This is a great, but very expensive steak restaurant. The food and services were excellent. The waitress and waiter were friendly and professional.The A5 Wagyu beef was cooked precisely onside of the dinner table. It was very tender and delicious. We enjoyed our time, food and dining experience this evening.

The service was top notch. The hostess was friendly, our wait staff was great and the manager who checked on us was very friendly. The decor is nice and having large windows to the street makes the space bright open. This is a nice change from the typical high end steakhouse dark and no window vibe. We had the North American Wagyu Ribeye. It was not a thick cut but more of a medium cut with more surface area and flavor. It was fantastic. We both wanted different steak toppers and they brought them out on the side since we were splitting the steak. I had a blue cheese topping and my wife had the Oscar topping which more crab meat than a large crab cake. We had the bacon mac and cheese for the side and we werent as excited about that as the steak. The bacon really didnt add much flavor and we didnt like whatever type of cheese they used in the dish. We will return and try a different side but I am sure we will get the Wagyu ribeye again.

I went in in a week night just a random treat yourself evening and was impressed with the tentative and polite staff. The Atmosphere is great rather quiet i believe there were 4 tables being served in the area and far enough to where conversations werent over lapping.I went in for the dry aged wagyu ribeye and it did not disappoint easily the 2nd best steak Ive ever had and dont let that be a deterrent because my #1 is hard to top. It was cooked to a text book perfect medium as I requestedThe meatballs were recommended from the appetizers I had in mind and again was throughly impressedThe baked potato was ok at best left me wondering about its price tag.The bread that was offered was tough to say the least.And Im sure it was for dinner ambience/mood reasons but it was overly dim in there I had trouble making out some menu items and a table in my sight had to use their phone flash light to see the menu..Aside from the very few cons I actually enjoyed my meal and look forward to try more of their menu

Guadalupe was an amazing server and took care of me as I enjoyed a solo date. Sat outside enjoying the nice weather and ate some really delicious food. That butter cake (a recommendation from Guadalupe) was decadent & so g-o-o-d.

My husband and I love B&B for special occasions. We went again last night for our anniversary dinner and had the best meal. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful, our food was delicious. We highly recommend the beef wellington, the butchers butter and the crab stuffed lobster. The butter and bread is heavenly! The waiter had a delicious mocktini made for me since I am pregnant. Highly recommend for a nice night out.

Went to this restaurant and sat on the bar. Great service, great wine and absolutely amazing skirt steak! Skirt steak had a topper of chimichurri which was amazing! Recommend you to try it.

You will spend at least $20 on your meal, but the food is outstanding. I recommend the butcher shop located right next to the restaurant. They have tasty sandwiches and a good selection of foods you take take home and prepare yourself. The lady who took care of our order was wonderful.

Such a wonderful experience for my husbands birthday. Our waitor Chris was so attentive and on time with everything. The food was delicious. The crab cake was our favorite! The moscato was one of the smoothest Ive had. The whipped ricotta was so delicious, so were all the sides, and the dessert was to die for!HOWEVER, I was truly disappointed when my beef wellington came back completely raw, AND ICE COLD. It took everything out of me not to spit it out right. They took it back and brought it back mins later, unfortunately I couldn’t get past what I had experienced.The service was outstanding.

Tried the Beef Wellington based on word of mouth, the experience was adequate. The meat was hot but not juicy or flavorful. The outer baked portion not quite done, almost a gummy quality. Did not send back, but will most likely just hang on the patio, get snacks and people watch in the future. Yawnworthy...but did not hate it!

The burger was cooked perfectly and the condiments were fresh and led to a well rounded and delicious burger. The Wedge fries were okay, I would likely go for another side next time. Drinks and table bread were all great, Ill definitely be back.

This review is from our visit on Saturday July 31st. We arrived right at 12:00 noon, but we really were in the mood for brunch. She got the Butchers Benedict and I ordered the B&B Hash. Both were hot, fresh, and just fantastic. In fact, it was more than I could finish. It was another great experience for us at B&B, and we enjoyed everything. Great food, great service. Thanks for being one of the better brunch choices in Fort Worth!

