Arlington Marble was hired (by a third party wholesale supplier) for our kitchen countertops and backsplash project. Arlington Marble failed to meet our expectations as a reputable business including: quality of work, customer satisfaction, accountability, willingness to resolve issues and fully complete the job hired to perform. Numerous issues were encountered during the rather contentious experience. To keep it simple, the ball was dropped more than once and our project was abandoned by Arlington Marble. During the dialogue with Arlington Marbles owner, there was no accountability for the installers’ mistakes or poor workmanship. This is absolutely not the level of service any customer should endure. Based on this experience, my wife and I will look elsewhere for future similar services. The wholesale supplier offered to pay any additional labor costs. After a month of inaction, the wholesale supplier hired another fabricator to resolve these issues.The fabricators owner did agree to (1) rework the seam, (2) re-caulk, (3) reduce size of one backsplash section to bring in line with wall edge, and (4) deliver remnants. None of these four agreed actions occurred, which demonstrates total lack of commitment and failure to act in good faith. All customers should be afforded priority and issues should be addressed expeditiously. Perhaps the visibility and constructive feedback will lead to improvements for other customers. We as consumers have a choice when selecting a fabricator…make an informed decision.Sir, you can and should do better as a business owner/professional…period. Be receptive of feedback, implement improvements, deliver on commitments, and end the practice of abandoning projects. You are misinformed and/or simply not being truthful in the response dated 24 July 2021. Demonstrated integrity is a true measure of character. The wholesale supplier, as the prime contractor, is fully aware of all concerns and addressed them as expected by a professional organization, including hiring another fabricator to resolve Arlington Marble’s shortcomings on this project. In addition, I presume your apology regarding the sink discussion was not sincere.Allow me to share a few facts: your staff recommended three slabs based on layout created by Arlington Marble. Per invoice three (3) slabs were purchased on 5 March 2021. The caulking gaps are throughout backsplash edges on wall and countertop interfaces, not just the single location you have conveniently identified in your response. As the paying customer, I readily exchanged phone calls and other communications, which email thoroughly documents including visiting Arlington Marble’s shop to finalize layout. I appreciate the efforts by the wholesale supplier to resolve these concerns despite Arlington Marble’s reluctance to follow through with agreed actions, remedy issues, and acknowledge mishaps/poor workmanship.

Arlington Marble did an exceptional remodel on our home. We had the kitchen countertops replaced as well as all the bath vanities. Everything looks great, they recommended Johnson Remodeling to handle the plumbing needs and he did a great job also. All the employees are polite and did great work, highly recommend!!!!

New owners as of 2018, Philip Shoults and his wife are family members of the founders of this large fabrication shop. They do a lot of business with multiple teams fabricating and installing, and their shop is huge with easy parking. The pricing was very competitive and affordable, and they also offer complete remodeling services through their building division. Mr. Shoults communication was prompt and thorough, and he provided an excellent installation of beautiful Black Pearl granite, a material he keeps in stock, for our master bathroom vanity which he completed in about one weeks turnaround time. My only caution would be that we are glad we insisted our installation team drill the double faucet and sink holes outdoors on site, as they appeared to have brought no supplies to contain the plumes of dust created during this process, and their shop vac itself emitted dust while cleaning up the debris on the sidewalk. Perhaps other teams do have containment procedures and filtered vacuuming for indoor drilling, and hopefully Mr. Shoults will be addressing this issue as his shop expands, but this was our personal experience in October 2019. Thanks for the work, and we are enjoying this countertop daily!

Arlington Marble has been in business for something like 30 years. They are a family owned and operated business that has stood the test of time while other companies have closed up shop and moved onto other things. My first house had a marble tub and vanities put in by Arlington Marble and they were beautiful and professionally installed. A few months after moving in, they even came back out and installed a new shelf in my shower for next to nothing. That was almost 10 years ago. My second house had their granite installed in both the kitchen and laundry rooms, and that was 5 years ago. They are still here. A company like this doesnt stay in business if they dont have a plethora of satisfied repeat customers. Professionalism is a must for me, and they lived up to my hopes and expectations.
