My screen was cracked in the corner and this kept me from being able to trade the phone in for an upgrade. Thankfully, the Verizon rep recommended Genius Repair, and I’m glad they did.Super friendly. I don’t break electronics often, but if I need anything fixed, I’m coming here. Thank you guys very much for such quick, effective service.

I had a good experience getting a new tempered glass screen protector installed. $40 for the glass and installation... Thats cheap considering how much these devices cost now.He came out to the little work area and did it right in front of me.. Which was nice because, like most people, Im wary of anyone else having possession of my phone for any reason other than to hand it to me.Worked out well, thank you!S I had to edit this because Im more than a little upset with this protector they sold me a couple weeks ago.Ive used my S20+ for over a year with just the factory scratch protector on it; I never had any problems... I replaced it just because it (the protector) got beat up and my screen didnt look as smooth.Before I got this tempered glass protector, my screen took a few good hits, including:Dropping it flat on its face on the patio, it hit hard enough there were a couple little pieces of cement stuck in the scratch protector. Screen was fine.A steel throwing knife managing to bounce back from a wooden target, hit my phones face, and knock it on the ground.... Little mark on the screen protector, thats it.Today Im putting my phone in my dashboard holder, drop it 12 inches onto my plastic center console.(it does have a case with rubber corner bumpers) .. And this new protector shatters at the corner. The cracks have crept across the screen throughout the day.I didnt say anything before about this place not having a fairly common screen protector in stock... I waited 4 days and had to return to get it put on... But now I feel like I wasted 40 bucks and these cracks (I THINK they are just on the screen protector) make it look worse than my ancient factory screen protector did.Im not certain from where they get their screen protectors... But they arent very durable and Im stuck shopping and paying for another one.Im almost afraid to take this thing off and see that it couldnt protect my actual screen from such a minimal impact.

Worst service I have ever received. I brought a good working iPad mini in to fix phone jack and came out almost 4 months later not working at all. It powers up and WiFi connection connects and disconnects frequently. I had to check it in numerous times and finally they give it back and says that it was t their fault. My iPad mini had no problems except for headphone jack problem and now came out not working at all. It’s basically a paper weight now. I got ripped off. Do not take your electronics to them. They say they checked it out and everything works and every time I went down to get it it didn’t work so we had to check it back in. It really is bad service and the higher ups don’t care and will lie to not warranty their work. They made me change a battery then they changed the screen and all I wanted is a phone jack replaced! Wow. So I don’t recommend these people. If they can’t fix it or even if they make it worse they won’t warranty anything and just take up your time. STAY AWAY! I even asked to speak to the manager and they basically said they can’t do anything for me.

Friendly service the first time I went in, seemed professional, I expected good work; was told my charger port would probably be done in a few days, but would DEFINITELY be fixed in 7. I went back in 2 weeks later and it wasnt finished, and was told by the staff it would take another two weeks, but they didnt provide a reason.This means my phone is taking 4 times longer to repair than I was told, and they make you pay half up front, so I cant even take it to a repair shop with actual professionals without losing my deposit.This is irresponsible. It is incredibly inconvenient for my job to go a month without a phone when the part has been in stock for a week and it only takes an hour at the absolute most to fix.

Went in the store, found two exact phone cases marked $34.99, they got scanned them and let me know that they were mis-prices and were actually $44.99. I told him that I only wanted one and that he needed to honor the price that was marked on the package, he said he was not able to do that, so I asked to speak to a manager. Manager comes over and too won’t honor the price. I let him know that I’ve worked in retail and still do, and he has to honor the price marked on package..(and yes I have pictures) he still would not and that is not how business is supposed to be handled. Definitely will never return to this store again! He was rude and even argued back and forth with my mother and myself (the manager)..poor poor poor customer service! Looking forward to speaking with someone higher up!

