Im rewriting my review and bumped up my stars. They are doing much better. Inside scoop, if you like Lays potato chips get them here. Chips are never broken or crushed. Big full chips whole bag! Really.

Went to buy railroad ties, bought them, had to load them, no one willing to help cut the banding. I flagged down 4 fork truck drivers, and they pretended not to see me.I waited 20 min and then decided to see where the hell they went. One was doing circles in the fork truck, 2 others were talking to female employees, the other was just gone. I went in and got my money back. there was no, Ill get someone to help you, it was, your money was credited back to your account thank you bye.

I love shopping at Menards. After coming out of the isolation of COVID, it is great to see all the new items, good prices and a fun time !

I had a pleasant experience...customer service was nice and friendly.

I purchased 60 sheets of drywall and paid to have it delivered into my home. My contractor took measurements and said the sheets would swing around. When they arrived the driver and delivery company White gloves transportation contracted threw Menards...he looked where it was going... he started to bring in the dry wall, and leaned it up against my express brown wall...then he was trying to swing it, and was confused...my nephew showed him how to swing it, and it worked, you cant be at each end...!! Nick continued to bring in drywall, leaning it up against my walls............. rushing like he was in a major hurry... well I have 60 sheets of damaged drywalls, which all need to be cut down!!! The framing is set for full sheets of drywall and 10 of them are completely broken in half hanging on buy the paper... They trashed my home, put holes in my walls, scrapped all my walls...and he pointed out a small 1 inch hole in ceiling? I have almost $4,000.00 in damages...need to paint my hallway, repair all the walls gong down, my bill for hanging and muddying went up, and he doesnt understand? However my contractor explained the domino affect...more cuts, more labor, more muddying, and now I have to pay for texture...or labor goes up!!! And he then decides to give it to his insurance...with all pics and estimates, still not resolved!!! Franklin has the worse delivery service I have ever come ac cross....make sure White Glove Transp isnt delivering your stuff.

The associate helped me immensely , I was very satisfied with his help , I couldnt of for this myself.

Disappointed in the curb side pick up yesterday. We arrived at the site and called the number posted. We rang for ouer 8 min before the phone was answered. When the delivery was made it was abrupt, like we were putting some one out. This service needs some attention. I am 85 years old with some balance problems so this is a real service when it works well. John

I used the key copying kiosk and it was so fast and easy I couldnt believe it. I had been putting this task off for months, thinking it would be difficult or time consuming. The machine makes the keys for you on the spot.

No one asked if we needed help and not enough employees available to go to to find out where things are in the huge store. Aside from that I have never seen a place that waas so big and so many things to offer like this location.

They should change their jingle to save big money when its in stock at MenardsBought a car battery their and it died. Had a 3 year warranty. Went to change it out and what do you know they dont have it in stock. Then get attitude from I believe the front end manager.

This Menards is 2 minutes from our house. I love the convenience and they have a great selection. My husband is a licensed contractor so we shop at Menards for almost everything. However, our most recent experience was eye opening. It was my husband and I with our 2 kids, the store was almost empty due to a storm. We were looking for a plant and employee came and sat next to the area we were shopping at then we made our way down the aisles and she continued to follow us. If your employees are going to racially profile, at least teach them to be discreet.

Every single employee i talked to was very helpful, and pleasant. One employee in particular Jason in lumber went above and beyond to find a specific roll of tape I needed for my subfloor project.

None of the advertised fans were in stock, and the sales floor says that they will honor a substitute product in its place ... however the Customer Service Reps would not honor a substitute. The reps are rude and condescending. They claimed that the management was too busy to resolve the issues.DO NOT SHOP THIS MENARDS !!!

I appreciate the effort of having everyone including customers wear masks... but you should make sure the employees are at least wearing them correctly.Wearing your masks under you nose should mean others dont have to wear one since it is equally effective.

Many things to choose from for household fixer uppers and such. But didnt have any colorful outdoor garden figurines or decorations.

I have always loved Menards not only for myself but my business! This last year a window order I placed, had seven windows where the dimensions were somehow put in the opposite way, meaning height was width and width became height! The other windows in my order were fine! When I brought this up to the General Manager of the store Greg, He told me it was my problem and there was nothing he would do about it! After trying to reach out to the corporate office, they asked me to continue to take this up with the manager even after I stated he was unwilling to help me. Eventually I was emailed again by corporate office to contact the manager. You will not get to talk to humans besides the reception when you call corporate or when the manager tells you to file a complaint online! I’m guessing they do this because they don’t want to be bothered. So even trying to talk with a corporate person, is next to impossible! After I contacted the Manger of the Franklin store again, he said if he talked to the window and door manager and they could sell the windows he would get back to me! Greg did return my call saying the other manager would be able to sell them BUT HE WOULD CHARGE ME 50% RESTOCKING FEE. Which they did, because seeing the windows were reversed, I surely couldn’t keep them and cut new openings! This mistake which was entered wrong in the computer was my costly mistake, because as I was told, What’s on paper is correct”! To this day I am more upset at the fact, I have always had great service, enjoyed their stores and products. Between my business and I, there have been months where I spent well over $8000.00, and my parents with their company spend much more than even I! This 50% restocking fee has hurt the way I feel about Menards, also some of my family, friends and clients. Who understand a Restocking fee at $1600.00 is a lot of money! I guess when your a big corporate giant like Menards, who cares if you lose some business! Another fascinating thing I found out, that they have a very negative review with the better business bureau. I just wanted people to know, be careful when ordering. As I don’t, and I’m sure most people don’t have an extra $1600.00 to flush down the toilet! What a shame! I will say now, I have discovered Lowe’s is a very nice store and I will continue to shop there now, except for the few items I can only find Menards. I have figured out that in the amount of time I’ve been disappointed with Menards, Lowe’s has been happy to take the, $ 18,906.56 I would have spent at Menards! What a bummer!