Everything on the menu is great. Management and staff are fun, knowledgeable and friendly. Nice wine and liquor selection. You can eat at the bar or in the dining room. One of the best places in Fort Worth!

My parents and I both live in Dallas county, but my brother lives in Fort Worth. We normally eat at Ruth Chris, Mortons or Nick & Sams, but my bro started complaining about the drive he has to take to eat there, especially since he has to be up at 4am, so we needed to find a fine steak house in Fort Worth on weekdays. We found it. This place is amazing and all of us were impressed with not only their interesting menu, but the taste of all the dishes they serve. We are now life long patrons and so happy to have found our new to go spot for family celebrations. FYI, get the bacon 3ways, and the butchers butter.....fantastic.

My husband and I love B&B. We have come frequently over the last couple years, and the food is always impeccable. My only complaint is the front desk hostess (older woman in her 50’s) is always so crass, and unkind. Her lack of professionalism is truly the only reason I’ve given a three star rating. Otherwise, service and food have always been 5 star! Please get rid of her.

The Apple Crisp Waffle is absolutely as great as it sounds. Their French Dip is really good as well as the burger with bacon and pepper jack. Just remember youll want to end every meal with some Berries and Butter Cake 🎂 Yeah, youre welcome.

I usually don’t write reviews…but feel I need to after our experience at BB today. My wife and I were looking forward to our first experience at Butcher Block, as the location and room looked great. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and we left very disappointed and not very satisfied on all levels. Food tasted like it was all previously frozen, from the cheap meats to the rest of ingredients. On a positive note the cocktails are delicious.!! Once the bill came I was even more frustrated. Please keep in mind we don’t mind paying premium prices for premium food. And BB markets themselves to the same level of price and quality as Perry’s or Trulucks. Never again, should of read the google reviews.

Absolutely love B & B Butchers & Restaurant! Their food never disappoints and I love how they get involved in the community and cater events. The food is delicious and the staff is always courteous, professional, and friendly. It’s so nice having them across from my office, and even nicer running into friends almost every time I come here. Would highly recommend to all.

We walked in 50 minutes before closing time on a Monday night. The hostess at the front was very unwelcoming, letting us know clearly that the kitchen closes in “2 min” and that we will have to order our food “in a couple of minutes”. Poor hospitality and a very unwelcoming experience, and we simply left. They should have just shut the doors early rather than obviously discouraging people from coming in when it’s 50 minutes before closing time. Definitely don’t plan on coming back here

Very expensive menu but to say the food is exquisite would be an understatement. Steaks range from ~$50 to $250 each. The sides are $10 to $16 but comfortably enough for 2 people. The service here is beyond excellent, they have a great bartender, and the wine selection is quite good. For a party of 5, you can easily spend $1000 at one sitting- but food and service of this caliber demand a premium.

This place is top notch! Started off with the thick sliced bacon appetizer. AMAZING. My wife tried the Salmon and I had the Filet Medallions, both of which were great! Sides were not only tasty, but also family style and easy to share. We found out that their cheesecake is flown in from New York EVERY WEEK, so we had to try it! Did not disappoint, best cheesecake I’ve had in my life. So rich and creamy, I would go back just for dessert and some of their French press coffee! Thanks for a great evening B&B!

From the first entrance the staff was very responsive to our group. We were greeted by every staff member that happen to be around on our way to the table. Very tempting menu. Everything sounded amazing. Settled on the brisket ravioli and Tommys bacon for starters. For the main lunch item I tried the butcher burger. Everything was top notch. Finished out with the carrot cake for dessert. The whipped cream cheese icing was to die for. Highly recommend this place.

What an amazing brunch; we came in planning to try the restaurant week menu, but there were so many other great options we ended up picking from the main menu. My chicken and waffles were tasty and my husband’s steak and eggs were delicious!

