Wait times for prescriptions can be long. Best to go mid afternoon. Store seems messy and poorly stocked. 3 day wait time to fill routine prescription. Workers are nice but store is understaffed. Can have long wait times to call. Best to use app to check on prescriptions.

Ordered routine prescription refill online. After 14 days wait time still shows in progress. I ran out of that medication and had to go to the store to talk to them since they dont answer phones anymore. Most workers are nice but store is extremely understaffed. Manager was rude. Not answering phones anymore is a big issue. Had to go over several times and stand in line just to talk to them. Their corporate office needs to fix this. They are having staff do covid testing and vaccinations but didnt hire additional staff. I dont think they treat their employees well. Called Walgreens and they answered their phones. Will try them next time.

Hands down the WORST pharmacy to fill prescriptions. What I am about to say has zero exaggeration. I have a prescription I have to call in every month, it takes 90! Minutes to get through to someone when I call. Then they don’t even input the prescription when they say they did! This is a normal happening, I have to call every month and they never fail to.. fail. It was this way before covid so that excuse doesn’t count for them. And now they secretly reduced their hours to close at 6. I literally am at work for the entire time they are open right now, that’s legitimately messed up. I’m fairly certain it’s illegal to play god with peoples lives by withholding medications (which they have done to me and are doing currently by not being open for reasonable time. Not everyone doesn’t work, 10-6 is absolutely unacceptable for a pharmacy of CVS’s size. I already made a phone call to report it. Please do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy. Not all CVS locations have such a poorly ran pharmacy.

Spent 6 1/2 hours throughout the day to try and get someone from pharmacy on hold. Its much easier to get in touch with a street pharmacist. This place is ridiculous.

Worst pharmacy in fountain hills, worst staff, worst drive thru… can’t seem to hire quality pharmacy techs.My last experience I waited 45 mins in the drive thru -when I complained about it the overweight desk attendant mocked and shouted at me. Really- how about saying sorry for the ridiculous unreasonable wait? The poor patient behind me must have waited an hour .This is the LAST time. When is CVS going to DO SOMETHING about this sh!tty pharmacy.

The lady behind register Through a fit over me not having a Mask.. Rude and would not serve me.. Will never recommend, place is dirty and smells like a dipper and probably more diseased then a street rat but they worry about a cloth over your face.. From now I shop at Walgreens down the street..

I am asthmatic and have been having issues with my oxygen levels lately, so I went into cvs without a mask because Maricopa County no longer has a mandate. Anyway, I completely understand that the CVS policy is still to put on a mask so I would have happily gone somewhere else had the situation been different. However, I walked in and staff did not say anything and since the store was not crowded I went inside and started working on the photo booth with my mom. The young brunette with long nails was at the cash register and we had an issue getting our device connected to the machine, so we asked if she could help. Instead of using any customer skills whatsoever to ask me to put on a mask, she rudely proclaimed in a teenager like tone “well no but if you mask up a little I’ll come over”. Needless to say we will not be giving them any more of our money.EDIT: just a tip, not on the topic of this specific experience. this location also has had past issues of shorting people on pills so if you do have a prescription there I would HIGHLY recommend having them count in front of you.

I came to the drive through of this CVS for a COVID-19 test, which I had an appointment for at 11:30AM. I waited behind four cars for almost thirty minutes before finally making it to the who doe, where I have remained for over an hour. I was told their system was having issues, and told that they would be able to get back to me in five minutes. About fifteen minutes later, I asked a woman how long it was going to be and if they had information regarding the time in which I would be able to get my test done. She rudely said that we had to wait a few more minutes and immediately walked away from the window. It is absolutely appalling how unhelpful the staff here are. And I find it unbelievable that they have not made any efforts to make it up to me or reschedule. As I write this review, I remain in the drive through next to the window, while they have my insurance card, hoping that someday I will finally be able to go home. Never use this pharmacy.

The pharmacy tech “Sierra” or “cierra” is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional.I’m super disappointed. I called to check the status of an urgent prescription for my son. I was on hold for over 30 min. I went in and told them what prescription and waited 10 min. I get home and they filled the wrong prescription. I called back and after being on hold was told they never got it from our doctor. I called our doctors on call team and they called me back after speaking with a pharmacy tech who confirmed they got it (within 3 minutes) It was a prescription he needed urgently to avoid going back into the hospital (he’s 4 months old) I call them back to confirm what they just told my doctor and I’m already on hold another 20. I finally speak to the tech “Sierra” who says she will put me in touch w the pharmacist. Not a minute later she picks back up and says “never mind I won’t pretend this is my fault when it’s clearly yours” and puts me back on hold for the actual pharmacist before I can say anything. Please don’t bother coming here. It’s nothing but a headache.

Same complaint as everyone else on Google reviews. Went through the Covid testing line took over an hour. I was told to stop whining when I finally just left. CVS will never see a penny of my insurance money ever again. Remember folks your insurance is YOUR MONEY. Spend it where you want.

Wow just experienced the most rude phone call I have ever been on. The lady working the pharmacy was absolutely rude and not helpful at all. I asked one question and got three reasons of why I shouldnt even be calling her. Insensitive people like that should stay off the phone, and stay out of customer service!

I have been getting Rxs filled at this CVS for at least 10 years. For the most part they do a good job. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They do seem to be chronically understaffed though, so wait times can be longer than they should be.As regards the incident noted by another reviewer, yes this location had an incident where a pharmacist refused to fill a script for a transgender patient. It was in the newspaper. To its credit, CVS immediately terminated the pharmacist in question.

Picking up a prescription was the most miserable experience I have had the misfortune to experience. Not only this, but deception appears to be the order of the day when is a discount not a discount? the answer is only known to their unfriendly staff. I will never visit a CVS store again.

I have been coming to this CVS for almost 5 yrs and have never had a single issue with either the pharmacy or the store staff. That is, until they decided to hire a very biased and extremely unprofessional pharmacy tech Mathew from what I gather was from Walgreens. 3 times he refused to fill my medication (2 different medications) which I have been getting monthly for the past 4 years from the same doctor and the same dosage (and no its not a narcotic) I have already filed a complaint with CVS as well as his own staff and co-workers have to constantly apologize for his attitude and actions and state this is a normal copmlaint. I informed my doctor and to our disbelief, he had already filed an official complaint with the state Pharmacy Board for the same tech. I will file yet a 2nd complaint and another formal complaint with the board. I thought CVS Cares apparently not as this time when he looked at my prescription he laughed and said he wasnt filling it. After I asked for the reason he said he needed to call my doctor. I said this was the same script ive been getting for 4 years he said he doesnt care hes not filling it. How many people does he have to make uncomfortable and refuse before CVS steps up and reprimands him. Will it take someone dying or suffering a complication and they face a lawsuit?

Apparently the pharmacist here was taught during the times of bloodletting and witch burnings. Hell take your prescription from you and refuse to give it back. Imagine if you needed that prescription urgently! Avoid this location for their paleolithic pharmacist.

Awful service. Pharmacist refuses to fill a prescription based on ignorance and no other employees spoke up. Maybe besides firing just the pharmacist, CVS should go ahead and clean out the entire staff at this location. Doubtful it was an isolated incident.