Went to then a few times to use them for warranty work but unpaid upfront and had a warranty from another company. This last time I asked them about their protection and what she sold me and when I tried to use their warranty was not what she said it was I am completely appalled since I had used this company before that they lied to me and did not honor knowing what they had told me about their warranty will never use this company again

Nice people but I suggest getting a screen protector with a “lifetime warranty” from a company that actually offers lifetime. It’s $5+ tax each time and I haven’t had one last more than a couple weeks. The last one they put on was crooked as hell and wouldn’t adhere to the corner and side. “Give it some time and the heat should fix it.” No thank you.

They are great!My phone was in a really bad shape, the front and back broken and of course you couldnt see anything on it. They fix it and while I could just go and buy a new one this phone have a lot information important to me.

I normally don’t review places. I took my phone into get a battery replace. Was told battery be in 5-7 days. In which it took almost two weeks.I took my phone in once the battery was in. Was told three different times phone would be completed , as they tell customers 2 hrs to replace battery. I dropped my phone off around noon, the same day at 630 pm it still was not done. Was asked if it was okay if they kept overnight so they can have it done first thing the next day.I asked what time it would be best to call to update. 2pm the latest.I called past 3 o’clock and got told that my phone had to be sent out to get a repair done on the motherboard that was damaged while changing battery.The store offered me a loaner phone , which is not even close to what I had to begin with. Upon changing SIM card to loaner phone the store tried to get sim card to work in the loaner phone, which SIM cards can not be switch phone to phone without activation three phone carrier.I had to take loaner phone to my phone carrier to get activated and pay the fee out of pocket.Repair store is given me eta of three weeks for my phone to be returned to the store. Upon me getting my original phone back I’ll have to take to get it activated out of my own pocket expense.A 70 battery replacement has turned into 4 trips to the repair store , an activation fee on a loaner phone , another activation fee once my phone had is returned .Then I get told it will taking off my bill. With all the inconvenience should there be a bill?

Didnt have a favorable experience at Genius. Had an old Motorola Moto G that wasnt holding charge. Ordered replacement battety thru Genius & they installed it. After 6 weeks, it was better but still took overnight plus half the morning to charge full 100%. Purchased a NEW Samsung Galaxy50 from them. I was told it would be no problem transferring data & activating new phone. Almost 4 hours into it I had to go to Target & purchase SIM card, return to Genius & have them install it. Consumer Cellular is my carrier & Genius wasnt able to get into CC to perform the activation. Got my phone & returned to Target. Since Target works with CC they gave me a credit for the SIM card which came off my monthly charge & had phone activated in 15 minutes. Should have gone there in the first place. In all fairness, Genius did credit the cost of the battery to the purchase of new phone.

The glass that covers the back camera on my galaxy s9 was shattered. They were able to fix it for a reasonable price and it only took about 1 hour! Im very happy with my experience at Genius Phone Repair!

Things didnt go as well as it should have, and I had to wait another week. But it all worked out, the phone is repaired.

Yesterday, I took my husbands cell phone in because it had completely stopped charging. Convinced we were going to have to replace it, I was looking at the phones available for sale. Jon took the cell phone and 15 seconds later handed it back to me with the assessment pocket lint - no charge. Honesty and integrity is remarkable & worth celebrating!

The shop was extremely helpful in replacing my phone screen. They are competitively priced, and offer same-day / expedited services for an additional cost. Their store sells a variety of accessories for cell phones and other electronics. The staff seemed extremely knowledgeable, as well as courteous and professional. They do both pre and post fix tests to ensure that there is no damage done and explain and detail what they can and cannot do. Overall had a good experience and would come back for any cell phone repair needed.

Walked into the coldwater store as basically a last effort to get my iPhone fixed. Everyone told me it couldnt be repaired and kept pushing me to purchase a new one. The staff at the store were excellent and went out of their way to make sure my repair was done and done correctly. The store manager Jason new right away what needed to be done and was able to follow through with the repair. My phone is good as new! Thanks again guys! Highly recommended!

Not impressed. After going to the guys in the Mall TCS and messed up my daughters iPhone. I Took it here to see if they could repair it but they were way too pricey and not friendly at all. Another store was able to fixed it for about half of what you guys quoted me.