This review is for the butcher and sandwich shop which is completely separate from the restaurant. The sandwich shop is behind the restaurant and has its own dedicated doorway and menu. There is no waiters or waitresses. Simply order at the register and they make sandwiches to eat inside or as take out. They have reubens, roast beef, chicken salad, egg salad and lots of fresh prepared sides. I highly recommend it, however the sandwiches are not cheap. Anywhere from $10 to $16 before sides and a drink. The quality is top notch, but it should be based on the prices. I will go back for sure, but I cant afford to eat there daily!

Attention bacon lovers - run, dont walk! Order the bacon app which has 3 different bacon selections. This is a must. I had the The B&B Steak House Salad which was essentially two filets with blue cheese, onion jam, dressing and tomato stacked like a burger - yum - but I would have loved to have some more greens and/or bread to help soak up all the saucy goodness on the plate.

If you like steak, this is the place to go. If you like seafood this is still a top place to go. Actually, if you like food this is the place to go! i recommend the Wagyu Filet with the truffle butter. Take my word for it you wont be disappointed.Update:The brunch/lunch here is also amazing, and quite amazing. Also, it’s much more affordable than dinner entrees. Today Aaron did a great job and I let him know the French dip was the best I ever had.

We had dinner here last night, very disappointing. I had the rib eye since it was highly recommended. It was overly cooked, overly salted, about half was inedible. This place is not even in the same league as Ruth Chris, Del Friscos or Lonesome Dove. The service was mediocre at best.

Ms.Lupe made my first visit unforgettable. I had the a5 wagyu sandwich with the b&b Mac and cheese with crab. My date had their version of an Long Island ice tea the 19th hole with the 40oz steak rare. The fries were fried slices of potatoes and the bacon with blue cheese and honey truffle butter was absolutely delectable. The manager was so kind and attentive as the drinks were strong. The women’s restroom smelled so fresh and scented I’m noting it now. The staff was so pleasant I felt apologetic being escorted to the restroom. I have no down side to my first visit... even the location is perfection. The staff was kind enough to allow us to try a dessert which was a cake with berries which was adorned with gelato that was perfect. I also had a “French” alcohol beverage which I’m unable to remember but preferred the 19th hole. We were even able to sample some of their bread and butter thanks to Ms. Lupe and her amazing Manager.

My husband and I showed up with a reservation and talked with the unwelcoming host + male manager which stated he did not have a reservation under my husband’s name. We told him we had called earlier and made one. He was not willing to give us the time of day. We were being very polite and even showed him the call history and he was extremely rude and said they couldnt seat the both of us. He asked “do you know who you talked to?” Well no, the rude gal who answered the phone didn’t give us a name. The restaurant wasnt even near full capacity so that was frustrating. He asked if we wanted to sit at the bar and we told him we were celebrating our anniversary and preferred not to. He could care less. So we ended up eating at the bar where it was not pleasant. The only thing we really enjoyed was the wine, oysters, créeme brûlée, and ribeye which was cooked to perfection! The calamari and bacon/blue cheese app (don’t recall the name) were mediocre at its finest. BUT compared to numerous mid-high end seafood/steakhouse that we’ve been to they do make a mean ribeye. That’s the only reason they are getting 1 star. Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We were looking to have a nice, relaxing, anniversary. Your manager+employees who are front and center lack customer service skills and need proper training. Unfortunately they play an intricate role in the success of your restaurant. We won’t be back nor would we ever recommend this restaurant.

