyond helpful. I am so eternally grateful for Elegant Forever and I cant wait for the big day !!!

The wedding dress shopping experience felt overwhelming for me at first. I have shopped at five bridal stores in the past few weeks hunting for a wedding dress.Elegant Forever is by far the best!!! You literally have the whole store to yourself when you book an appointment so it didn’t feel stressful at all. Theyve been in the business for 20+ years so you can tell they know what theyre talking about.I called Elegant Forever and I had an appointment scheduled immediately. One thing that I noticed was they are super friendly!!When I got to the shop, I noticed they had a large selection, carrying high end designers mixed with a few discount pieces. I appreciate how they take the top 10% of wedding dresses out there on the market and then have a selection just for me when I walk in.The designer consultant in helping me pick out a dress. She found which shades look better with my skin tone (Im more pale/olive) and which style was more flattering. Who knew there was 50 shades of white????I live in Washington, D.C. so the drive did feel far, but it was worth it!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience when looking for my wedding dress! Both Laura and Luba are an incredible team and go out of their way for every bride to make their dream come true! The dress I picked was an easy one...when you know, you know! Except it didn’t have sleeves and I really wanted lace sleeves for our fall wedding. Luba found the EXACT lace and built gorgeous sleeves with buttons for me!! I was a little nervous (of course) but they eased my mind every time and made sure that if I didn’t love it, they would fix it until I do! Highly, highly recommend this amazing duo!!

I don’t normally write reviews but after my incredible experience here, I wanted to let all the future brides out there know that Elegant Forever Bridal Boutique is truly the best bridal shop in the area. I went to multiple dress shops in Frederick, MD and none of them could compare to this place. Laura and Maggie were more than amazing - not just knowledgeable but truly wanted me to find the right dress for me. I never felt pressured to “just settle” or to go outside my budget. After saying yes to the dress, I went home but started having second thoughts (I know, I’m one of those indecisive brides that overthinks everything). I texted Laura the next morning and she was so understanding and gracious. She told me to come in that evening and she would let me try it on again. Of course, I was embarrassed to go in again but she was so accommodating and and did everything she could to make me feel happy and confident in my decision. Laura worked to help me find the perfect dress and Luba finished the tailoring in only a week, given my tight schedule (military). The shop is very intimate and they only serve one bride at a time, which adds to the very personalized experience. Prices are fair, given the DC area. Would definitely recommend!

I went to another bridal shop prior to visiting Elegant Forever and had found a dress I really liked, but wanted to see what Elegant had to offer. I told Laura the colors for our wedding, the style dress that I liked, and wouldn’t you know it the first dress they picked WAS THE ONE! As soon as I saw myself in it I immediately started to cry which naturally had my entire crew crying. I did try on a few other dresses but came back to that first one. All I can say is Elegant Forever made the whole moment so special, it was absolutely wonderful. Not once did I feel pressured or pushed. I highly recommend!!

The first time I met Laura we were shopping for my sister-in-laws wedding dress. She had such a wonderful experience that when it was time to pick out my own wedding dress, this was the only place I even considered. We had such a personal experience and Laura and Luba both treated us like family throughout the whole process. From the beginning they made the process so much fun with a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider, to the end where you got so many treats like a lavender sachet and a bath bomb to de-stress before the big the big day! I’m so glad I made my appointment at Elegant Forever! Laura advises that I visit a warehouse store to try on some gowns so I knew better what I liked. It was Fantastic advice! I also really liked that they have the appointment deposit! It shows that thy are committed to your appointment time. When I walked into my appointment I was thrilled to find that it is a private appointment and that they were genuinely excited to work with me! I was able to have a really comfortable conversation with the ladies and they have a great eye for details! I was able to find my perfect dress! It was the first one Laura pulled!! She even helped me make some customization decisions to make my wedding dress my very own. The prices are very reasonable and they will not nickel and dime you for alterations and fittings! I love the location, the people, and the quality of service! Plus the wonderful selection!! Thank you so much for making dress shopping so fun and relaxing!

I am so thankful to Laura & Luba for the amazing customer service they provided. I said YES to the dress October 2019. As an out of town bride, I was only able to fly in a couple of times to run other wedding errands... during those short visits Laura always managed to find a time slot for me even during holiday weekends and Luba worked endlessly to make it my dream dress. It was a personalized experience and I appreciate Laura being such an advocate for her brides. 100% recommend this team to help make you feel like the most gorgeous bride!

