Brakes were squeaking a little sent Milex an email about my issue. Heather(🥰) the professional and nice receptionist got the email and contacted me right away. She told me to bring the truck in. Work was done so fast felt like my truck was never at their shop lol. Anyway your vehicle is in good hands.

Milex always does our auto repairs/maintenance in a timely manner. Their prices are fair and you know the work was done properly. Everyone there is so friendly and professional. I highly recommend Milex for anyones auto needs.

I took my car here on July 1st for a routine oil change and also had the coolant flushed. The next day as I was driving it, smoke started pouring out of the hood and the temperature warning light came on. We called Milex and they advised to have the car towed to them. They fixed the problem at no charge to us, paid for the tow, gave us a coupon for a free oil change, washed the car, delivered the car to our house, gave us a gift card to Starbucks and apologized for the mistake that was made the day before. My husband and I have been getting our cars serviced here for years and have always been happy with the service, but this time we felt they went above and beyond for us! We were so impressed with their professionalism and their customer service. We will recommend them to all our friends and family!

Honest Review** I visited Milex Complete Auto care on several occasions and give them 3 stars. First let me say they have excellent customer service! Their prices are reasonable also. The repairs they completed were great as the issues they repaired did not come back. I had two problems with this shop. The first one is that the last time I took my car to this location they could not fix an issue where my car kept on losing oil between oil changes. They charged me for a repair that did not fix the problem. I ended up having to take my car to Honda to get the issues resolved. They found oil leaks in 4 different places. The other issue I had with this shop was with a female employee who identified herself as the manager. She was rude, condescending, and disrespectful. I dont know her name, but she worked at the front counter and picked up phone calls. Up until that point I had great experiences with this shop. They did compensate me with a free oil change and diagnosis the last time I was there, but I specifically did not return because of the rude employee. Just telling my story.

As someone who works on cars, Ive never set up an appointment for my car to go into another shop and the idea of strangers in my car made me anxious. I chose milex because they were convenient, after getting my car back I can say I will now be chosing milex because not only are they convenient for me, they were courteous, working with me to make sure I got my car back the same day and provided great work at a decent price. Though the shop seemed small, the front office was well kept and the employees were professional. The employees all had a great attitude and seemed very glad to be working there. I met Albert and his staff about 9 years ago when I was graduating high school after my Dad introduced to his local shop. He was able to help with me first car and the maintenance required. I moved to Germantown for about 5 years and this past year came back to Frederick and had my first appointment this past weekend. Its definitely something to say about a company when you can come back almost a decade later and the service is consistently the same great brand. From the confirmation of the appointment, the fact I had to reschedule because of a work call to the drop off, and explanation of the work and services done. I am so happy I came back to Milex. I have been having spots on my driveway and informed Albert. He and his team did a thorough check and determined the only fluid was a/c. I have complete confidence of the integrity, thoroughness and professionalism of Milex of Frederick.In the past I have had other service organizations recommend multiple repairs that upon checking delivering the list of repairs to Milex, I was informed that most of the ordered repairs were no required. In another incident, my sons transmissionhad continuous leaks. The transmission service company kept putting in dyes and charging for three services as they were unable to loate te source of the leak. We brought the vehicle to Milex. I expected Albert to add dye. He stated that he had equipment to check without adding more dye. Within minutes we were informed that there was a leak in a line. The cost of repairs was much less than what we had paid for the multiple unsuccessful testing.

Great personal and service

I only brought my car to Milex to get an oil change and I told them to do a full maintenance inspection because I want my car to last a long time. After several days and minor services (A/C repair, brake adjustment ect) I got my car back. Within hours of having my car it burst into flames. The manager looked at my car and insisted it was a battery fire and he was not at fault. Yet, it was very obvious this was false because my battery was on the opposite side of the fire still intact. Even the insurance claims investigator didnt buy their story. DONT TRUST MILEX!

Hands down the best service in Frederick. I am a young female & was expecting to get the run around about my AC system not blowing cold air. Boy was I wrong. Steve explained everything to me- listened to my concerns & allowed me to explain exactly what it is my car was doing. Within 4 hours they had my car torn down & called me telling me what it needed. Knowing I’m a broke college student, they gave me options for a couple of bandaid fixes to get me through the summer, as well as a complete fix to the AC condenser. Not to mention, i got to speak directly with the mechanic that did the work. He told me not to get rid of my car that it’s got a lot of life left in it- which is definitely something i want to hear from someone with a lot of experience. All in all I believe they have the best prices & lowest hourly labor rate. I have been to a lot of shops in Frederick but this Milex has gained a customer for life!!! Went for a MD inspection but my brakes were bad, so they fixed the Front Hub Bearing and the wheels before the inspection.

