Took my mower in to have the cable that engages the self propel replaced and they did an amazing job. They also properly gapped the new spark plug I had replaced without charging me so now my mower isnt missing anymore and running great. Would highly recommend.

I took my lawn mower to Home Depot in White Settlement for a tune up and minor repairs and it sat for three weeks with no indication that it was being worked on so we gave up on them and brought it to A&B. Not only did A&B get it fixed but it only took a week! They had the parts and were able to get it repaired quickly. It starts on the first pull! They earned our business and will come back from now on.Avoid Home Depot in White Settlement for repairs!

I have purchased a mower here before and bought weed eater and mower parts. I walked in looking to purchase a weed eater yesterday. I know how much good equipment or commercial equipment cost. I’m guessing the Associate didn’t think I could afford anything in there . He asked if I needed help and I said I was looking for a weed eater instead of saying we have these over here or what type I was looking for he said first thing I want to let you know is we don’t have any under 200. Dollars. So I guess I look poor to him. I will never shop here again!

Im glad I drove the 45 minutes to see these guys. Even if my mower was not worth repairing, Im glad I came here. When I picked up my mower, I was ready to simply take it, load it and be on my way. But one of them told me he would load it, then another offered to help. By the time we were at my car, a third person was out with us. He spent time telling me about my mower, why the parts are so rare and got down to the details of why it needed a $300 carburetor (and yes, that is the going rate, not a jacked up price). I will definitely be back. This place simply exudes professionalism, experience and service!

I brought my mower here when it stopped running. I was told it had a broken crankshaft and couldnt be repaired. They offered to keep it as it couldnt be repaired and told me I would just need to get a new mower. Instead I took it back home and had a friend look at it. The crankshaft was not bent and was fine. The actual problem was a dirty filter and a spark plug that needed to be fixed. It seemed like perhaps they were just trying to keep a perfectly good mower that needed a minor repair so they could resell it. Its running fine again no thanks to anyone at this establishment. Thankfully I was only charged the $40 diagnostic fee, but I felt very taken advantage of and will not be returning or recommending this business to others.

Full knowledgeable service - sales, repair, parts.Walked in for mower blade sharpening and balancing, while I waited.Just disappointing Covid mask discipline and not protecting customers - noses hang out even when face-to-face, techs walk out of back without mask.

Old school lawn mower parts place

Thank you Jimmy for the rebuild of my Stihl chainsaw. You identified the problem and explained the cause. I bought the saw new from A & B Lawn and Garden new more than six years ago. It is a high quality saw and well worth the expense of the rebuild. The cost was fair and reasonable. The issue was with the seals and carburetor damaged by ethanol fuel. I now have a workhorse of a chainsaw that starts first pull and didnt need to buy a new one. The saw has given great service in the past and now operates as well as brand new. I have confidence in this saw because all of the issues were addressed and parts were changed that will allow this saw to perform for years in the future. I am very pleased.

A&B is great! I took 2 generators with a surging problem. I had a camping trip coming up and was worried I wouldnt have them back in time since it is the busiest time of year . The owner made no promises with supplychains being so uncertain with covid these days. They knocked them out much faster than expected and in plenty of time for the trip. I took them in on Wednesday after lunch. A day or two later I received a call with the price estimate since they needed parts. Approved the repair cost over the phone and had the generators back the following Thursday! A 1 week repair ?! With ordering parts during the summer?! You cant beat that with a stick! They start first pull and run nice and smooth. Wouldnt go anywhere else for small engine needs.

Id called a few days ago to ask if the part I needed was in stock. I had all my information with me when I arrived, and got it, easy. Someone else had a vague description, and was trying to decide between 5 different but similar pieces. Have all relevant data, and the old part!

Took in 2 push mowers that were not operational and they were fixed promptly and for a very fair price. I was told the average repair cost is $120 each and 2 weeks repair time. 1 week later, I had both mowers back and only $175 to repair both total. Highly recommend them! Thanks guys.

I stopped into A & B looking to purchase a string trimmer. I was interested in two models, a residential and commercial version. Jeff was very honest stating they do not choose to stock the commercial version since its essentially the exact same as the residential version but costs $50 more. A & B is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are my new go to for all of my lawn care needs.

I brought my power washer in after it had been at Leonard’s nearly 1 month! I had called Leonard prior to bringing it to A &B and they hadnt even looked at it yet! Was told “we will get to it when we get to it.” Rudest thing Ive ever heard.Lee at A&B took it in, fixed it, and called me about 2 hours later saying “it’s ready!” Wonderful service, wonderful attitude and greatly exceeded my expectations.Word to the wise: read the reviews first, just because it is close to home, doss not mean it is the best service!

