First, I do NOT like getting new glasses due to bad experiences, but it did change at this Visionworks location with Areli C! She was patient, fun, double checked the measurements, and took the time to explain some newer options I was unaware of or had the incorrect information. She was honest about which frame looked the best---I know because Ive gotten a lot of compliments from strangers! All of this and never once did she make me feel rushed or pressured. I had really wanted ActiveX but thought it was not available with my insurance. She even knew it was, but confirmed it was available! Upon my return they changed out the nose pads and the glasses stopped sliding on my nose. Of course at no charge. Some tweaking with new glasses was to be expected. She and everyone I encountered there were awesome. She has a great sense of humor too! I couldnt be happier with the service provided there.

Easy to schedule an appointment. Customer service was great. Good selection and easy to pick a frame and order what you need. They verified insurance quickly and was able to walk out within 30 minutes from beginning to end. Made purchasing glasses and contacts very easy and convenient.

I love the selection at Visionworks and was able to find a pair of frames that I love and were in my budget, so I wanted to give that positive aspect first!There were a couple of issues I had with my experience getting my frames and lenses here, however. First, I got my prescription from a private doctor so my pupillary distance was measured at Visionworks and not my doctors office since I decided not to get frames from them. While I love my doctor, their office didnt have as large of a selection as a retail store like Visionworks has for frames and were a bit more costly, despite having a healthy budget from my insurance plan. My PD (pupillary distance) was measured manually without the machine that is typically used to measure this VITAL aspect of lenses. It was also measured in a socially-distanced manner, which really DOES NOT work to get proper and accurate PD measurements. I did think it was strange that this machine wasnt used since I had gone through that experience many times while filling my prescription before. However, I assumed the employee I was working with knew what she was doing. So when I had gotten my glasses, I could definitely tell something was off but assumed that I needed to adjust to the new prescription since there is always a bit of an adjustment period. After a couple days, I really wasnt feeling any relief but I didnt quite know what the issue was and at what place in the process something had gone wrong. So I called my doctor and they measured the lenses to see how they were comparing to my previous lenses. Turns out, the actual prescription itself was slightly off from what my prescription should have been and the pupillary distance was measured in such a way that typically only works for people with a lazy eye or have other issues along those lines. Needless to say, I was definitely disappointed in how Visionworks handled my eye health. When I asked about why they werent using the machine accurately measure the PD, I was told that it was due to socially-distancing policies and that the doctor next door is taking that measurement for their patients so that the sales people dont have to deal with that. What bothered me was that I was never told that I could have that measurement taken by my doctor! Otherwise, I absolutely would have gone back to my doctor and had them take that measurement for me so that I could have glasses that were correct for me the first time around.My other issue is that they are not allowing customers to see their entire face while trying on glasses. Now, I completely understand where this is coming from and would have accepted it had I not been to TWO other frames stores and seen them allowing customers to try on frames in a safe way! Visionworks is not allowing customers to move their masks down from their nose for ANY amount of time at all to be able to actually see how the frames look on their face. Again, I wouldnt be making such a big deal about this aspect had I not seen Walmart and my private doctor allowing this in SAFE ways. Walmart is not allowing outside guests (besides the person trying on frames) inside their glasses center, which allows for minimal contact. My private doctor is having employees socially distance themselves from customers as they bring their masks down from their nose to get a peek of how the frames look and then they (you guessed it) put their masks back over their noses. It was to the point that I actually had someone come up to me from ACROSS the room just to tell me to keep my mask on AT ALL TIMES.Visionworks does have a 100-day policy where they allow you to request remakes of lenses if there are any issues, which they did and I now have my new lenses that have the PD measured by my doctor and are great!PSA: if youre in the same boat I was, you are able to use your insurance to purchase FRAMES ONLY and have your doctor fill the lens prescription if you prefer that. I wish I had known that so that I could have avoided this mess!