They were nice enough, I guess, but they charged way too much for alterations. They should have had the bride order a brand new dress but sold her the one they had in the store (which was in excellent condition) and it was at least 4 sizes too big. Cost of alterations were discussed prior to purchase and bride was told the alterations would only be about $200; however, the cost was originally quoted at $1100 (more than half the cost of the dress!!!). They were finally able to bring the cost down to just under $800 - still way more than the original quote and way more than it should have cost (or would have cost if a dress closer to her actual size had been ordered).

If you haven’t already scheduled an appointment with Elegant Forever Bridal, I strongly suggest you do so – five minutes on the phone with Ms. Laura and you’ll be more excited to find your perfect wedding dress than you’ve ever felt in your life! The staff at this establishment are so passionate about what they do, and they love each of their brides so very much. I was so impressed with their dedication to my happiness as the bride, no matter how big or small my request/question/concern/preference was. It was very clear from our very first session that their goal was to find me my perfect dress and to make sure it fit my body perfectly. Even after there was a small mix-up at my final fitting, Ms. Laura went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely happy with my dress and all its little details – I can say with complete confidence that these ladies love what they do and sincerely want to make your specific bridal vision a reality.

I almost gave up, and then she suggested trying on a dress with the option of having lace straps/sleeves sewn on. The second I looked in the mirror I knew it would be PERFECT. Throughout the whole process, you could tell that Laura really knew and loved what she was doing. And an added bonus, her seamstress Brenda is amazing as well! Knowing that I did not have to go anywhere else for alterations made everything a seamless process. And both Laura and Brenda made sure that I was 100% happy with everything before I took home my dress. Brenda was even able to do alterations for my Moms outfit as well. In the end, I wound up feeling more like family then a client and would recommend to anyone to check out Elegant Forever for your wedding dress.

The Elegant Forever team did an amazing job on my dress! It had lots of layers and needed alterations in many different places. They were able to make it fit like a glove and make it look like it was made for me! The best part is that they accommodated me when I was in town. I live in CA so was only in MD a few times before the wedding. Every time I came to town they made sure to get me on the calendar as many times as needed to ensure it was perfect. My experience at Elegant Forever was better than I could have imagined! The private appointments allow for personal care and a relaxed environment. Laura knew the right questions to ask to get me the perfect dress and made it a happy experience for my whole family. Incredibly professional environment while also providing personal care and concern for the bride. The little details such as giving a bottle of sparkling cider to celebrate me “saying yes to the dress” and the locally produced apple juices were lovely. One of her seamstresses, Brenda, was also very kind and made the perfect alterations to my dress in a timely manner. I cannot recommend this bridal shop more!!!

I found my dress..❤❤❤ it was the first I tried on.. the veil everything so beautiful and well put together..Laura is the sweetest and I enjoyed her energy and kindness. Totally recommended.. def. Not kid friendly place only because the space is tight and not much space for children to walk around..

I had a nightmare of an experience with Elegant Forever Bridal. I brought my dress in for alterations 6 months before my wedding. During my consultation visit, Laura and her seamstress examined my dress and quoted me a price. They were very pleasant to work with and the price was reasonable. Fast forward to just 1 month before my wedding, out of the blue, Laura tells me she is assigning me a new seamstress who unfortunately charges much higher rates. Even though I had not requested any additional alterations to be made to the dress than what was originally quoted. Laura said there was additional lining in the dress she didnt see during the initial consultation, which she would have to charge me for. Laura said if I did not want to pay the hundreds more, I could take my dress somewhere else. I was completely shocked that Elegant Forever put me in that situation, especially when nothing changed on my end. Not being able to pay new high price, I was scrambling just 1 month before my wedding to finish the alterations myself alongside my grandmother. Elegant Forever refunded me only a portion of what I had payed already, not the full amount. Absolutely horrible experience. I felt that it was a bait and switch on their part. I did not ask for a new seamstress, and it was their mistake not seeing all the lining during the consultation, so I felt that since they made those changes and mistakes, they should have honored the original quote they gave me. They had six months to look at my dress. Why did it take them so long to discuss this with me? It was a nightmare.

