I have purchased several used cars over the years. I know a used vehicle comes with issues, wear and tear etc. For the amount I payed for the car, what has occurred is inexcusable. The car I purchased two weeks ago from Fort Walton Beach Auto Brokers has been a nightmare. Almost every other day new problems keeping popping up with the car. I was misled at purchase about why the check engine light was on, once I got it home the car would shut off in reverse and at stop signs. I fixed that problem. $50 part not that big of a deal. The car came with tires that had really bad tread, I bought new ones for it close to $400. Now I am having hard shifting with the transmission and also the brakes intermittently loose pressure, to get the car to stop I have to push the brake pedal all the way to the floor. Needless to say it has turned into a fast money pit. I echo the fellow reviewers have a mechanic or someone that really knows about vehicles check it out before you buy.

I bought a truck from the MARY Ester location about 5 years ago. Don’t think I left a review back then , but I will now. I bought a Nissan Titan it was used but in great shape. I drove it had it checked out. Truck had minor problems they were more then happy to reduce the price some to cover the minor problems. I just maintained the truck like it should be and it still runs great. I’m buying a new truck soon and selling this one to my brother. Hopefully he will get several years out of it before a major repair is needed. I’ve read thru some of the bad reviews on here and decided to share my experience. They didn’t ask me to do it. They are a good local, family owned place, to buy a vehicle no matter your social status. Yes you should have any used vehicle ,you want to buy, checked out by a reputable mechanic. That goes for all lots unless it’s guaranteed in writing. That way at least your buying a vehicle with out current problems , future break downs can occur to any vehicle , not necessarily the lots fault they can’t predict the future. Anyway just wanted to share a positive review and hope it helps someone on their next vehicle purchase.

Easiest time I ever had buying a vehicle. Bought a 2017 GMC Canyon from Skip. Very down to earth people there. Impressed with the whole operation. Very hassle free. I will certainly shop there for my next one.

I will never deal with the Mary Esther office again. I bought a van and within a month I had to take it to a repair shop. Five shops later the repair man said - oh no - they didnt sell that to you did they? Im so sorry. I told the previous owner to get rid of it immediately. I cant believe they put you on the road with this van. None of the five shops I went to would take any payment for checking out the problem nor would they get into repairing it because the cost would exceed the value. They all said they could not in good conscience take my money because I would need it for buying another car. They estimated I could get about $300 to junk it.I went back to the salesman and asked if we could swap out the van for something on the lot...after two hours and getting a mechanic to inspect a car I liked...I could walk out with it for just over $5,000.I picked up my purse and didnt start crying until I reached the front door.In the words of Edgar Allen Poe, Never more, never more.

I have bought many, many cars over the years, and I have never had such a great experience as purchasing a used car from the FWB Auto Brokers. This time, I bought a car for my daughter and was met by the Sales Manager Davie. Please remember that name, Davie; sincere, accommodating, easygoing, and very fair-minded. My daughter has now had the car for several weeks, and loves it, with no problems whatsoever. We received a fair price for our trade -in and purchased a newer car, for a super price. Gave me a hard time on a trade because I didnt have proof that my Ford 6.0 is bullet proofed by the previous owner. Even after they ran the data plate and verified themselves that its bullet proofed... bulletproofed means that the EGR is deleted, the aftermarket oil cooler, and cool air intake is install and the truck is studded (diesel terms)... sadly theyve caused me to look elsewhere even after getting approved through Navy Federal. Poor service in my personal experience even as a service member. Sadly Im having to search in Pensacola at the exact same truck

Experience here was horrible. I was turned away because I because I asked LARRY to lower the price on a car, for corroded battery leads that they half way cleaned up, bald , tires and the unrepaired knick in the windshield , that also needed replaced as well as the wipers, brakes AND rotors. Would NOT recommend this place. I went Beach City Motors, got a better car for a better price and I love it! Mr. Larry you are a very RUDE person!

It will be 90 days that I will have this lemon. Coming home from my moms funeral the car breaks down in Alabama and I had to have it towed to Florida. Called the dealer and informed him what was happening, he said its your problem. How nice have him right, well 1200 dollars the Nissan breaks down again.So now Im without a car again.

I bought a vehicle from them a few years ago, as is. It was not a bad experience and the vehicle is still being used by my teen so I decided to give them a shot when my next teen needed a vehicle. Not only did not buy anything from there but the salesman Billy, on the Hwy 98 lot, was was so dishonest and the car was so disgusting that I left and will never go back to them again. If you are going to buy from them, go to Tuffy in Mary Esther, they do a pre-purchase vehicle check for $40.00, it will be the best money you ever spent.

Just bought a ford escape from these guys and had a very nice mo shove it on you experience and wound up with a great vehicle at an awsome price.

Make sure to have your car inspected by a dealer or mechanic you trust! Bought a car and the brake pads and rotors needed replacement imediatley. It wasnt safe to drive. Several other problems have cropped up since.

Me and my ex did an application to do a couple application MY credit / and his income so I could get another car mine broke down after 4 years well they ran his credit instead of mine and mine is 719 right now and didnt even get a courtesy call back or nothing they ran the application wring to start Not happy
