EDIT2: Changed to frosted LEDs (from LED strips) and the result is perfect! Nice and soft appearance :) I’m so satisfied. It looks like a completely different diffuserEDIT: My bulbs are indeed LED like the owner response implies. I was upgrading from fluorescent to LED on this fixture. I didnt foresee this issue. It sounds like they cant resolve it as long as Im using LED. I guess Ill look into frosted LED bulbs so the light isnt as harsh on the diffuserORIGINAL: The lines in the diffuser (see pic) are super lame. (No, those aren’t shadows from the bulbs.) The cracked diffuser I was replacing with this custom order didn’t have any such lines in it and was perfectly smooth.Everything else about my experience was about as ideal as you could ask for, considering I was asking for a custom order of something that requires precise measurements—over the internet. The dimensions of the new diffuser worked out well enough (they were actually impressively close to my old diffuser), but only after I replaced the included plastic mounting hooks from the new diffuser with the metal mounting hooks from the old one (which conveniently and impressively fit on the ‘mounting hook lip’ of the new diffuser).Customer service was always pretty quick to respond (after I gave them a nudge), and they didn’t need to bother me with additional questions after I sent in my custom request. Maybe there’s a different custom diffuser company who makes smoother puff diffusers without those nasty lines in them. (BUT would a different company make your custom order as accurately and efficiently on their first go? Not sure.)

I had a lot of trouble finding the right size lens for my fluorescent fixtures. After LOTS of searching, I finally found the exact size from Fluorolite Plastics. The lenses arrived in a timely manner and were packaged very well. No problems at all, and I am very happy with the product. Thanks!

We were given a florescent light fixture through the towns Pay It Forward facebook group and it was the perfect size, shape and design for our laundry room ceiling - except that it no longer had a flat plastic diffuser panel attached to it. When I got around to researching this, I found that there are dozens if not hundreds of different flat plastic products that could fit this purpose... MAYBE. The big question is, does it fit? The get-a-quote section of Fluorolites web site almost instantly connected me with exactly the right thing, in the exact size that I specified, at the right price, which I could pick up directly from the factory - amazing! I needed a woefully obsolete diffuser and could not find one anywhere. After endless searching I cam upon this company. Browsed around and still could find a replacement. Out of desperation, I downloaded their form, filled the necessary dimensions and sent to them. Within a day or so, I received the quote in the mail. Easy. I called and told them to send it, fearing it wouldn’t be an exact fit. Boy, was I wrong. Shipping was 100% safely wrapped and arrived in 2 days. Best of all, the item was a perfect and exact fit. Great to work with. Fast ship. Retro fit lenses for my home built in 1959 dropin soffit lights. Originals were glass (that I could not find) but these acrylic look the same both day and night (lit) as the originals.