Such a WOW experience!!We recently had a wedding dress appointment with the stylists. The Elegant Forever crew is hands down my favorite - incredibly warm, welcoming, non judgmental, and honest!I walked in and was met at the entrance by the design consultant. There was nice classical music and I had an appointment time of two hours where I had the boutique to myself, my sister, and two best friends. I had sent pictures from Pinterest via text a few days prior so they already knew what I was looking for (modern, bohemian, non traditional).The shop was clean and felt luxurious with so many bridal dresses!! They also have veils, jewelry, undergarments, and tiaras. There was a seamstress there who pinned the dress while I was trying it on so I could picture what it would look like after alterations.I fell in love with two dresses, but decided to continue to shop around to keep my options open. I visited two other shops later that month (one in Frederick and another in Bethesda). Nothing really compared to how Elegant Forevers exceptional service and trustworthiness.I came back for a second appointment and purchased my dream dress! This was the best decision I ever made!! One good thing is that the dresses are all brand new and from top designers.I thought how it was cool how their team goes to Europe every year to anticipate the next season of wedding styles. They truly understand the industry and how to make women look like a million dollars! I highly recommend this boutique for anyone who wants to find a dream wedding dress - this is a gem!

I checked out this store on behalf of my now sister-in-law. The store was closed when I walked by but after I called, they were sweet enough to open the door for me to come in and scope the place out for her off-hours. My sister-in-law ended up buying the most gorgeous dress there and I cant say enough about how helpful and attentive the owner and assistant were. It was so personal and comfortable there (and Ive been to a lot of places). The selection was wonderful too. Lastly, my sister-in-law is Puerto Rican. The owner allowed us to FaceTime her mother so she could see the dress options and even spoke Spanish to her explaining all the details. They definitely care and it shows! Thank you!

MAKE. AN. APPOINTMENT!!! Listen, some people know exactly what they want and what they are doing when it comes to their wedding....I am not that person! I had no idea where to go, what I wanted, what my size was..nothing! Dress shopping is supposed to be one of the most fun parts of wedding prep, but it was what I was most nervous for. I am a plus size girl and chesty at that, and my fear was going somewhere that would have nothing in my size to try on. After reading countless reviews, I booked my appointment. The first awesome thing is the privacy. It is by appointment only for a reason...the space is reserved just for you! I LOVED this and it instantly made me feel SO much more comfortable. Laura and Joey had picked out several dresses that they thought I would like after reviewing my Pinterest board (WHAT A GOOD IDEA!). They showed me each dress before I tried them on, and even had picked some dresses I would never have picked for myself. They made me 100% comfortable throughout the entire time. They accessorized me for a complete look and to help me with my vision! We all had so much fun and I felt like I had known them forever! The very first dress I tried on, was the one I fell in love with! It was the first shop I had been to and they didn’t pressure me into make a decision right away, which made me love them even more! I decided to try on some other dresses just to make sure, But nothing has compared! Prices are very reasonable but the quality truly stands out. After being at other shops it’s obvious how much pride they put into their dresses, the shop and their business in general. Trust me when I say these ladies know what they are doing! I had a scheduled consultation at Elegant and then worried about government shutdowns and asked to come in with almost no notice. Laura was so accommodating and sweet!With no real idea of what I wanted, she picked out different styles for me to try and quickly figured out what I liked. Everything she picked out was beautiful! By the 4th dress I was sold. To top it all off, Luba was able to put in a bustle in no time at all. I walked out with my dress, in perfect condition, a week after picking it out.I would highly recommend Elegant Forever to anyone in the area. I had a full day of bridal appointments and I definitely saved the best for last! Laura and her seamstress, Judy, were amazing. I sent her a few photos from pinterest, but my ideas were all over the place. Somehow, she managed to pull the most beautiful dresses I had seen all day! I fell in love with a dress that was very different from the top contenders up until that point. Laura was so nice and I never once felt pressured to buy anything or make a decision. Having Judy there was wonderful. The two of them were able to show me the dresses as they would truly look on my body by clipping and pinning not only the backs and sides, but even the hemlines! I had an amazing experience there and am so happy I was able to say yes to the dress at Elegant Forever!!!