Dropped it off and 4 hours later it was ready for pick-up. Friendly staff offering outstanding service, something you dont get much these days! Highly recommend them for any phone repairs.

I went there to get something simple fixed and the guy didnt even charge me for it! Will definitely come here if i got anything major that needs fixing.

I had a craked phone, and came here to replace/fix the screen. They got it fixed then gave me my phone back. About a week later, the display was all messed up, and I did nothing to cause it. The screen was turning off and on by itself, it was clicking on random apps and buttons, and the phone was completely unusable. We came back to see what happened, and they said that they must have given us a faulty screen. And again, they gave us a new screen. After about a week, my phone would randomly turn off, and I could no longer use the phone. We came back for a 3rd time and they said that the display must be faulty, and said that it is Apples fault (I had an iPhone 5) that the display was malfunctioning, and that they are not allowed to ever touch the display. We went to Best-Buy, and we had them check the phone. That said that the display had been replaced by a 3rd party (genius phone repair) and also said that Best-Buy could not do anything. So now I am left with a completely unusable phone, and I had to buy a new phone. Do not go here, take my word

The guys at Genius are just that - geniuses!!! I dont know how they were able to retrieve the data from my internal storage, but I was so thrilled I literally hugged them! Jody was great to work with and a special thanks to Tyler the technician for making this mom super happy to have 7 months of photos and videos that I thought were lost for sure. You can count on Genius to fix your phone and at a cost that you can afford!

I took my Motorola Z Droid in to have its battery replaced. I understand it may have been a challenge as they had to open the case to do so, but at no time did they warn me they may cause damage to the phone in the process. They did tell me if the repair didnt work, the cost would be refunded. My first indication they were in over their head was when I got a call saying they damaged the screen during the repair, but that they would replace it at their cost. Then i finally get a call a week later that the phone was ready for pick up, but that the frame had been bent during the repair. When i saw the phone, it didnt look too bad but there was adhesive residue around the edges that hadnt been cleaned. It seemed to work fine so i I the balance and took it with me. It worked exactly 2 days before the screen stopped working. I decided I was done with Motorola so I bought a new phone. I emailed Genius Repair about the screen but never got a response from them. I guess were headed for a face off in person to see if they honor their word.5/10/18 - Update. Genius Phone Repair did reach out to me to resolve this and issued a full refund. Im satisfied that they desire to satisfy their customers. Ill admit the Motorola Z Droid was not the easiest phone to work on but, had I been told from the outset that they are difficult and that they would likely have to replace the screen as well, I wouldve chosen to replace the phone rather than put that much money into it. To their credit, the email they sent me said they would make it policy to communicate that better in the future. I thank them for that. Im raising my 1-star rating to a 3-star for the way the resolved this issue.

Helpful, but somewhat unimpressive. They repaired the crack in my HP spectre screen, which I needed, BUT they did so after misquoting me (original estimate was 180$, turned out to be 300$), took five desolate weeks to complete the repair, neglected to do an additional repair I requested, and shipped my device to this location after requesting that my device be sent to the Angola location.To their credit, the repair was done for roughly half what HP quoted me, and the screen looks new and as attractive as ever.If my devices suffer hardware damage in the future, I will definitely consider this place, but not before looking through other organizations.In short, they did what was necessary, but were dreadfully disorganized.

YOUR PHONE WILL NOT BE THE SAMEGot my iPhone 7 screen replaced here because it was shattered. The screen and phone is absolutely not the same. I even went back and had them replace it again but nothing has changed. The screen has a cool, blue-ish tint to it, which they said is expected and can’t be helped (even though we were never told that would happen when replacing the screen). The screen flickers often, is unresponsive many times and has many dead spots. This place is not Apple certified, so having them fix my phone actually voided my Apple warranty so now Apple won’t touch it. So basically, I took them in my perfectly fine phone with just a cracked screen and walked out with a piece of junk that I can’t sell and can’t fix. I should have stuck with the cracked screen.UPDATE: they fixed the issue. Thanks!