Great staff, very knowledgeable. But be prepared to wait awhile for help if theyre busy. Which is fine, but it would be nice if they at least acknowledged you when you came in so that you dont have to just stand there wondering if youll ever get helped.

They are always helpful and will tell you how to fix your weed eater. Mine needed a carburetor and air filter. It only cost me $38.00 with tax. If I left it with them they couldnt get to it for three weeks and would have cost me $160.00. They saved me $122.00 by me doing it myself.

Was quoted a 1000 dollar lawn mower repair at Lake Lawn Equipment in Granbury which took 5 weeks before they looked at it. They said the hydro-static transmission was shot and needed replaced.Went to AB last Thursday with the riding mower... was called Friday afternoon the mower was missing a little spline key at the wheel. I asked them to go ahead and completely check out the mower. We did a complete tune up, replaced the spark plug, all the filters, oil, etc., replaced a worn belt, battery, and Im picking it up today (Monday). Total Bill was under 350 dollars. This is a great store!

Bad experiences with A&B Lawn and Garden. Bought a replacement part for my stihl ms391 piston and cylinder housing tried to explain the circle lock pin broke and damaged the piston and housing. Theyve didnt want to hear it, they quick on blaming me and that Ive didnt installed the parts right. This was my fifth stihl chainsaw always recommended it. I can buy a new one again but lack of support lost my confidence.

Even willing to put the part on for me while i waited. Unfortunately, I did not have my lawn mower with me. Will be my go to for lawn and garden parts.

I took my push mower in because it was leaking gas. They said ok we will rebuild the fuel system for 120 bucks and we will call you when its ready. They called me, I walked in they charged me and brought my mower out.I looked at the receipt and it didnt say it didnt anything work done to the fuel system. I asked the guy if the leak had been fixed? he asked what leak? I thought it came in for a tune up. So I got charged 100 bucks for something I never asked for and my mower still was leaking gas. They apologized but never refunded my money. Needless to say I brought it back in a second time they replaced the gas tank charged me 50 more bucks and said ok your good to go..... My mower still leaks!!!!! So now Im down 150 dollars and my mower still has the same problem it did in the first place. Dont go here!!!!!

Way better staff and owner than Leonards. Leonards lost a high dollar customer today. 8 years going there and finally got tired of it.The owner either lied to me today or REALLY has no idea what he is talking about. AB lawn store knows what they are talking about at the front counter all the way to the service shop. After Leonards lost their top salesman Noey, things went down hill for me and many others. Leonards does have a top notch repair and service department though. Trinity and Miguel are awesome technicians.

I called 1 Jul 17 with a question regarding warranty work. My mower was smoking like I was spraying for mosquitoes. The gentleman I spoke with(I apologize for not remembering his name) stated it sounds like too much engine oil. He told me to drain the oil, take off the filter and run the mower for about 10 minutes. I did exactly what he told me and it worked. I was so happy,I mowed my yard and the neighbors yard!Thank you for your Outstanding customer service!

You would think that a lawn and garden company would be competitive in their pricing. Not so. They wanted $40 for a typical 42” deck belt that can be bought for $30 anywhere else. The only reason I stopped by was because it was on the way and I thought it would cost less. This is not the first run in I had with overpricing. I had a riding mower, some years back, “tuned up” after one year using it and it cost me $350! The mower cost $799 brand new back then! Guess I should have learned my lesson.

These guys are extraordinary. They have a smaller selection of equipment, but have exceptional customer service and knowledge of what they sell. They dont just try to sell you the most expensive thing they have, they actually take the time to listen to what your needs are for the equipment. Then they help you select the one that is right for the job and teach you everything you need to know about it. Ive been to several, several dealers and have not found anyone that is as near as helpful as these guys are. I refuse to shop anywhere else!

I have been doing business with A&B for for 20 years and never once considered cheating on them by going elsewhere.

I took in two riding mowers a while back and was quoted a price to swap the motors. When the work was done, I was handed a bill for more than double what was told to me. I original price was not a quote, but the cost of swapping the motors. The manager or acting crook told me that the guy who took in the mowers quoted the work too low. I told him it wasnt a quote, but the price we agreed on. As an end result, AB kept both mowers. After speaking with an attorney, it was going to be too costly to sue.I had used AB many times before but since their unethical business practices I have gone elsewhere.WARNING- Do not trust AB!