Milex is GREAT! Albert is an extremely honorable guy (a former Navy guy I understand). I totally trust them to do exceptional work, take good care of my cars and do it all at a good price. Everything is always fully explained to me and it is impossible to believe there is a better auto care place out there. Ive been using them for several years. I take supremely good care of my all my cars including one that is 18 years old and its comforting to know I have a partner to keep them running great.

This Auto Care place by far is the best place I have had my car worked on. I have never done a Google Review but the service was beyond my expectation so I wanted to post one. The Manager Steve was kind and was straight forward about what was needed for my car. He treated me like we were friends for a while. The prices for work done was several hundreds of dollars less than other quotes I got from other Auto care place. the work was great quality . This will definitely be my place for all my auto needs in the future . I thank Steve and the staff for the great work on my truck.

This place is great! I needed my car fixed on Saturday and they did an awesome job. People there are friendly and price is good. I am glad I stumbled upon this place and I will definitely be back for my future car needs.

My sister recommended the place after she was awed by a minor install they did almost free. I had anticipated that I would spend around $300 for them to diagnose no crank no start that turned out to be busted fuse. But I eventually paid around $500 after they recommended and changed the serpentine belt and some minor cabling work. Overwall, a decent service from courteous people. Im really not sure that value wise, they stand above and beyond the competition: but I will be back as Im planning on letting them work on my second car.

I have been going to Milex since they first opened on East Street. I originally went there because they provided the lowest quote for the repairs that I needed. The owner, Al, has always been great. This shop still provides the best service at the lowest cost. I refer everybody and anybody to Milex. All of their staff is great and I am so happy to have found a reliable mechanic that I can count on.

The owner Albert Daniel was ordered to pay me the $4700 in damages his shop caused to my car. he has tried everything from avoiding my calls (never called me after requesting call backs for the better part of a year) and pretended like everything was alright. well the ruling against him proved everything isnt alright.the issue involved his shop messing up the wiring job they were hired to do which caused permanent damage to my nissan gtrs transmission module and the brand new clutches that were installed.im not over inflating the story when i say he refused to speak to me at all. it wasnt until he got served that he finally called me after the better part of a year and he claimed i pay managers to handle these things. when i asked if the managers could handle refunds he said no i dont even write checks....my wife is the one that handles that. i then asked if they need your approval and they dont have the ability to decide on their own why wouldnt you call me even just once to discuss?? he replied with i thought the issue was resolved.....somehow he thought months of me and my father calling day after day and his employees emailing and calling him day after day to call me back meant that the issue was resolved.in short dont risk having damage done to your new or old vehicle at this shop. the owner needed ME to explain how the components in the car worked and thats not something that should happen with someone that claims to be a certified tech.oh also fun bit of info....the owner refuses to send tech to get a recert or to go to training to keep their certs up to date. in other words he believes in a 1 cert and thats it for life even though your reuired to go to training and to take a recert every 5 years according to the information easily searchable online......i guess when ur hurting for money those recerts r throw away even though he still claims to be certified. i found this part out after all this went down.

I just moved to the area and needed a MD state inspection along with an unexpected mechanical repair. The customer service is among the best Ive experienced in car service. Even though I am a young female, Milex did not take advantage of me and my lack of car knowledge. They are fairly priced, considerate, and took care of my car needs immediately. Taking my car to Milex in Frederick was the best decision Ive made in months! Id been having problems with a leak that had cropped up suddenly, and another repair shop had suggested lots of expensive testing that just didnt seem reasonable. I brought my car to Milex based on the great reviews from other customers, and Im so glad I did! They found and fixed the problem right away, which the other shop should have easily been able to do. Milex took care of my car in such an honest and straight-forward manner, and I am so grateful! In addition to being honest, the people there are super nice, plus their rates are very fair. Got a call saying the car was fixed, paid the $736 and the car(same issues they said they fixed)broke down before it made it out of their parking lot. Returned to the counter, said that was not the problem, please undo what you did and try again. Basically told no, we did the wrong work but you still have to pay for it.All in all they work off guess work at your expense, poor business practice. There are much better places in Frederick to have your work done by professionals. Rude, unprofessional and not qualified to work on vehicles obviously, it was a 1989 Beretta, a kindergarten car for any real mechanic. AVOID this business.