Visionworks has excellent selection and service. Again we worked with Katy O. for awesome service. She was able to help my son and I find the best glasses for us and explained our benefits and what we were able to get. She goes above and beyond to assist us. Id highly recommend this location and working with Katy.

I AM EDITING THIS REVIEW. After initial review owner commented send your info and we will address. After 3 weeks, no response!!!Again, DO NOT PURCHASE GLASSES HERE.DO NOT BUY GLASSES HERE. They use the extremely poor quality lenses and charge you hundreds $$$ for them.My wifes lenses started peeling off the anti reflection material in 2 years.... I spoke to manager who offered ZERO help. Offered ZERO options to fix/replace/repair at discount.... nothing. He said it was because she cleaned them with improper materials... she ONLY cleaned them with microfiber provided or specific glasses cleaning wipes...I expect glasses to last 5-7 years!Extremely poor quality materials used at the location. I recommend you go elsewhere.

Fast and friendly, I needed new prescription glasses for my father and I didnt have to wait, they were ready the next day. They explain in detail and with great patience the different options, they didnt push the most expencive product because my father didnt need it, and I also got a discount.

So I called to see if this place would verify my 18 yr old sons benefits to see if they took the insurance provided by his father. They were not too helpful. I was hoping they would pick up the phone and make a simple call but I was told my son has to be in the store before they would do that. The problem is he works the same hours they are open even on the weekend. He is has to be at work to keep his job...he only misses for school activities. So he really cant take off just to come up there to find out they dont take the ins. We need to know that ahead of time. ....but they would not help or lift a finger. Needless to say we wont wast our time. I have been going there yearly for a long time....i wont be wasting my time either. I am moving myself to Target. We will see where my son will end up. I was shocked at the POOR customer service.

The staff here are just incredibly helpful and patient. You couldn’t ask for much more. Both times I’ve been in to buy frames, it’s been difficult for me to find frames that are just the right shape and measurements (I’m asian, so the bridge of my nose is too tiny for most of the men’s glasses...)It took a significant amount of time and a lot of searching, but with the help of the lovely folks behind the counter, we were able to locate a pair that had the correct nose width that wasn’t also too tiny for my head.My only complaint is that I wish the staff were all equally skilled at adjusting frames. My first ever pair of glasses here wasn’t adjusted all that well and kept falling off, even after spending a good, long while getting them adjusted to fit.I brought them back in recently and had the arms and nose wings adjusted by a different staff member than the first time; now I can just leave them on my face and I’m not adjusting them every 10 minutes to be able to see.I’m really happy with the results the second time around and don’t hold my initial experience against the staff or the store.

Dr Attri is great. She made the whole process painless. She even convinced me to try contacts. I was afraid of putting them in my eyes. I was given great training. After about 45 minutes of working with me to get them in. I left the office wearing contacts and now I fdont have to buy a pair of prescription sunglasses.

Horrible Horrible Horrible! Advance eye care has been the worst eye place I’ve ever been to. Very unorganized and uneducated about Davis Vision insurance. I paid $85.00 for a trial pair of contact lenses that I could not even see out of. I do not recommend people to use this eye place EVER!

Just left this place. Stood around with my boyfriend for about 20 mins. No one greeted us. No one told us they’d be right with us. I understand that they were all busy, but the fact that they didn’t even acknowledge us was annoying.

Lets start off by saying vision works was a ok experience. My issue is with the doctor they set me up with for the eye exam.The office was unorganized,the place is a joke. I may use vision work again but never there doctor.

Whoevers cutting the lenses there is doing a very poor job. My glasses prescription was off so much it gave me headaches compared to what my actual prescription was.

Scheduled an appointment at 4:00pm and waited a literal hour and a half before I had to leave to meet my family for dinner at 6:30. Staff kept telling me another 5 mins every time I asked. They were letting people who weren’t scheduled go ahead of my appointment. Very frustrating and and unprofessional experience.
