The technician was thorough and very knowledgeable. Despite being almost 100 degrees outside he was determined to get the job done. I appreciate the fact he was willing to do the job “right” and wasn’t looking for shortcuts or excuses as to why it’s not working. Overall very satisfied with this particular technician. Best security company Ive ever worked with. I have had them now for a few months. The install was perfect. Our technician was helpful and worked to make sure that our installation and services met our needs without upselling us on stuff we didnt need. Then, Ive had a few technical questions with different devices along the way. Every time I call they are responsive and help me keep my system functioning at a high level and even stayed on the phone with me for 45 minutes while we tried to get a new device connected to our hub. Above and beyond in the realm of customer service and their monitoring is second to none. I would recommend to all of my friends.

So far so good. Ive had the system for a day and the install went well. Dustin did a great job walking through the process and recommendations. Really couldnt have been nicer, tried to buy him. Helped me and my wife understand the system and how to use it and the app. I did check different security companies, Smith Thompson was comparable in price and service. Vivint was literally twice the cost and the other do it yourself systems I honestly didnt want to deal with. So far so good...

Installed new smart panel, glass break sensors, motion sensors and added my existing sensors into the new system. Just got my barbershop/salon security system done today by DFW Security. The tech name Larry was very respectful throughout the service, even wearing his mask the entire install. We just purchased a new home and our realtor referred us to DFW Security. She swapped from a competitor and was absolutely impressed with DFW. Now that we have had our security system installed, I could not agree more! The quality of the equipment and video feed are top notch and cover the entire area of the home we requested. From the customer service department (namely, Ms. Lindsey Wood) to the install professional (Mr. Larry), the customer service was completely outstanding! Very bad services! We just started a new service a few months ago and the security pad broke. DFW security told me that they only offered 3 month warranty when manufacture covers 12 months. In order to fix this new system, we had to pay $95 trip charge and a new battery; otherwise, signed up $10 protection plan and paid for the next 34 months. It is crazy. Extremely lousy customer services. I will never use this company or renew any contract with them. And, I will recommend all my family members and friends not to use them EVER.

The technician was able to come out earlier than scheduled and he called to make sure it was ok before showing up. I appreciate that alot, because Ive had some negative experiences with these type of situations with some other companies. He also gave an eta and was very professional when he arrived and while installing my cameras. He even took the time to reinstall my doorbell camera because I wanted a better angle. The tech was very knowledgeable and didnt take long at all to complete the job. I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend the tech assigned to me and DFW Security. I apologize for not remembering the techs name, but Im bad with names.

They tried to bate and switch me for installation of service so that they could upgrade me to another plan after I explained my needs clearly over the phone with their Sales team. They wasted my time after I blocked out my Saturday to get the service stood up.

Larry came in to connect my garage and he did a wonderful job. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I ask about my panel because it was not connected to the internet, he told me that he could do that while he was here and he did. Once he finished he noticed that I didn’t have glass break protection in my house. He explained to me what glass break was and the benefits of it. He installed those for me. He was very patient and explained everything, tested everything to me. Larry is a genuine person that cares about people and their safety. Thank you Larry for all you did today. Fantastic install. Michael spent a great deal of time making sure the camera install was perfect and then did a great job of walking my wife and I throughly the system and how to arm/disarm and set up geofences with the cameras.

They will get you in a contract and then they will sell your contract to a different company. I was a proud DFW Security customer who now is under contract with Brinks. Even though - I’ve never talked to Brinks a day in my life before today.Incredibly disappointed.Don’t listen to the radio advertisers who will tell you “I wanted a company that was local,” because DFW security might be local - but they’ll sell you to another company right under your nose. You’ll have an issue with your system and you’ll call DFW Security and they won’t have your account because they sold it to Select Security who will sell you to Brink, and of course none of your equipment works because Brinks doesn’t even know who you are when you end up calling them after realizing DFW SECURITY ISN’T the local loyal company you thought they were.Just skip this company and sign up with the larger company that will have call centers in other countries because DFW security is going to sell your contract to them anyway.Thanks for nothing DFW Security.Come get your sign out of my yard.

I have had DFW Security for some time now. Their technical support, though rarely needed, has been awesome! I have had contracts with the larger conglomerates. However, my experience with DFW feels more like a relationship of care and not just business. Reggie was an absolute delight - kind, patient, thorough, even-tempered, and competent. His follow-through was excellent and timely. I highly recommend DFW Security.

Just had our system installed today, wow, totally impressed with their customer service quality. Big time TLC. Our installer was Michael. Later in the day the supervisor came by to check on things. They got everything in, cameras, quite a bit of new wiring, lots of peripherals, etc. The he took a good amount of time training me. I’m very happy with the results and highly recommend them. PS - the home automation is really great!

My grandmother does not own a home right now, nor has she owned a home in over two years. This company took her money by not allowing her to cancel when she sold her home over 2 years ago. Thus, as a result, at $32 a month, she is out well over $700. I hate that this company willingly and knowingly takes advantage of the elderly. She nor I will be recommending this service to any of our peers and will advise them to not sign with this company for its services.

BEWARE!!!!!!I just got off the phone with one of the customer service reps with DFW security. Glad I read all the one star google reviews while I was on hold. All I need is my system monitored for my security and fire. I was very shocked by the fees that were racking up to get my system monitored.$199 dollars for a new sim card for my cellular data link since i dont have a hard line to my house. The other massive Ripoff was a $499.00 fee to do a flow test on my fire sprinkler system which takes about one minute to perform (No tools required). I hope this review helps anyone not make a mistake with this company. Im getting sick and tired of companies taking advantage of people with their ridiculous add on fees.