I cracked my iPhone and took it in for repair. Staff seemed very friendly at first. I was told a 2-3 hour wait. I went back in after 2.5 hours and was told it would take another 1 hour. The staff member then tried to argue with me, saying that another hour would still be within the 3 hours (2.5+1=3.5). My repair was not done until it had been at the store for 4 hours. Not 2 or 3, but 4 hours. Staff member tried to blame it on having to get parts for another repair, not even for my phone. They were also asked to call an alternative number when the repair was done, and they did not do this either. The screen replacement looks nice, but was expensive. Apple would have done it for 80 and I paid 115. Good quality work, but the overall experience was frustrating and not worth it.

Took my phone in for what I thought was a broken home key and Manager on duty simply did a hard reboot that saved me money and time. Being in Real Estate sales having my phone at all times is crucial. Ive used these guys before and will definitely be back. Great job!

They said $140.00 for a broken charger port on a Samsung S5 in 3to5 days at drop off. I called 10 days later and they were still waiting on the part. I called 7 days later and they were still waiting on the part I asked how much longer and was told they would call me back. They never did. After a month I just asked for the phone back. A local repair shop told me for free that I could bypass the issue with an external battery charger .It cost me 18.00.

The staff at Phone Genius is great. They helped diagnose an issue with my Galaxy S 3 so when our sons Galaxy Tab 3 had issues, I took it to them without hesitation. They checked out his tablet and it only needed a battery that another battery store in town was going to charge twice as much. Great experience! 2hrs and I was back running as if it was new. Price complaints from some reviews dont apply here. Liftetime warranty on parts they replace awesome! Not having to get scammed into a new 700$ 3yr phone from service provider EVEN BETTER! Im looking to save and be done with high phone bills like my old cable. These days saving money and being smart with reasonable services is key. Many avenues to research such as this place need to be around more to give those who dont want ridiculous bills. Not sure why this place got couple poor reviews but maybe the poor quality/management has been let go since.

I smashed the rear cover of my iphone 4s and brought it in for repair. Jody got my phone right in and the technician completed it within 20 minutes (I timed him). I needed a stand or a mount for my desk and for my car, they recommended a great inexpensive product. I like them a lot and will be purchasing them as office gifts this year. Top Shelf work is hard to come by, thanks Genius.

Unfortunately, this was my 2nd time visiting this store. I broke my iPhone glass again. This time I wasnt freaked out about, if it could be fixed or not. Went in, gave them the phone, they said it would be ready in 3 hours, returned in 3 hours, phone ready, works perfect and looks like new, end of story. Love this place!

In my opinion, the services I received were less than satisfactory.My iPhone earpiece was not working correct which they said they could replace it and I agreed to have them fix it.They did not disclose to me that the replacement part would not be manufactured by Apple. Therefore, the replacement part was aftermarket and does not provide any better sound quality.They also informed me nobody in town could provide original Apple parts; however, after a call to Simply Mac they confirmed they could provide ORIGINAL Apple parts. Unfortunately, since Genius replaced the part they cannot help.

The problem with this store is they advertise a cheaper price than the others but whe you get there they tell you that they cant guarantee theyll have the phone back before they close unless your pay them a $20 expedite fee. Felt like the old bait and switch to me and I went across the street to their competitor

Honestly never experienced such a disaster. Unorganized, understaffed, and staff on hand uninformed. A simple repair turned into weeks of a nightmare.

Brought my phone in for repair of a broken screen. There was a minor delay because of not having the correct screen. Screen was replaced and everything seemed fine. Shortly thereafter I noticed that the camera was not functioning properly. I returned and they requested two hours to diagnose the problem. When I returned the camera was fixed. They explained that it was not possible for them to determine if the camera was broken when I dropped the phone originally or if it was a result of the repair. Either way they did not charge me for the camera repair; they were more interested in a satisfied customer. They certainly got a satisfied customer. They have my high recommendation.

I desperately wanted this to be a useful place. Its a chain so it has to be good...right? Wrong. I have had my phone repaired 3 times and each time there is a different problem. There glue loosens when the phone heats up not holding the phone together, the used a cheap plastic back to repair the glass back on the s8, and they charge for additional repairs if the break things when fixing your original problem. Seriously, dont waste your time or money.

