Have had nothing but the best service of any of the local retailers. While I have dealt with a number of the staff over the years, Phil has been extremely helpful regarding a purchase of a new platform. He and the team have been also very helpful regarding some of the ancillary items as well. While there are still shortages it is nice to see their ammo is priced fairly and that they do not price-gouge like a lot of others.Keep up the great work and I’ll continue to recommend your shop. One of the only places I purchase from anymore.

This is my favorite gun shop. Their prices are fair and their service is excellent. Whenever possible, I try to make my firearm and accessory purchases at ZX Gun. Theyre simply the best at what they do.

Ive purchased a few firearms from this place. They have pretty good prices and a decent selection. My only complaint is the employees are not very friendly or helpful. I stopped in today to see if they had a firearm I plan on getting. After waiting a bit I was told they dont have it and that was it. I would of thought they would at least offer to order it or something.

I have spent a lot of money in the past at the Fort Wayne store. But after the experience I had yesterday trying to purchase a new blue label I will not be back. Then when I called to get to the bottom of the issue I was told that they would not sell because my ID was invalid. I will say that my drivers license and military ID are both valid. The guy behind the counter also said that I was trying to falsify my 4473. I went to another store and made my purchase. I really wish this problem could have been resolved. Hopefully I will get my refund soon!

The best deals on everything hands down but the phone services are poor. Covid is understandable but leaving the phone line unattended is not professional and highly uncalled for. I shouldnt have to keep calling to get a response from a worker if the store is open nor should the line go to beeping from inactivity

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you have a question they will find an answer. I leave there business everytime knowing that they put their customers first. My 15 year old son has a great time there too. Even though he cant buy a gun they answer all his questions too. They have lower prices than most shops around town.

Very good service and selection of products however it is overshadowed by prices that I have found to be about 10% high and their insistence on people having to wait in line outside. The one in one out policy just doesnt appeal to me. When I am ready to give a business a thousand dollars or more of my business I am not going to stand outside in the cold in line to do so!

This was my first time in this store but I thought the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I did make a purchase and will definitely be back.

Customer service was very poor and unacceptable, they made us wait outside for over 30 minutes, while only 4-5 people could be in the store at once which was difficult if you had a party of 4, probably 10 people waiting outside, tried to hold the door open because it would lock if shut and the worker came to the door and asked me if I knew how a door worked and shut it when I was about to go in when it was my turn. Horrible place to shop for guns and ammo, the ammo they had in stock was overly expensive for even being in a gun shortage. Price gouging is bad for business and poor business practices

Hands down the best gun store in Fort Wayne. I came in looking for a pistol for personal protection and the staff there walked me around for an hour and showed me every type, what they carried, and what they recommended. I left knowing way more than I did when I walked in. I went to several other stores and none of them came close to ZX Gun on prices or customer service. I came back the next day and purchased a beautiful 1911. The staff is very personable and helpful and make you feel like they actually care, not just about the money in your wallet. I will definitely go back to ZX Gun when I inevitably buy another.

They were quick and to the point. They knew what they had and didnt have. When they didnt have what I wanted, they were able to pull it from a different store so I could go ahead and perchace it in stead of waiting.

Used to be good but they are too young and don’t understand basic things like haggling, they get defensive. They young guy barely had enough wrist strength to rack a gun. The young dude also got defensive when I asked about ammo, and proceeded to lecture me about a shortage nationwide as if I wasn’t already aware. They are not a group of winners. And they all wear bandana masks like they are Billy The Kid or something, young guys think it’s cool to wear a COVID mask

Never again! I did like this shop at first but apparently Corona Virus has brought out the worst in these guys! Lots on new unhelpful, unfriendly faces! Was a nightmare picking up a simple transfer! First there system was down and they were unable to check in gun. Then claimed they didnt receive proper paperwork from shipper! I have ordered and bought hundreds of guns in my life and never had this much trouble! I do not recommend and I would never use them again!

As a young, attractive woman, I usually have a hard time shopping at gun stores, so seeing that you had a lovely, sweet, and helpful woman close to my age working there was a great feeling! Better than freedom firearms by far. Customer service is A-1, price is right, Phil with the glasses is definitely doing it right and taking care of the customers on a daily. Warning!!! They will rip you off. They have a layaway BUT you put half down and 30 days to pay. If you cancel the layaway after only 3 days they will only give you half of your layaway back and then proceeded to tell you its because they already ordered another gun to replace the one you put on layaway and that its a restock fee! What?? So, they make money for doing nothing and then sell the firearm you had on layaway. Sportsmans warehouse has a 60 day layaway and only require 20% down and you can cancel the layaway and get a FULL refund of your deposit. In addition, the staff at zx are rude and talk about you to other co-workers in front of you! Pathetic

After some research and visiting other shops in the area I happily made my purchase at ZX Gun. Knowledgeable, friendly service. No hassle paperwork process. And very competitive prices.