Menards has always been a place with sub par products at low prices with weekly gimmick sales, which used to be part of its charm. Kind of like a Harbor Freight with crappy building materials where most of the stuff is garbage, but some of it was actually pretty decent depending on what you were looking for. Now, more often than not, the sales associates have absolutely zero product knowledge, and are frankly, quite lazy. They have a plethora of mismarked prices throughout the store that you only find out about at the register, and that is assuming that you are paying close attention to big booty Judy scanning items at warp speed. I have finally had enough of this place. For my random needs where I dont go through a vendor, Ill just start going to home depot or Lowes.

I couldnt find no help in plumbing all these young kids are hiding in the warehouse talking no customer service at Menards and plumbing for sure bad

Elated that Menards - Speedway had a washer in stock and we were able to bring it home same day, a five star purchase experience at noon today. Five hours later, our friend, who was in need of a fridge, went to purchase one from your store after hearing how pleased we were. The fridge model he wanted was not in stock so he agreed to take the floor model. Two employees met him in back to load it. They laid the unit down on its side and pushed it into his truck! He made them stand it up as they should have first done. Plus the one side was scratched up from pushing it into his truck bed. He was offered $25 refund for defacing his new fridge. That whole experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. I can only post one rating so you get a generous 3. Five for us and one for our friend (who has no internet access) Maybe loading practices with your afternoon crew?

They now make you where a mask due to covid, which is odd since for a month and a half before. A person wasnt required, but now that they have masks to sell, they require it. Seems a little shady in away. Otherwise a great store to have while doing a home project.

Wear a mask or dont enter. Had to sell myself a washing machine .hard to find anyone in the appliance department limited options. The whole store has been rearranged I asked 4 different employees where to find an axe. Not the same experience Im used to. I WILL NOT WEAR A MASK AGAIN

Our cashier was amazing but Im still bewildered about the mask and children rule. I have two boys who want to learn guy stuff and I am unable to take them with me. If I didnt have a baby sitter what would I do? I full on refuse to have someone do my shopping for me and pay them...

I found most of what I was looking for, pricing was okay, but really had to wander quite a bit to find what I purchased. I was not asked if I needed help, even though I passed several employees multiple times.

Menards is a good place to go for general hardware, outdoor and garden needs. Prices are usually reasonable and they frequently have rebates going on. The staff tends to be courteous and helpful. My one issue, and 8t is true of pretty much every similar store in the area is that they start replacing the winter items far too early for Southeast WI in my opinion. Today is 2/10. No salt, garden stuff is out already.

Picked up some paver base and other stuff for a little project. Good prices on everything.

Menards is always a quality store with a large selection of products and services at a fair price. I go there for all my plumbing needs, lumber, tools and appliances. They also have a large electronic department with clocks and repair parts. They have a Very good paint department that can mix any color you like from a wide variety of manufacturers and you can also get deck supplies like all weather stains and protection.

Husband and I always shopped here but no more since you MUST wear a mask. I’m not sick and I have no intentions of robbing the place so I’m not wearing one!!! I’ll go elsewhere.

At first I was annoyed that Menards required masks. Now that Wisconsin is open due to conservative/capitalist ideology, they are the only place I know of in my neighborhood that requires masks, thus requires us to protect each other.I just made a large purchase there. With the damn mask.Thank you!

Went to buy a dryer,on the showroom floor it was listed as in stock, when I went to purchase it I was told that it was a special order and would take 2 months to get. I ended up purchasing a more expensive one that I could get the same day. When I went to the customer pick up in the back of the store the 3 staff members were acting very immature and unprofessional.

Horrible customer service. Manager Jeff does not feel the customer is always right and would rather disappoint a good customer than compensate and give a small percentage off when there was an issue with our in-store credit certificate. Very disappointed and manager Jeff needs to learn some customer service skills.

I went there for tomatoes plant cages there was No one to help me. I took the 1 that wasnt struck to the outside register and asked if someone could get me 2 unstuck. Her reply was they must be all on break i was not able to get what i needed so i will take my business else were.

The Franklin’s customer service is Horrible! I rented a pressure washer from here. When I went to return it the line was 4 back, instead of waiting in line, I went to shop for a couple of items that I needed purchase. Once I had my items, I headed back to the customer service desk to return the pressure washer and purchase my items all at once. The line was still two back when I returned to the desk with a manager helping another employee. When the manager was done helping the employee, she turned around and left the desk without helping the next customer in line! Finally it was my turn in line, I returned the washer and asked if I could purchase my items at the customer service desk too. Nope, the cashier told me to go stand in a different line because her line was only to take rental items back. Mind you, I also had my 2 and 4 year old kids with me... Needless to say, I left without the items I needed to purchase there and walked out. I will now purchase my items on Amazon and will never spend another dollar at my local Menards store! Horrible customer service leads to big box stores closing!!

Unlike the Oak Creek location, the Franklin location is amazing! Even though it is further from my house, I would rather drive there and know I will be well taken care of. Their employees are so helpful and they will stop whatever they are doing to help you out. I have had particularly great experiences with the outside yard employees. On one particular visit, their yard employee Nick was in the middle of what looked to be a big task when he saw me and stopped to ask if I needed help. He spent almost 30 minutes with me answering all of my questions and offering his advice. The Franklin Menards is definitely my preferred home improvement destination.

Menards not only has everything for home improvement but household items and food. The only thing they do not have is butchered fresh meat but maybe in the future.... Very helpful employees know their way and always available for questions.

I commend Menards for requiring masks and for making them available for a dollar!