I was recommended to go to genius phone repair to get my screen fixed on my iPhone 6. It was the first time I went, it was great service and I got my phone back with my screen fixed. The only problem was that right after this I got on Snapchat and noticed my back camera was now having problems and immediately went back with questions about it and they wanted to charge for a new camera, i said no. The second time I went to get my charging port replaced and feeling uneasy I checked my phones for problems to see if maybe something happened again. I noticed that now my headphone input isn’t working properly. I don’t recommend to go to genius phone repair. I feel like I have wasted my money thinking they have been repairing my phone when really a new problem surfaces. Now I can’t take a good photo unless I use my front camera and I don’t get good sound from my headphones unless I continuously adjust it. I’ve tried new headphones and it didn’t help. Invest in a new phone and not genius phone repair!!!

Bought laptop and have had two iPads repaired here.They will go the extra mile for you to make sure you are 110% happy. Having someone to talk to face to face that will do this is what makes them better than any online repair store.

I am always hesitant to try a new phone repair place in fear of rude individuals and getting price gouged. I am pleased to say, I found none of this at genius phone repair. Brian, the person behind the counter showed me and my phone great respect and a fair price for the repair he preformed. I would suggest this place to anyone who needs a repair.

Screen replacement seems okay, but not sure about the content of my phone and my privacy. Call me paranoid I suppose but I got in my car after receiving my repaired phone and found my notes app still open to a note titled “passcode” which I have locked and the phrase “pass” in the search bar of the app. I did not have my notes app open at all prior to repair. I don’t know why that was being searched or whatever else could have been rifled through but I don’t intend on getting a repair without wiping my phone next time a place requires a passcode from me.

Do not buy Gadget Gaurd here if you are ever going to attempt a self repair.Gadget Gaurd will not honor my $200.00 coverage because I want to repair the screen myself. I have repaired phones for years and am the previous manager of this location.

So i took my phone in to the the battery replaced and because they didnt have the parts for my phone it would be 3-5 business days to ship which is understandable because I have an older Motorola phone. They replaced the battery but in turn they had broken the loudspeaker on the phone and didnt put the back on right either so I had to take it back in. They replaced it free of charge but they had to order another part so 5 days later I got my phone back and the adhesive for the back of my phone still wasnt working so they told me to put on a case and when I did the right side of my screen whited out. I took it back in and they replaced the screen for free so another 5 days later they called back and said that the screen they ordered didnt work on my phone so they were going to order another one and it would be another 5 business days. By this time I had received an email from genius phone repair with a customer satisfaction survey attached to it. I filled it out honestly and submitted it but I did not post anything online yet because they were still trying to mix the problems they kept making. When they learned that I had submitted a poor review they refused to install the other screen saying that because they were a franchise it had hurt their store and now they werent going to help me anymore. They refunded me for the batter replacement but that inst even enough to get the screen repaired so now I have a phone thats even more broken than it was before I took it in. This is by far the worst experience I have had at any phone repair store. Do not recommend.

This is a UPS Access point HORRIBLE AND I MEAN HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. While I was there the person at the counter yelled to the back for another accociate to help me because she was busy. He yelled back Im doing something and never did come out to assist me totally would not recommend this place at ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have taken two phones to GPR, and were very happy each time. My phone went into the water for 5 minutes in June, and it was dead. Sprint said it was dead, and that we needed to buy a new phone. They sent me to GPR as a last resort, and for less than $100 GPR fixed it as good as new PLUS installed a new battery! It works 100% again! My wifes iPhone battery was finally dying last week, and she called Sprint who said that it couldnt be replaced and she just needed to come in any buy a new phone. She too her phone to GPR last week on her way to work. They replaced the battery and had it done so that she could pick it up on her way home the same day! The cost was much less than I expected again. They are the real deal.

These people are just the best. I dropped my iPhone on my garage floor and the glass face was entirely shattered. I went to Genius and 30 minutes later, my iPhone was back to work! You cant beat that!