Found this on a news link about having Easter dinner meals. I order their mini wellington and mini crab cakes as appetizers. For what I paid I was highly disappointed! They should be called micro mini and not to mention steak tasted as if wrapped in cheap Pillsbury crescent roll dough. I guess you are paying more for the name then for good food! Have to say will not be ordering again from them

Great experience and Excellent Food. We shared the Carpet Bagger on the half shell. Main course most of us had Wagyu Filet which were done excellently - If you order anything but Medium Rare - just dont bother - why ruin a steak. One of us had the Beef Wellington which I was told was excellent. Also was a gigantic bone in Rib eye - but no bone was found - still a great steak - and monsterous amounts of meat. Sides of mushrooms , brussel sprouts, Corn Souffle. All was excellent. Perfect bottle of Cade - Cabernet Sauvignon. We would all highly recommend, I would give this a 5 star - but for the really really expensive price - it did not get there for the service level I would have expected. Everyone did a good job and was friendly - nothing really bad to say, but for a bill that was over $100 per person - not including the wine. I would have expected exceptional not just good service. These prices warrant personalized perfection - that did not happen. Would go back - but will hope for more

We have been in the past and had our expectations exceeded, but our most recent visit was not good. We had reservations and waited at the bar after checking in. No one ever came and got us even though the dining room was mostly empty. Once seated the service was not great, no specials were described, no wine list,. To top it off my wagyu ribeye was terrible, the manager comped it, but disappointing for a restaurant of this price.

We had valentines day meal here and it was okay. They brought out our neighbors meal before ours and then came to apologize for taking so long. They said they had to redo my fish. We felt it wasnt worth how pricey it is, and offered nothing for messing up, especially for a holiday meal. But, the atmosphere and service was good. The mac n cheese lobster tasted powdery. I do love that it was real butter with the bread and the bacon wrapped shrimp was excellent. We may come back, but the error on a holiday kinda put a downer on the whole evening.

Bartenders were awesome. Made us drinks off the menue. Food was good except for the lamb chops. Too much hard gristle. Wouldnt order them again. We will be back however.

Possibly the worse service experienced from a restaurant that classifies as “high-end”. We were a table of 6 and for every trip to our table, they served 5, excluding one of our members. They messed up on our bills and even tried to get over on us with one of the bills (double charging) and hoping we didn’t notice. Long wait times for serving and for the price to be as high as it is, the food could have been better. Would not recommend.

Had the 55 day aged rib eye steak with truffle butter. This place is not the cheapest place you can get a great steak from, but you will get a great steak. Atmosphere is lovely and staff attentive. Really enjoyed our meal and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine dining and attention to detail.

So, this is a mixed bag. The restaurant itself is very nice. Architecture fits the neighborhood with a lot of brick and glass and modern ranch style appointments. We found the table spacing and ambient noise level to be completely acceptable as we were able to converse in normal voices without overhearing other conversations. We were seated immediately and the service was beyond reproach. Kylie had menus and water immediately and also cleared the wine glasses when we told her we didnt drink. Derrick was right behind her with recommendations and answers. Throughout the meal, Kylie and Derrick were attentive, asking if we were satisfied, but without hovering. The meal pacing was on point, allowing enough time to finish and savor one course before the next arrived. At no time did we feel rushed. And, even though we dont drink we could appreciate the impressive glass wine room and well stocked bar. Also, patio dining is available. High marks... so far.The food was a different story. For appetizers I ordered the Sizzling Thick Cut Bacon and my wife ordered the B&B Meatballs. The bacon, about 3/8 thick, while tasty, smoky, and well cooked, was not sizzling; in fact, it was barely above room temperature. The three meatballs were quite large (slightly smaller than a baseball) but were unremarkable. They tasted like meatloaf and I can make better in my own kitchen. For entrees my wife ordered the Bacon Wrapped Crab Stuffed Shrimp and I ordered the Chicken Fried Pork Chop with Bacon Confit, Sauerkraut, and Pineapple Glaze. My wife cant eat rice, which came with the shrimp so Derrick offered a substitute of her choice, which was the Sauteed Mushrooms in Balsamic. No complaints with her entree! Every flavor of the bacon, crab, and shrimp came shining through in delightful smokiness! The mushrooms were well cooked and the balsamic flavor was perfect. 5 stars on that plate! However, the only interesting thing on my plate was the sauerkraut. The breading on the pork chop was soggy, probably due to sitting in the sauerkraut juice, and it lacked any real flavor. The onion straw topping was completely uninspired and the bacon confit was room temperature and rubbery except for a tasty, crunchy bark on top. The sauerkraut, however, was divine! Sweet and briny, crunchy and well cooked, I sought out every morsel. Dessert for my wife was cheesecake, carrot cake for me. The cheesecake is a generous slice and, according to Derrick, made in the NY Bronx and flown in. I didnt taste it, but my wife said it was okay. The carrot cake (my all time favorite dessert; Ill always order it when its on the menu) was fine; nothing to get overly excited about but no real complaints. Ive had much worse, but Ive also had better.The meals were about $80 each and, for that price, we expect more than okay, thus the 3 star rating. So, we probably wont return. There is an attached butcher shop where one can buy their own meats but it was closed by the time we arrived. Theyre also open for lunch and private parties and provide catering.