I absolutely loved Laura and Jovanna. I actually had a few appointments at different dress shops. Laura kept in contact with me all the way up until my appointment, which was something that none of the other shops did. She sent texts, called me, asked questions and made me so excited to go dress shopping. You can tell she loves her job and loves the brides to be. She got emotional with us when we finally decided on my dress. There was a lot to chose from within my budget (>1500) and everything was amazing quality. I NEVER write reviews, but promised the girls I would give them a review because the were so amazing. You pay 25 dollars to have the whole place to yourself, door is locked when you get there so no one can walk in while you are trying on dresses, and you get the 25 dollars back when you say yes to your dress. It was completely worth it. I also got a 5% discount for being a soon to be military spouse, and they worked with my short timeline, it’s hard enough when your fiancé is stationed on the opposite side of the country so I appreciated them working with me and not making me feel like that was an inconvenience for them. I could write so much more. I would tell any bride to be in the area to go to them!!!

Shopping here yesterday with my niece. Great experience with Laura and Becky. They were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The shop was very tasteful and had plenty of seating. The prices were impressive and the dresses were very nice. I will certainly recommend them to anyone.

Love this bridal boutique for their helpfulness and the place is gorgeous! I called in desperate need of an ivory veil to wear to my wedding the following week and Laura was able to accommodate me for a same day appointment. She helped me try on veils and when I wasn’t sure how I felt about them she showed me some beautiful hair jewelry pieces, one of which I loved and purchased. I highly recommended this bridal shop for the selection and personalized attention given...I walked in frazzled and walked out feeling like a beautiful calm bride to be.

I went to Elegant Forever on the first day I was dress shopping and it also happened to be the last! Laura was so helpful and knowledgeable about bridal wear and she let us know so many options and alterations that were available even before trying on dresses.While I had texted her pictures of dresses I was interested in, I wasnt falling in love with any of them as the one. After speaking a bit more with me, she decided to throw me a curve ball that knocked it out of the park! Because the month of June was having a sale, I received 20% off of what was already a reasonably priced dress that also came under my average budget. The prices were completely fair given the amazing quality of dresses. They are gorgeous!Laura is very detail oriented and I truly trust her from her professionalism, friendly attitude and passion to make your appointment a special day!

Worst experience of the wedding planning process. They rescheduled my appointments 5 times due to poor time management. Additionally, the adjustments they made in the dress almost ruined it. When that happened, she tried to sell me one of her dresses. She made a point to tell me over and over that she didnt make my dress as an explanation for the difficulties we faced during the alterations process. And when I was in tears over the dress she ruined, the owner insisted that I try on her dresses and then tried to pressure me into purchasing. Overall, the experience at this shop was terrible.

Heres the thing, i hate being lied to. On the site it says that dress alterations are done on site. I went in and asked to see my dress, she said that she couldnt bring it out. After demanding she said that the dress was offsite and finally confessed that it was at one of her employees homes. This is why when I got my dress back it smelled terribly. Please, if you value your wedding dress, do not go here.

I had the most awesome experience here at Elegant Forever; I brought my dress in to get altered and very nervous since I was not getting good service from other places so going in was a big step for me. Highly recommend this bridal boutique! With two months until we tied the knot, i reached out to this boutique and spoke to Laura. She told me to text her some more details and we corresponded via text and phone. She was willing to help and i felt she truly meant it! I was on a pretty tight budget. I went and looked elsewhere closer to home with no luck. I then called to see if we could come within the hour and she was able to accommodate us. Upon arriving, the boutique is very cute and quaint in the middle of downtown frederick. Laura the owner was so welcoming along with her staff! She makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. After trying on two dresses, i found my dream dress! Laura and her seamstress Luba who was also VERY knowledgeable and honest about what she can and can’t do with the dress, what will work, etc said she can definitely make it work! I was super nervous, but these ladies went above and beyond making sure this dress would fit me like a glove. They were honest during the process and kept me at ease at every fitting. I love the fact that it’s by appointment only so you get there one on one divided attention! At my third fitting, i took the dress home. It fit like a glove just as Luba and Laura said it would! Was very impressed with their workmanship. Laura at Elegant Forever was great! I went to several other bridal salons, but EF had amazing prices and even more amazing gowns. I fell in love with a dress that was nothing like my vision, but was the absolute right dress for me. Do not hesitate to use Brenda Choy (her personal seamstress) for your alterations. I wanted extensive alterations (slight change to skirt shape, changed a corset back to button back, added a removable long sleeve insert) and Brenda worked complete magic with my dress. They made the process easy and affordable, and it was a pleasure to go back to the salon to see these sweet ladies for fittings.