Run, dont walk away from this place. You are guaranteed to be hit with unnecessary work from this place. I just moved to Maryland and needed a state inspection prior to completing my registration. I called ahead for the state inspection and they said Id be able to get in the same day but I would have to drop it off, so I did. At the end of the day they came back with a $1600 quote to do the needed repairs to pass inspection. So I asked for a list of fail points, paid the $100 for the failed inspection and took my car.Upon reviewing the quote it became obvious that this place is price gouging its clients. Now to be fair their hourly labor rate is average for this above average area at $100/hr. What was really surprising was the fact that they were trying to charge $645 in parts that after a simple google search I found from multiple reputable dealers starting at $153!! I understand that companies need to make some money but a 400+% mark up is ridiculous.If this was the only issue maybe I would have given the place 3 stars but theres more... What the establishment didnt realize was that I had worked as a mechanic in the Marine Corps and I have a friend with a shop so I took the car to his shop to do the work on the vehicle myself. Not to delve too deeply into the technical the issues, they found suspension issues that caused me to fail along with some light bulbs that were out and the emergency break not holding. As soon as I got under the vehicle I could easily see that the fog light they deemed out was simply hanging out of the socket, something anyone could have easily seen had they been looking at the suspension, but they just wanted to add to the ticket. They also quoted $148 in labor to adjust the emergency break. I ask anyone to google what it takes to do that adjustment...a flat head screwdriver is all you need and in many cases (mine included) you can adjust it while sitting in the drivers seat in 30 seconds. Google it and you will see I am not exaggerating.Again if this was the end of the issues I may have given the place 2 stars...but theres more!!! So after I finished all the required repairs I still had to bring it back to Milex to get reinspected. When I brought the car back in they seemed surprised that all the work got done and all they needed to do was the re-inspection. But I also asked them to do an alignment and oil change to give them a little additional business because even after all their shadiness I still wanted to throw them some money for their time. I dropped the car off at 9 am and at 4:30 pm I had still not heard from them. I called and they let me know that my car failed inspection but only because of the Emergency break not holding, but were able to do the alignment and oil change no problem!! That was the last straw!!! I have multiple witnesses who watched us test the E break the previous night with no issues but all of the sudden it wasnt working again!!! BS!! When I confronted the desk guy Steve he asked why I even brought it back to them to do the alignment and oil change, that it was a slap in the face to the mechanics in the back that I didnt want to pay the 400% mark up, I couldnt believe that was his response. The truth is they failed the vehicle for something that shouldnt have failed because they were pissed I didnt pay their outrageous prices. 50% of something would have been better than 100% of nothing which is all the business they are ever getting from me again, nothing!! Hopefully this review will help some people avoid getting ripped off by this shady mechanic.

I am writing this review on behalf of my boss who just phoned me and told me a most incredible story. On a Saturday at 2 pm my boss broke down with his 2005 Mercedes 320 CLK far from home in NJ. These people performed a MIRACLE and worked beyond normal hours to fix a totally complicated electrical problem on his car. He reported that while he waited he was given a private waiting room with a TV, Coffee, immaculate shop, bathroom.....and he was so moved by how these people treated him he insisted I post this immediately. They fixed his car (several hours with multiple mechanics) and he made it home safely 300 miles away. He hugged the owner and was literally moved emotionally. (his words). He said Praise the Lord for people like this, they went soooooooo far beyond the call of duty I have no words..

Ive been going to Albert (owner/mechanic) and Milex for years. I used to only use him for tires since I owned Volvos and went to a friend of his for Volvo work. After I bought a Bronco though I take it to him exclusively to work on unless Im out of the state. Milexs people are good at their job and have no problem just taking a look at things and letting your know whats going on without the pressure of making it seem like every little thing is life threatening or worrying. Most recently, last weekend in fact, I got an alignment and balancing done on my moms Volvo; that car was shaking when ever you hit the brakes. The last place she took it to did an awful job on it. Milex got me back on the road in about an hour and the car drives smooth as glass. I usually tell my friends to take their car to Milex because I know the work is quality and the prices are fair. Stop by, let them know my review sent you, and get that check engine light checked out.