This is for the sandwich side (different hours - see photo) which uses the same meats for gorgeous sandwiches. Yes, they are expensive, but you are paying for very high quality so they are actually an exceptional value. Super nice counter service and very clean kitchen, dining area and restrooms.

We ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We had the carpet bagger appetizer that was life changing. It was so delicious! I had the crab stuffed lobster and my husband had the beef Wellington. The lobster was good, nothing to rave about but the beef Wellington was superb! It was delicious and perfect. Seriously melted on the tongue. We paired it with the asparagus and lobster bacon Mac & cheese. The asparagus was grilled asparagus. Not life changing but still good. The lobster bacon Mac & cheese was delicious! We finished with the berry butter cake. My husband, who doesn’t like sweets, really enjoyed it! Overall a 5/5 experience and the food was great. We are excited to return!

Went here to celebrate my sons birthday and high school graduation. He specifically wanted the japanese a5 wagyu steak. Overall we did not like the food here. Pretty overpriced and bland.Pros: Bread and butter is amazing. Creme brulee was really good. The staff was overall pretty good minus forgetting a few items.Cons: They didnt bring a few items we ordered, the steaks were bland and mostly fatty, the Mac n cheese is absolutely the worst Ive ever had and I consider myself a connoisseur of both steak and Mac n cheese.We had 6 people and paid $834. Definitely will never be back. Do not waste your money. Texas Roadhouse has better steaks and food for an eighth of the cost.

Great Food and Atmosphere! Steaks equal to any other steaks I’ve had in Fort Worth. Among the best sides as well. Having both at the same place is rare. Attention to detail shows in this restaurant. The creamed spinach was almost as good as my Louisiana grandmothers and that’s good! Will be one of our goto places for a great steaks! Not your everyday prices but well worth the $.

Easter dinner was a disappointment... as a Houston native we love B&B. Our waiter was clearly annoyed we even sat down for dinner. A little upsetting since we love going in H-town. They need better waiters with better attitudes.

Server Carlos was uvatintive, our steak came out over cooked. We never saw our server after the food hit the table, even thought we still had order to put in. Never even got our waters refilled.Person who eventually gave us our check was also rude. Extreamly bad service.Server also spilled water on my dates beef wellington the time I went before. (Though we brushed it off as human error)Service is TRASH if youre not the right looking demographic. I say this after going a few times and experiencing it.I

Holy cow what a find. The wife and I did brunch there Sunday and it was amazing. There is nothing I can say negative about this restaurant except they refuse to let me live there. Food - amazing. Service - amazing. Menu - amazing. Bar and wine selections - top notch.If you leave B and B Butchers hungry or disappointed, thats on you. Wife and I will be returning. We may live 120 miles away, but its worth the drive.

Good service, but was a bit slow on Friday afternoon. Food is just mediocre. I’ve had much better burgers and salmon elsewhere for a lot cheaper.

I ordered the Wednesday prime rib curbside pick up package yesterday. It was the best meal Ive had in months. Perfection!!! Great food and service! We sat at the bar we ordered 3 appetizers 1 entree and 2 sides. We are already making plans for another visit to B&B to sample the beef Wellington and the steak a la berg.