There is absolutely no comparison in the level of customer service and expertise that Taylor and the other gentlemen from ZX offer to the people in the Fort Wayne area. Best prices hands down. They make freedom look like they buy from zx and mark up the prices. Always helpful and professional even when a super leftie like me shows up. I have only had 1 problem with them and that was a grip didnt fit on my Anderson lower. Both were purchased with them. A employee helped me with the grip pick and knew the lower I had. When I got home to install the grip I found it didnt find and called them they said no returns even after the employee was the one that helped me pick it out knowing all the specs. 1 time out of the countless i have been there isnt bad. 4 stars. Would be 5 if that incident didnt happen.

I first got into firearms in 2015 and was totally clueless about firearms. After doing tons of research on the firearm I wanted and price I wanted, I went in to ZX Guns just to check it out (was not planning on buying anything). Well it turns out that because these guys have a lot of knowledge about firearms and had excellent customer service, I went ahead and purchased a firearm from them.They definitely have the most reasonable prices than anywhere else Ive seen, even from what Ive seen online. Also, theyre honest guys not trying to rip you off or sell you anything you dont want. Nate has done a great job and has gained my trust. He even emailed me a whole FBI report on ballistics to help educate me on the types of ammunition is out there and their performance. Even the guys I see at the Indianapolis and Fort Wayne Gun shows are top notch, informative, no pressure kind of guys!I have bought 2 firearms ZX Guns, and have also brought in a friend who also became a customer. Tory also helped me with some information with another potential firearm I wanted. Her knowledge was also valuable. She is willing to take the extra step to make sure that customers are getting the attention they need. Everyone at ZX Guns does a great job making sure the customer comes first and is treated with respect! Keep up the good work!

They have a really nice selection of handguns. The gun I bought, the prices were on par with internet prices, if you consider shipping and transfer fees. The person who helped me was friendly and accommodating, but didnt seem to know anything about the product. I was the one describing the differences between the versions. I went in knowing I was buying one of them. I did end up buying the significantly cheaper version. I didnt care about all the bells and whistles, but I did want the grips that came with the more expensive one. (A knowledgeable salesperson might have been able to talk me in to the more expensive model, I was THAT on the fence)Anyways, I asked if it was something that could be ordered. Nobody looked to find out or took a note so they could look later, and call me back, even though I indicated it was something I really wanted to buy. So I bought the gun as is. I guess that money for those grips will just go to an online retailer instead.

Ive had two transfers here and have bought some gear here. Love the staff there. All of them actually. Great experience here. The only thing that can make this place better is if they carried reloading supplies even if they didnt carry powder. Also would love to see them buy some land near by for shooting so I dont have to go to freedom any more.

Unlimited knowledge and experience for anything and everything. I went in not knowing what I wanted at all and after going through about 15 pistols (very patiently I might add) they found the perfect one. Went in as a first time gun buyer. When purchasing my firearm, the gentleman dealing with me placed 3 boxes of tumble upon impact ammo on my gun box and told me when you buy a new gun, *from us,* we give you three boxes of ammunition. Had them ready to go with my purchase. Wording it as if it were a bonus for buying a new firearm from them, (or that they had some overpriced gimmick rounds they were trying to get rid of.) Sure! Why not? Turns out they charged me for the ammo. Went back in and they told me it wasnt part of their policy, and that I could always sell it. $70 for 60 rounds of gimmick 9mm ammo to plink cans in the backyard or something. I could have bought around 300 fmjs, a bunch of hollow points, or heck a holster and another mag or two from them while I was there for that price, Id think a good vendor wouldnt have sold a 23 year old first time buyer 60 glorified 9mm fmjs for $70. I feel a bit cheated and taken advantage of, and will not be returning.

Just picked up a transfer the other day and the staff was helpful and friendly, wish I wouldve know they already had the gun in stock because I would have purchased directly from them, Ill use zx for all gun purchases in the future

Not only an excellent experience, but my dad and I got to use their virtual firing range. The system is similar to the EST training that we conduct in the service. There is a pistol and AR option that will help one learn: 1) trigger fundamentals; 2) practice movement to contact; and 3) sight picture. With the variety of games and training exercises, the virtual range is definitely a unique feature and something that all shooters, novice to advance, can greatly enjoy. We appreciated the experience, and will see you again!

This shop is okay, but its nowhere near the best gun shop in Ft Wayne as others have said. Maybe Im missing something, but limited selection compared to others & Ive never been asked if I need help when there. Ill stop by and check inventory & prices, but other shops (Gander, Wrigley & Freedom to name three Id rather go to) usually have better selection.

Long story short started as a little frustrating situation but Kristin and Brett changed my experience greatly. Customer service was second to none and I will most definitely be back for my future purchasing due to the resolution to my issues performed by these two. No return policy for optics!!! Just a heads up! Spent $500 on a scope and went to return the next day to find out there is no returns. However they did buy it back....... for $350....... yes that is better than having a $500 scope sitting in the safe not being used but that $150 is the most I will ever spend on a return in my life... sad. I also stood there for 45 minutes to do all that... I should have just bought the one I wanted originally online and been done. Wanted to support local business and got screwed. Wont make that mistake again.

I bought a rossi model 92 & a rossi model 856 . They had to order them received in 3 weeks with things being slow or shut down I was very pleased will definitely be back
